I still feel deeply sorry for her that she thought this was her only way out of these horrible cricumstances and my heart breaks for her family members.
I dont think anyone can supervise a child every minute. People do have to go to the bathroom and I don't blame her for Maxie's tragic accident. If for instances the dog playfully jumped up on Maxie making him lose his balance and tumble over the railing Rebecca could have been standing right there and she couldn't have prevented it.
I know how it feels to lose a loved one to suicide and the 'whys' will never go away.
IMO
IMO, this is getting beyond ridiculous.
Max was not a toddler, nor was he an infant left alone in dangerous circumstances.
Please enlighten me as to how Rebecca was supposed to "ensure the safety of the child" before she went to the bathroom.
If she is the one who wrote the message, why doesn't she say "I saved you," instead of "she saved him."
Another extremely bizarre thing about this whole case. How did RN knew how to tie these kind of knots? She isn't a sailor and never had been one as far as I can tell.
If RN's family had the money RS has, her death would have been investigated very differently from the beginning. Sad, really.
Yes, there are rules for the rich, and then there are rules for the not so rich...If RN's family had the money RS has, her death would have been investigated very differently from the beginning. Sad, really.
The reason we have child abuse and neglect laws is to thoroughly investigate questionable injuries/incidents involving children. LE is the top line for investigating child abuse and neglect. They ruled this as a TRAGIC ACCIDENT. Did you see the illustration LE did for Maxie's accident?
They spent more time invesigating Maxie death than RN's (MOO).

I had not seen these photos close up. Only watched the PC online and was more listenting to it than watching it since I was at work.
I showed that picture of the bed knots to my husband (he is retired Navy) and asked his opinion. He said he could create knots like that but he doubted RN knew how to. I was fascinated with the intricate nature of the knots.
I would never have come up with that kind of knot configuration for that purpose. IMO, there was definitely someone experienced in knots that tied that to the bedpost. I am even more convinced that RN did not do that. And the paintbrush looks staged. Placed parallel to the rope line.
The more I learn, the more questions I have.
In support of the notion that Rebecca wrote this, the third person voice could imply a kind of traumatic disconnection from her sense of self and identity; perhaps a necessary or abetting disjunction between the actor and the subject who are one and the same, as they are primed to carry out a suicide upon herself in this case. Or....
hmmnnn.....this sounds like a logical construct from someone with some psychological training; anybody in this cast of characters who has psychological training?
Just another way to interupt the message would be she wrote it meaning she saved Max.
Wouldnt be a very nice thing to write and would also imply something awful.
just throwing this out there, pretty off the wall, don't believe it myself but it's a thought i had just now reading this: maybe "can he save her" is referring to god saving her soul in some way? i dunno. i was listening to hln earlier and someone said that rebecca believed people who commit suicide go to hell. not sure where they got that info, i guess the family.

How can a rope from the garage have only Rebecca's DNA on it? Who took it out of the package? Wound it up?? Put it on the shelf in the garage?? IF that is even where it really came from.
With every post, it reminds me more and more of the JonBenet Ramsey murder.
