Time will tell, I guess. So far, Vinnie Politan is only covering the MJ and CM case.

I see the Armstrong family from Beverly Hills Housewives are now alleging that his suicide was not a suicide either. It's all the rage out there these days I guess.

or was it an intentional alibi? I was at the hospital... see the voice-mail that I left at this time from the hospital 20 minutes away?
IMO

Can someone please help me with this. I remember LE stating that the parents were either at the hospital, or across the street at Ronald McDonald house the whole time. Does anyone have a link to this please?

JMO and experience, but I have worked LE in: County, City, State and now federal, in that order. At no time have I ever worked in a department where there was a big conspiracy or a large cover-up, to my knowledge. I think it would be hard to pull off, especially in a multi-agency situation, and a large public interest case. Sure, it CAN happen and I'm sure has happened...but I guess my question would be why in this case, and how would the powers that be that were influenced by mogul's $ or whatever, then have that "look the other way" manner of working trickle down through crime scene techs, several layers of supervisors, several detectives, the ME's office, probably the DA's office, etc.

I guess I'm just not seeing here on the case, yet, a good reason why so many people would put their own personal work up for scrutiny, for some powerful man who they probably never met. Most people want to be known for doing good work, and seeing justice done, especially (right or wrong) when a young child is involved.

Again, not saying it didn't happen that way, but I don't think so. Maybe fault a few people in missing certain details in their work, but that is different than turning the other way to actively participate in shoddy work.

JMO and putting the flame suit on.

Brilliant Post, Elementry! IMO
I've had lots of experience with sociopaths, or pathological liars, if you prefer, and they always have a bit of the truth in their statements. Their lies "could be" true, so that when confronted, they can turn on a dime and produce another lie. Most statements have multiple meanings, and then there is always, "oh you misunderstood what I said... What you must have heard was this, what I meant was this." It's fascinating. Your scenario above seems to me, exactly what is happening.

Thanks, but you know, I have problems totally buying into my own scenario that that's what LE has tried to do. Almost more likely that merely were just incompetent as hell. Nobody had to instruct them to botch this so badly. Then again, there's some chance they might be correct and have answers for all the questions - they'd just rather not have to explain.......

Here ya go:
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, cops determined Jonah and Dina Shacknai were keeping vigil at their son's hospital bedside the night Rebecca died. "We concluded beyond a shadow of the doubt, that neither Jonah or Dina were at the house that night. Jonah and Dina were at the hospital at Max's bedside, or at the Ronald McDonald house, across the street from the hospital," Lt. Nesbit told RadarOnline.com.

Great post and well taken. I still have a lot of questions about their actions and conclusions however.

This is just pure skeptical intuition, but I don't totally trust Sheriff Bill "I Invented Science" Gore. He's a company man par excellence, but his crime fighting skills? I don't know. 30 years in the FBI, yes, but I read in one of the sheriff's election debate transcripts that 2 of the 9/11 hijackers were right under his nose in San Diego but slipped through the net. He blamed the CIA.

Just read MS's AR.

Upon admittance to the hospital on July 11, toxicological testing revealed the presence of benzodiazepines (which we discussed here on previous threads). The AR refers to the test as presumptive.

We were under the impression that another test was done immediately and that the 2nd test was negative.

Not so - in terms of another test being done immediately.

A second test WAS done - but with antemortem blood collected by the ME on 7/16/11 before Max was taken off life support (the AR narrative states it was collected on 6/16/11, but I think that was a typo).

So - on 7/11, presumptive positive test for benzodiazepines.

Blood drawn on 7/16 (5 days later) tested negative.

Here's my question: Why wasn't another toxicological test done right away - on 7/11?

The negative test results from blood drawn 5 days later is irrelevant to the prior presumptive positive test results, IMO.

Possibly due to the fact that they were supposed to be present. Prescription Max was on, or used during intubation. Otherwise imho, the test would have been repeated, as is the course where I work.

If JS called RZ to report MS had no viable life signs and had taken a horrible turn for the worse (which is my theory all along - thus prompting her to commit suicide), would he have not called AS as well with this info? This just dawned on me......Wouldn't AS have come running to RZ to share in their grief?

And I really can't see RZ falling asleep if she was waiting for JS' phone call (that was an idea by someone else) - wouldn't you be waiting for the phone very anxiously? Or maybe all of the events just took an emotional toll and she feel asleep?

With head trauma patients can be lucid and talk first before deteriorating.

Yeah, look at the poor guy this summer who fell off the railing at a baseball game and landed on his head. He was coherent enough to make sure someone tended to his young son. He died shortly thereafter.
