Can someone please refresh my memory and tell me who took the photo of K and B driving the Rav4? And also where was the photo taken and when?

TIA

Is this what you're after.

Sunday, July 14

Circa 11:30pm – Alandra Hull, road crew supervisor, was returning to her work camp saw and bearded man confronting the couple. They were standing next to the van and he was standing in the middle of the highway. His grey car was parked down the road facing south. She said he looked frustrated. She saw him walk towards the pair and said they looked bothered.

Monday, July 15

circa 6:45am – Trevor Pierre’s (road worker/paramedic) boss, Alandra Hull, called him to say that a young couple had been found dead and he was asked to attend the scene and secure it until police arrived. He saw a trucker, John Wright, who had stopped at the site, visibly upset. The trucker had called RCMP to advise and provided his name so they could follow him up.

Many links have been posted for Alandra Hull, but here's one for Pierre and the trucker:

‘Still troubled by it’: Witness recounts securing the scene of northern B.C. double murder

John Wright is the name of the tow truck driver. Either that’s a big error they made or there’s 2 John Wright’s that are truckers? But that would be a huge coincidence. I’m not sure but if they got that wrong I wouldn’t trust that article.

I don't know I'm starting to lean towards they were driving by shot out the van window... Lucas came out ..things.. started to go crazy. Now have two dead... They robbed the van of any money and ID... them young men took off few hours up the road ... camped out ... wondered what the heck to do now ..

I can't explain why, but my intuition says the two suspects did not drive by and shoot. They stopped, or approached the couple, and yes I agree with you, things went from bad, to worse.

Reports say dear CD's coffin was closed at the request of a family member and earlier reports relayed the abhorrence about the condition of her body when discovered. This suggests either a ballistic impact at close range

An open casket wasn’t an option. Chynna’s brother said the family was told an open casket would not be allowed at her funeral. The road worker who secured the crime scene gestured to his head but didn't elaborate at all. The only thing you could conclude was she had been shot in the face/head.

Sorry, that's my error. I thought I had deleted the name. Yes, tow truck driver. Ive amended my post by deleting the name. Otherwise it's correct.

Some of the happiest memories of my dear old dad, god rest his soul, were of buckling himself into his crappy car and driving the highways of BC. Pure freedom.

But the comparison of Canada's roads to Australia is apt---once you get out of the well-populated areas it is best to have reliable transport, and the further the trip the more serious the prep should be. I've know someone who broke down in the Nullabar, a desert area. He was pretty blasé about the condition of his car and got lucky. Someone came to his rescue. I was side-lined on an empty stretch in Montana and a kindly American helped out. Never forgot that generosity of spirit.

So when I think about the burning RAV I can imagine that same sort of luck for two losers on the run. If that's the case, someone looking for their 15 minutes---thanks Andy Warhol for describing that phenomenon---will come forward, "I Could Have Been Killed" or some variation.

Otherwise, their bodies are relatively close to where the car was abandoned.

Once again I send out a call to the universe to bring this episode to a close so the victims' families can get some measure of peace.

One only has to look at the photos of Chynna Deese, Lucas Fowler, and Leonard Dyck to know: these are good people. Their lives mattered. They knew love.

I was just kind of trying to say there is no possible way IMO the murders took place before dark because they had more than enough opportunities to have assistance getting it off the road further, until it became quite late, as there is constant traffic and everyone stops to offer help.

July 14
Circa 8:00pm - Trevor Pierre, road worker/medic, saw LF and CD stopped on the side of the highway.

Later, circa 11:30pm, TP's boss, Alandra Hull, was returning to her work camp and saw a bearded man confronting the couple. They were standing next to the van and he was standing in the middle of the highway. His grey car was parked down the road facing south. She said he looked frustrated. She saw him walk towards the pair and said they looked bothered. She subsequently gave a statement to the police and worked with a sketch artist to provide a composite of the man.

So it seems they were murdered after 11:30pm.

... Or, they boated to Port Nelson/York Factory. The Churchill, or York way (east) gives them the ability to keep going down Hudson Bay towards Ontario.

This scenerio is probably not possible. They'd need to steal a boat that could handle the big water of Hudson Bay. And they'd need fuel, lots of it. There are some communities along the Hudson Bay coast, but they are few and far between. The distance from Churchill MB to Moosonee ON where they could board a train heading south into Ontario, is about 1200 kms.

Well I've got to 4% battery left. It's 3:30 in the morning and I have to get up in a couple hours to start a really busy day. when I wake up in the morning I hope you web sleuth have this all solved and them two young men are sitting in jail.

Well said. I'm sure the north-eastern communities in Manitoba feel the same way!

Anyone have the photo of BS in his Nazi regalia holding what I believe to be the pellet gun mentioned by his father?

I haven't seen an image of him wearing his Nazi armband, but he has the gun here.

just had a thought.
RAV was burned..... BUT.. maybe it was torched by someone random- teenagers looking for fun- it was close to a populated area- it is summer and many teens are joyriding at night- perhaps they stopped- and burned it
suspects- maybe had a ride and left the rav behind unburnt to not bring attention to where they were.
why the heck would suspects burn the rav??
makes no sense
they would know the car burning would bring le
HECK
let's include the camper in this suggestion too
maybe suspects didnt burn the camper
maybe someone else saw it- stole the fiberglass top and torched the truck
suspects might have ditched the camper due to engine problems and then stole the rav

For the record: There is an RCMP police detachment at Dease Lake, it goes up to the border where Watson Lake is. Watson Lake also has a detachment but that is in the Yukon, not British Columbia. The Liard Hot Springs area jurisdiction is under the area coverage for Fort Nelson detachment. Two different detachments were handling the two different locations of the murders. Also in reference to the woman who drive by saying Chynna 'waved' with a full vehicle who couldn't stop that a way lot of people are talking about here. My recollection is her husband was in a separate vehicle and all was fine at that time with Chynna and Lucas.

Maybe the Presa Canario crossed with a German Shepherd.

I’d have my doubts on that given that the Canary Mastiff is actually prohibited in some countries and is considered a relatively selectively bred canine. I can’t see any respectable professional or enthusiast diluting the breed - not only due to the breed itself but the lack of availability of the breed in an entire state of being (not neutered/spayed)

Now I've gone back to try and find out where those photos came from. Best I can find is the media reporting that they came from an anonymous person who played video games with BS and the photos were sent to them.
This is probably going to be an unpopular among some here but my thoughts.....Bitter gamer maybe? Saw him on the news and already had the photo of him in airsoft gear, combined a photo of their Own armband and shot it off to the media.
Just thoughts.

Right but that photo did not come from LE. It's not like it is a crime scene photo or something. It's just something some person sent to some news outlet.

Hmm, I see that on map. Maybe they had help, and were able to stowaway, far-fetched I know. Or, they have tried to hide out in miner/trappers cabins, avoided the trappers lines, or are already dead.

If we relied on LE, there would be virtually no images at all. Suffice to say it was his armband. We're allowed to post images from MSM, and that's where this came from.
