How much has Scott even seen her? Does he have TV or video or internet or newspapers on death row? Has he seen her strut? I can't imagine he's had much exposure - or maybe I don't understand death row...

He can have a TV (local stations only) and radio in his cell until he is on death watch, once the execution date is set he goes on death watch, then the TV and radio are placed outside his cell, he'll continue to have access to magazines and news papers. And a few books in his cell.

All of his time is spent alone, meals are taken in his cell, when he goes out to exercise he's in an empty yard or room. When he walks in the hall he has 3 guards and any prisoner they walk past has to put their hands on the wall and face away. The only interaction he gets is with guards, or through other death row inmates who talk via yelling to each other while locked in their cells.
He can have visitors 3 times/week x 1 hour, atty 6 hours/week.

Scotty can shower 3x/wk, exercise 5 hours/day and he gets 3 meals/day.

Of course JB says it ain't so. He claims to be monitoring all her mail and says he never saw it.

I mentioned this yesterday...there is a text message from LA to CA about JB having a letter from KC, but not to mention that to anyone...that mysterious letter that they all denied.....I also question when Baez says no more press releases what that means to him???? or even Black? neither seems to adheare to it...
I'm quite sure that if KC gives her lawyer a letter that it is covered under client/attorney priveledge so they may well be communicating through him. On a separate note however, the article about SP writing to KC says that the contents of his communications are not made available to the public. So I am questioning through what means might he be communicating with her???

Just when you think you have heard it all, now Scott Peterson is writing KC. Well, they have something in common, they both had no regard for their children. As the saying goes "Two peas in a pod".

This time it's two cons in a pen...

What he meant to say was he would not be calling anymore PC's with a tearful KC at his side. Not that he wouldn't continue defending her every time her name shows up in the news.

Am I invisible? Gosh, I don't think I've EVER had a response from any of my posts in quite some time.

I'm beginning to feel very lonely :(

know the feeling, so now, I just read.

I think this is awesome news, lol. I'd love to see how two sociopaths go about convincing one another of their innocence...He probably saw her on tv, thought she was hot and was just the type of girl he was looking for...

Found this:

Anthony seems to display the same kind of misguided self-confidence or narcissism that was evident in Scott Peterson. Peterson (and it seems Anthony) was a bad liar because his lack of empathy also meant he lacked sensitivity to how others would judge his tall tales. It may well be the case that Anthony, too, has trouble telling convincing lies because she can’t intuit how her audience–whether police or a jury–will “hear” them (whether they will ring true).

Here: http://health.blogs.foxnews.com/2008/10/22/dr-keith-inside-the-mind-of-casey-anthony/

Good article April.

Could this be why she just keeps her mouth shut all the time? That has really bugged me about her, I have two daughters plus two of their friends who have lived with us, into their early twenties. They never shut up. No one can get a word in edgewise around them. But how often do we even hear KC's voice? At times I wanted to scream at the tv, say something in your own defense, plead for your daughter's return. Just stop that vacant stare!!

Maybe JB's smarter than we've given him credit for?

I'm not sure if this has already been posted- there were some questions yesterday about medical/mental health care availibility.

The jail system is pretty large. On average, 4200 inmates per day, third largest jail in Florida. Medical, mental health care, dental, x-rays, dialysis, and pharmacy all available on site. The inmates housed in the single person cells in the acute mental health unit go through a continous period of evaluation. This area look like the news clips about where KC is housed.

THank you for posting this - it was informative. I wonder if that big glass wall in the photo is the same as KC's cell. Sounds like a world class facility (funny thing to say about a jail!)

Lacey, all of this is funny because when I saw your answer to my post I was going to ask if you remembered Paris Hilton's incarceration! Twin Towers is still a "jail" it just has a ward that is a little closer to being confined to a hospital and all the hospital amenities.

I didn't follow all the posts out but I guess you got the answer to your question. Unless she's found not guilty, or guilty of some lessor charge; she's never going home again.

So I guess all this means that Paris is not only famous for being famous but now she's found fame in her own right too. All because of scratchy sheets and thin blankets!:boohoo:

Yes, I did get an answer to my question. I am just trying to get a feel for the entire jail thing (from a distance, thank you!)

LOL- I left the thread so I'd shut up. The whole mental health and criminal element issue is something I feel very strongly about. I have a hard time with my mouth (I guess here that would be my fingers though, huh?). When I see misinformation about mental illness I can't help myself- I have to try to correct it for stigma's sake. I am sorry that I do it, I know it's annoying but I can't stop myself! I am working on fixing that about myself.

OneLostGirl, you have cleared up a lot of things for me, so don't go away too much!:)
