Thank you. I readily admit my mistake.
I also edited my post incase you didn't see it. Martin Woodhouse has had his issues with the police department while he was a cop and was involved in a messy lawsuit over killing a man while on duty. Just google him. He is a bit controversial.

5 yrs later….increase the reward…..why not make it 100 million…..the multiple murderers haven’t been arrested…..and, how many of you thought it was me.
The cover-up continues…..keep holding your breath.
The arrests are coming soon.
NOT!
Thank you for commenting KW ... I'm laying odds another 5yrs come & go.
Good to hear from you - Stay well

Who will testify for $35 million, if he didn't for $10 million?
I was thinking of a spouse if their husband is involved. If he’s guilty they may lose everything, but the extra $25 million may enable her/him to resolve debts and be financially stable enough for them to stand on their own, imo.

It’s a lot of money, but they may be living in that tax-bracket and are used to it.

They can also do a lot of image washing with that money. Donate to charity so that they’re not solely seen as the spouse of a brutal killer.

Is there any way to contact Doug Grady?
This gives me an idea. If we believe a family member hired A professional Killer, they would assume LE would investigate family members for suspicious payments. But what if you hired the killer, and the payment to them would be made by hiring them to investigate the murders after the fact? <modsnip>

''I also ask Jonathon about his whereabouts the week of his parents’ deaths, particularly the Wednesday evening. In our email exchange in December, Jonathon had shared a photo he took of his hand and a note with the time code of 7:17 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2017, and the location of his home visible on the smartphone photo. Police have said the Shermans were killed that evening, likely between 9 p.m. and midnight.

Jonathon says he snapped the photo that evening to have a record of a “seed code” for his cryptocurrency account and that the hand in the photo is his. He says he also has a photo on his phone taken the next morning at 8:30 a.m., and the location is at his home.

I suggest to him that a photo of his hand taken at 7:17 p.m. at his family compound outside Toronto does not necessarily mean he could not have gone to his parents’ house later that night. Jonathon agrees, but says he has always assumed that whoever killed his parents “hired someone else.”

Video at link.
Nothing new of course, just interesting to see the CNN version of events.
Reminded though that it was not revealed whether or not anything was stolen from the house, wondering now if BS invested money into the crypto currency craze, tucked his password somewhere,( other than writing on, then photographing his hand ) as did JS?
imo, speculation.rbbm

''Police outside the Toronto residence of Barry and Honey Sherman after they were found dead on December 15, 2017.
“Legal complexities in some executions have been challenging, given the litigious nature of Barry Sherman’s businesses, in particular the search and seizure of electronics and Barry Sherman’s workspace at Apotex,” Gomes said in January 2018.''

''Over the years Barry Sherman had sued dozens of people, including a lawsuit filed the last day he was seen alive against someone he claimed had scammed him out of a $150,000 investment, the CBC reported. He was known to loan money to friends and relatives, and invest in other businesses.

Gomes declined to provide details on what evidence was found in the search of the home or whether anything was stolen. She said there were no suspects, but added that police are speaking to a number of people who had access to the home.''

''After years of silence, police made a stunning announcement on the fourth anniversary of the couple’s deaths last year.

They shared a video of a shadowy person caught on security video walking on the snow-covered sidewalks in the couple’s North York neighborhood. Police described the person as a suspect and asked for the public’s help in identifying them.''

''He shared a photo he had taken of his hand on his phone that night, which was dated and had a timestamp of 7:17 p.m. The report noted that the location of his home was also visible in the photo.''

''As for why he'd taken that photo, Jonathon said he needed a “seed code” for his cryptocurrency account (accounts like Bitcoin utilize such methods as backup in case a user's system becomes corrupted). He confirmed that the hand in the photo was his own, and that he has a second photo on his phone taken the next morning at 8:30 a.m., with the location at his home.

Regardless of the solidity of this "proof" (Jonathon admitted himself it's not airtight), he maintained he didn't have anything do with the killings and that he thinks the actual people who were behind the deaths “hired someone else” to carry them out. ''

Please enlighten us all. What have I missed here and what are you saying? Martin Woodhouse was a police officer with TPS. What are you saying? I confuse easily.
keyword = was

He was a former detective who was hired by the children's team.. acting on behalf of and reporting to the private team and not the police.. and which team was subsequently released by the family from their duties 2 years later, in December 2019, IIRC. Police seemed to have some difficulty in obtaining all of the materials/evidence/tips they'd requested from the private team, and it seemed to take much longer than it should've for them to hand it over - police also wondered if some stuff was missing. Daughter Alex reportedly had to hire her own lawyer to have the team step down, when the sisters changed their minds and wanted to work directly with Toronto Police Service. TPS subsequently asked for all tips which had ever been sent directly to the family tipline, to be made again directly to TPS. According to Woodhouse's own LinkedIn account, he left TPS in 2010, seven years prior to the Sherman murders.

While he, his sister Alex and her husband Brad were allied at the start of the private probe — having regular meetings together with Greenspan and private detective Tom Klatt — Jonathon says that at some point, Alex started thinking he was somehow involved in the murders. Eventually, she hired criminal lawyer John Rosen to push Greenspan to end his probe and give everything it had collected to the police.

Another revelation in Yim’s affidavit relates to the private investigation led by criminal defence lawyer Brian Greenspan and private detective Tom Klatt. According to Yim, some of the information Greenspan and Klatt’s team have provided is short on details.

“Some of the tips (provided by Greenspan’s team) appear to be incomplete or missing
and required further follow up with the private investigators,” Yim says in his affidavit. “It is also my understanding that the private investigators will be providing the Toronto Police Service with further disclosure in the near future. The information received from the private investigators will be reviewed in conjunction with the evidence that the Toronto Police Service has collected in this investigation thus far.”

While Idsinga said the private team received 343 tips — information that was shared with police — it has now wrapped its work on the case, he said, citing the Sherman family.

Idsinga asked that anyone who submitted those private tips now resubmit them to Toronto police to avoid any loss of information.

From what has been known, the NW is shorter than JS so the NW is not believed to be him. Also, LE could trace his movements from his same cell phone for that night.

True, but I am guessing they used burner phones or something like that so the police will never be able to connect a cell phone number to the murderers.

I have no knowledge of crypto or bitcoin, but that pic JS took the evening of the murders...could it have been a transfer of crypto or Bitcoin to another party? Did the picture I wonder show exactly what the transaction was? A purchase of coins or a transfer or a deposit? If it even works that way..I have no idea

Speculation, imo hypothetical.
My post was not clear because the links were posted in drips and drabs, sorry!
LE have not said if anything was stolen from the house or not, but what if BS decided to invest big bucks into bitcoin encouraged by JS's excitement about his venture into cryptocurrency?

Maybe thieves either knew or assumed BS invested in bitcoin and had a password hidden in the house, or they tried to force him to transfer assets to bitcoin?
Not suggesting or considering that NW is JS.

  • ''An entrepreneur told police he was tortured by masked robbers targeting his bitcoin millions, Spanish media reported.
  • Zaryn Dentzel, cofounder of Spanish site Tuenti, was attacked at his Madrid home.
  • He was tied, bound, and gagged before the assailants fled with his passwords.
An entrepreneur has claimed to police he was tortured for hours by masked robbers who entered his home in an apparent attempt to steal millions of euros in bitcoin, according to Spanish media.''

'Bitcoin owners are getting rich because the cryptocurrency has soared. But what happens when you can’t tap that wealth because you forgot the password to your digital wallet?'

''(NEXSTAR) – There’s one password San Francisco programmer Stefan Thomas probably should have memorized. It’s standing between him and $240 million.

Thomas holds a small hard drive, called an IronKey, that contains the keys to a digital wallet containing 7,002 Bitcoin, the New York Times reported Tuesday. That amounts to exactly $242,546,164.27.

But Thomas can’t seem to figure out the password — and he only has two more chances to get it right. The IronKey only allows users ten guesses.
Thomas said he lost the paper where the password was written years ago. He’s already tried eight of his most commonly used passwords.''

''Canada's leading cryptocurrency exchange company has said it cannot repay $190m (£110m) to clients because its founder died with their passwords.

QuadrigaCX's founder Gerald Cotten, 30, died "due to complications with Crohn's disease" while travelling in India to open an orphanage in December, his wife Jennifer Robertson said.

Mr Cotten held "sole responsibility for handling the funds and coins" and no other members of the team could access the stored funds,''

True, but the family has more money than anyone could imagine, there is no reason they can't spend millions in hiring the best PI's or detectives that money can buy and figure out things, but I don't hear them doing that. I wonder why.....I have my own personal ideas, I am sure all of us here do.

Edit: I want to add that they could also pay out of their pocket to add 4 or even 10 police officers to their case (and pay the cops their wages for a very long time ) to help speed up the process of finding the murderer...hmmm, but they haven't

It may be seen as a conflict of interest if they gave money to the TPS, especially if it was just one of them doing so, imo.

Sounds clever, but they have looked in on the Japan trip right before and any cryptocurrency that was used.

Source please?

Is there any evidence that B or H or any of the Sherman’s were into bitcoins? I know absolutely nothing about bitcoins.

JS is into it. He took a photo of his hand holding a code for a crypto account the evening of the murders. (or something like that, like I said this bitcoin/crypto stuff is way beyond my knowledge)

Thank you. Why take a pic of it on the night of the murders? I know less than nothing about crypto so maybe one needs to photo it for some reason. Way beyond me.

Definition of a Seed Phrase

The seed phrase is a collection of random words, which are generated by a crypto wallet upon setup. It serves as the emergency backup for recovering access to funds in cases where you lose access to the crypto wallet. The importance of seed phrase in restoring access to lost crypto funds generally leads to confusion with private keys.

Private keys are combinations of numbers and alphabets, which help users in executing transactions from their crypto wallets. While the security of private keys and the seed phrase share equal priorities for crypto owners, they have completely different functions. Any individual with access to your private key or seed phrase is most likely to compromise the funds in your wallet.
