What assurance will the public have that the police have solved the 2 murders?
in the US, in a similar situation, victims might bring civil suits against the killers' estates, FWIW.

Maybe he was reading political stuff from the Nazi era and that was influencing him - stuff written 80-100 years ago. I can imagine writers of that time period "spoke of politics" to each other. Archaic and yeah, totally creepy.
That could be! It definitely reinforces the idea that he didn't interact well with people. I've wondered if either of them read much and, if so, what they read. I know KM's infamous shirt from the surveillance footage has a Lovecraft reference, but I don't know if he was a fan of that author, though it is reasonable to assume. If BS read antiquated stuff or stuff with bad dialogue or just didn't read much at all, it could definitely influence his manner of speaking.
No, when they announced that they found the bodies people said it was anticlimactic and unsatisfying. A good movie has to have a good ending and I think the general consensus is that people would have liked to have seen them caught, tried, and made to explain themselves.
My further guess is the suspects have been dead a while, otherwise they would have been able to positively ID them immediately upon finding them.
Thank you for saying, what I wanted to say as well! This had to be if not terrifying at least very stressful given how extremely dense the bush was, etc. Thank you to the RCMP for doing whatever needs to be done!I don't think that we can over estimate how difficult the search was for the officers. There were no trails. The terrain was so challenging that the officers couldn't walk shoulder to shoulder as they normally do. Swamps peppered the landscape and they had to be searched too.
But to make it much more difficult, they were searching for two armed murderers. They never knew if they were walking into a trap and would have their heads blown off.
I can't imagine how stressful this was for the searchers.
Officers and prosecutors make sure they have probable cause & the necessary evidence to present to the judge prior to requesting arrest warrants for BS & KM. They would have been charged with the murders of LF & CD where they were arrested. What assurance will the public have that the police have solved the 2 murders?
SBMIt's possible. He was also probably just weird and didn't understand normal social interaction. I was in a "nerd" program in high school and a lot of my classmates and friends had similar oddities. Not the Nazi militia and wanting to kill people part, but odd speech patterns and stuff like that. Most of them grew out of it.
I wonder too. Honestly with how stupid their decisions were, it's hard to imagine them doing much reading on any subject. However they were described as "nerds" and that usually implies reading. I imagine Bryer probably read a lot of history related stuff. Cthulhu is famous enough in pop culture that one doesn't have to read Lovecraft to know about it.

Oh Lord. I had hoped his silence was because someone had convinced him it was in his and Bryer's best interest to stop granting interviews. Looks like he stopped because an outlet had an exclusive.Canada’s most wanted teen killers have been found dead. If you are Canadian, you know as well as I do that there is zero prospect of the question of the death penalty being reopened. That is nowhere close to a controversial statement.
This site is about a murder, not an opportunity for you to find excuses to attack a government you disagree with, including dragging the Prime Minister into your attacks, and the RCMP in the bargain, despite your regular attempts to do both.
Sorry moderator, but I can only ignore what is plainly happening so long. This person is regularly pushing political buttons.
Ya. They seem to be milking it, and he's a pathetic participant. I know what their motivation is. Question is: what has been his all along?Oh no, AS again ?
I posted a while ago not believing they were the murderers, I still haven't changed my opinion on it. This case has been very strange right from the beginning.
The parts of the case that bother me: What tied them to the murders? What type of gun was used to kill the three victims? If they were able to trace the movements of Bryer and Kam, why no gas station footage?
We instead got images of them for almost a week that were snapshots of video taken of them at a Co-Op store in Saskatchewan, footage that was not from a security camera (there are none in front of the store, below eye level). Someone was watching them before they were announced as suspects, because that video must have been taken from a car parked in front of the entrance, and would have been on July 21st, a day or so before they were announced as suspects.
Then their alleged second vehicle, the RAV4 (no explanation who it belonged to, and no images of them actually driving it, or getting in our out of it) was found in the bush, torched. No real reason to torch either of the vehicles (except maybe to hide the fact that they weren't the only ones in those vehicles?).
And then somehow, after a hard search for their whereabouts, and then scaling it all back, the police just managed to stumble across some new evidence right before finding their bodies. Like finding a needle in a haystack, and they just managed to do it without much effort.
We have been made to believe through the media coverage that these guys were probably on a thrill kill, and yet their murder spree started and ended in one small area. And they didn't gloat anywhere online about, nor did they seemed to be bothered to walk around without disguises into a store (and gas stations) with security cameras.
Now that they have been found deceased, I am concerned this case will just be closed, the murders pinned on them, and there won't be any concrete evidence shared with the public to show they did it, like you would get in a court of law.
My alternative theory: They weren't alone, whoever was with them was probably responsible for the murders. They or their contacts were the ones who recorded them walking out of the store, and arranged for the torching of the vehicles to leave a trail of evidence pointing to these two guys. And then hushed them up in those woods, perhaps waited a couple of weeks to make sure the weather worked on the evidence to give a tip as to where their bodies were located. I know that sounds crazy, but framing someone for murder isn't exactly new.

That pic of BS is not from the store. It was the pic that has been circulating since he was considered missing. Ditto for that pic of KM. He's just wearing the same camo. I get the impression he really liked it and was photographed in it often. I don't see this as a conspiracy. Here's what I am talking about why this case does not make sense. This news article is from July 21st. The day that Kam and Bryer were spotted at the Co-op as we were told later in the week. Notice something strange - the photo of Bryer is a screenshot of that video footage of him leaving the store. How did the RCMP get their hands on that so quickly?

Question for our Canadians. This may have been answered, but I don't remember seeing it. After the autopsy is done, do you think the autopsy report will be made available in its entirety or, if they do release anything, it will just be a very short, to-the-point cause of death and estimated date of death? I'm used to reading entire autopsy reports for American cases but am not sure that would be SOP for Canada.
