Isn't there cameras on or around the ferries?
I'm sure before they were suspects that RCMP asked the parents what time they left. They would have a estimated time it'd take to get to the ferry, so they could pinpoint a possible time.Yes, I suppose they could look but a bit like a needle in a haystack and I wonder how long they keep the recordings? They apparently installed hundreds of cameras just before the 2010 Winter Olympics, not sure if they are all still active. There are the traffic cams too that could be reviewed: Webcams at our Major Terminals | BC Ferries - British Columbia Ferry Services Inc..
Re: pork chops and orange peels - I always thought it sounded like they were from a take out order or a doggie bag they had picked up somewhere. You can get that sort of stuff in the deli section of most grocery stores. They may have snacked on them before leaving the burning RAV4, knowing they wouldn't be eating well for a while. I think there were orange peels, too, so they were obviously being "leisurely" about it if it was a snack. JMO
That looks more like rust on a car part to me. JMO.the photo of the orange peels? Orange slice rings placed neatly over what appears to be a pop can.
That could almost be the RCMP and LE in general's motto, we find needles in haystacks. If they are digital cameras, the cost of keeping recordings is almost nothing, so, let's hope there are no glitches.Yes, I suppose they could look but a bit like a needle in a haystack and I wonder how long they keep the recordings? I believe they will have camera footage, the ferry terminals are full of camera's. Spotting the truck would be pretty simple. It's possible they also have footage of licence plates.possibly dumb Q- will the RCMP know which ferry they took because there will be records?
I agree, I think they may have hit up a steak house or some random grocery store deli in Thompson. There's not many options after that. Also, did you see the photo of the orange peels? Orange slice rings placed neatly over what appears to be a pop can.
SBMIt’s the speed with which it happened, and all the black holes in knowledge. And with the suspects deceased, the videos, etc... it is like something straight out of the mind of David Lynch.
It seems he would have given BS whatever he could, like he was being a friend or the cool dad Imo. He is the one who bought that air soft rifle. Was he unaware that his son threatened to cut off a classmates head? Did he buy the air soft after the threat? Who does that?!

No they will not, you can catch a variety of ferries on/off the island without records. They could check credit card records but you can also pay cash.
I have read, not sure where now that it was Bryer's mother who left town. Kam's dad jointly owns a business (which I won't list the name of it here, but is not too hard to find) and has a lot of space on his property which is far weighs out of the city core so keeping a distance is a lot easier.

Not to fixate on your posts specifically but...
AS seems Imo to have had some kind of idea of something. He already had his book in the works and his quote about a "blaze of glory" is telling. Again MOO.
This comment came after learning the two were named as murder suspects on July 24th.
He was also interviewed 2 days prior while the 2 were known to be missing and gives no indication he was aware of untoward actions whatsoever. Just ordinary kids....very different from the “blaze of glory” interview.

That's what it looks like to me too. It's the same colour as the rust on the can...which I don't think is a drink can either although I have no idea what it is. It looks like it has a hinge on the can to me, with some sort of metal bar between the lid and the can base.
I would think different types of metal react differently to fire so I'm not thinking orange peel at all.
