This is exactly what I said earlier. Every clock in my house is different. And MAYBE he never even got out of bed, maybe she came in the bedroom, said she was leaving, he said goodbye and rolled back over. Happens everyday in my house. Maybe he just said she left at 6:15 because that is the usual time she leaves, and maybe they asked what she was wearing and he said "scrubs" because that what she usually wears. Do we know for sure that he said he was for sure up and awake when she left? Or is he just going by what "usually" routine in their house?

Or...maybe he did it. I need more info.

My hubby is a real early bird - rises at 4:30 or 5 AM without an alarm clock. I get real mad if he wakes me, and it's not unusual for me to snarl at him - "WHAT TIME IS IT ANYWAY?" :furious: , and he has been known to say something like "6 am" when its really 5 AM, 'cuz he knows I won't be as mad, and will likely roll over and fall back to sleep. If MW says he saw LW at 6:15, is it possible he thought it was 6:15 because either she said so or it's the usual time she leaves the house so he assumed it was 6:15?

Also, to myseriew, re: the wallet - I keep a really messy wallet. I never put my credit cards back into the slots, I just shove them into the change or bill compartment, so I know my cards would fly out easily. I know I am unusually sloppy with stuff, who knows if LW is a slob like me?

I can think of a few. Dont know what happened to her, but I have pulled over for a few reasons in the past.
1. Engine trouble, with a brand new vehicle, lesson....do not ever continue to drive when your oil pressure drops!
2. Threw a lit ciggerate out the window and it flew back in, to the back seat! But, she is prego and prob. dont smoke.
3. Turned a corner too fast and my coffee, soda, or whatever went flying out of the cup holder and spilled all over. pull over to clean it up a little.
4. ashamed to admit this one.....realized I was driving in second (automatic car) and pulled over to put it into drive. I do this one alot, dont know why :blushing:
5.Pulled over to make sure I had my checkbook, or whatever so I did not have to go back home later. Better to do it now when only a block from home.
6. felt faint and pulled over. Very possible being pregnant and the weather so hot. Better to pull over than continue driving, in my opinion!

Just saying, there are plenty of reasons people pull over.

Good point. I thought maybe morning sickness caused her to pull over - I did that alot when pregnant. Didn't always get sick, sonetimes the feeling would pass.

Also, I often pull over to look for something I need to have with me that day, to make sure I have it with me before I turn around and head for home to retrieve it.

I doubt I would kick my shoes off or drop anything if I had a gun to my head.

I doubt I would kick off my shoes either, let alone think about them. If I were to think about them, it would be to leave them on in case I had the opportunity for a quick getaway on foot.

Which could be exactly the perp's line of thinking, if this is why her shoes were left behind.

It's awfully difficult to run over gravel, broken glass, uneven terrain, etc., without shoes.

These are my notes from the Global news report.( at 6pm)

Search and Rescue are out searching (shown at 167th and 142th)
They were using at least one dog.
Looks like they were also using a helicopter.
Forensic team was in the house most of the day. When the news team stepped on the property they were asked to get off of it-- it was being treated as a crime scene which is normal procedure so they were told.
Search teams will be out at 8am tomorrow.
Forensic team will likely be at the house for several more days.

I do wonder if possibly she was "meeting" someone at that parking lot. It is possible that the other person's vehicle looks like hers...but....I must say the longer she is missing, the more suspicious he looks.

Well the police will scour her cell phone/home and work records calls in and out - if there is a man around he will come to light.

I would be curious about her last Dr's appointment.... do we really know she's pregnant? or is this something he is saying?

This could be a runaway bride situation, but the fact that she has a toddler makes me think not. I hope they get a lead soon.

In the first article, it states that the door was wide open. I would be interested in knowing if the inside of the suv was dry or damp. And I would also like to know where the drivers seat was positoned.

Here in Texas if I leave a window open in the car, sometimes in the morning the car is damp on the inside and I even have to use the defrost on the windshield, the dew has "fallen" as we say here. Would it be possible to have something like this happen in Edmonton? I guess what I am trying to say is--if the dew falls there, and the suv is damp on the inside, then we know that the suv was there much earlier that 5:50 am.

Good point about the dew! That happens in my state too, although not everyday.

I have a question for hospital workers. What is a hopital clerk? I'm asking that to know why they wear scrubs. Do they always wear them to work? Thanks.

,I prevail upon all. Please always lock your doors and windows of your house and car day and night. Always check your entire interior before getting in your vehicle.

I don't care where you live or how safe it usually is. I live in a well patrolled,largely wealthy area,(heaven knows I'm not) lol but I lock my door even when I go check my mail.

I've taught all my kids that also. They are all grown but still remember my warnings. I'm not paranoid or live in fear but better safe than sorry.
I have been reading true crime for about 25 years and know of many instances where serial killers and such have gotten in through unlocked windows or doors in supposedly safe or rural cities or towns.

Also my opinion is, if someone has a weapon on you and tries to take you, Don't let them! Make them have to do whatever right there in public. Otherwise you have no control at all and are at their mercy, helpless. I'm talking here from an incident that happened to me. I could tell you the story but I've been going on quite a bit already. In my case I refused to go with a car of several men with a gun and they left. I could have been shot, but that was better than what could have happened to me at their hands.

One more thing I taught my kids. Never, ever let someone tie you up if you can fight it. Again, then you are hopelessly at their mercy.

I'm sorry being off topic and I realize most of you know all this already , but I did notice some folks mentioning not keeping things locked and even an officer telling people in Edmonton they have no worries as it's a safe area. I feel that's not good advice, people should keep aware wherever they are and you can't tell what stranger you can trust by their looks as Ted Bundy and others have shown.

I'm no scaredy- cat but just like to keep aware and not take familiar surroundings for granted.

I hope I haven't come off as insulting or some know it all windbag. Just trying to share some of my things I learned.
