For him, I think it is part of his overall fantasy.No. In Bryer's case it is a lot of other thing put together.
Fantasy is an important element in many crimes like this.

Others say it was NOT the RCMP and I tend to agree, especially as the article states RCMP don't carry weapons, which is absolutely incorrect!I don't think the vehicle was reported stolen at that point.
But yeah, it's pretty standard to check your license **and registration**. So how come that wasn't done?
I'm wondering if this person was actual RCMP. Do they give interviews like this? Seems very unlikely.
The RCMP may be wrong (it's happened before, and their recent history/performance is not stellar). And there may well be another murderer (s) involved, I don't know. My be is that the RCMP doesn't know either.
I do believe that they should not be convicted and pronounced guilty before being captured and put on trial.
I agree, camo is a very popular wardrobe choice in this country.
That being siad, he looks like he has real military gear, so he either stole it or went to an army surplus shop. Not exactly the real tree kind...
Give us some scenarios.... why are they are torching vehicles and running/hiding?The RCMP may be wrong (it's happened before, and their recent history/performance is not stellar). And there may well be another murderer (s) involved, I don't know. My be is that the RCMP doesn't know either.

Being that the ClanBear said that one of the 2 skinny and tall men at the dump was wearing camouflage and that they quickly departed, I really, really thought it must be the 2 wanted men! I mean, its a pretty isolated and quiet area, and residents probably aren't wandering around the dump, considering what's going on! Perhaps it still was the 2 wanted men, and they have been able to elude LE?! This is insane! That's my understanding - that they cleared the area, and the suspects are not there and there is no evidence that they were there.
Although the RCMP haven’t left York Landing so I’m thinking the inability to confirm the sighting is not quite the same as cleared the area.

After a thorough & exhaustive search, #rcmpmb has not been able to substantiate the tip in York Landing. RCMP resources will continue to be in the York Landing & Gillam areas. We thank the community for their patience & understanding & ask them to continue to be vigilant.
I’m pretty sure everyone is aware of that fact.
They are entitled to a trial by a court.
We are free to judge them in the court of public opinion.
I’m under no illusion that the RCMP is chasing around two innocent men.
Mine wear flannel pajama pants and switch to cotton pajama pants in the summer.Plaid, of course!!Mine has half nude people.

So wearing camo shows a proclivity to a life of violence????

Seems like LE could use Mantracker and other horsemen/women about now!
You forgot the flip-flop shoes on all the women and kids.................mooMine wear flannel pajama pants and switch to cotton pajama pants in the summer.Plaid, of course!!
wow. let's just not even bother with a trial; let's just kill them outright........
Mantracker is a TV show. And as such what he does is for TV viewing only. I doubt that he's any better than the Canadian military or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and all the gear and equipment that they have. That has been suggested on Twitter and an Oak Bay Police officer is a bit touchy about the suggestion.

A couple of things: 1. Do they or do they not have a gun. 2. If so, do they still have it? 3. If they never had a gun, were the victims murdered by gunshot? 4. How did the back window of the adventurers van get blown out? Are any of the following possible answers to those questions? 1. Yes, they had that pellet gun gift from Dad, suitable for playing games in the woods, not suitable for a carrying out a murder spree. 2. If they still had any gun, why wouldn't the constabulary find some evidence in the bush - animal or bird carcass, shell casings, something and, assuming the Winnipeg Wolf Clan sighting at the dump really was the fugitives would they run away or stand their ground for more murdering. They would be in desperate need of transportation and the Clan scouts had a truck. 3. Police reports say the adventurers died by "gun violence". I don't know exactly what that means. I suppose there are several possible interpretations, including accidental firearm discharge. But whose gun or guns were involved? How about that guy who seemed to be arguing with the couple? I haven't read that he has been discounted as a suspect. Could it have been his gun? How about the couple themselves. According to the early report at Woman saw man in heated exchange with slain tourist couple Fowler had been in Canada for several months. This would have been ample time for him to acquire a properly registered rifle in Canada for adventure travel into the northlands and possible confrontation with bears, etc. and finally 4. The window in the van was reportedly blown out from within, and that is baffling but very interesting. Night. Pitch black. Couple sleeping in their van. Racket outside awakens them. Something trying to haul open the van doors! Bear! Lucas grabs his rifle and shoots blindly through the window! But it's not a bear. It's ????? someone as yet unidentified. So many questions. So many possibilities. I hope they are finally answered correctly and the families of those poor victims of such senseless violence can find peace. All my opinion, of course. You could be correct. The road worker/paramedic that secured the Deese/Fowler scene mentioned a small wound on abdomen of Fowler. Had it been a close range encounter with a larger caliber weapon you would think the would be described differently. MOO
Who has said that?We don't know that they torched their vehicle. They may well have murdered someone, with or without others being involved. Or maybe they accidently killed someone and are running because they are scared. aybe they will be found NCR as has been discussed. I have no idea. But let's agree that folks should not be posting that they should just be shot, or fed to the bears!
