Wouldn't Baez have done a "sweep" for surveillance inside the house already? I would think it would be his first plan of action upon her release. At least, know where the bugs are to avoid them.

I guess I don't get the boat thing. So Baez was on a boat this morning? I don't see that as strange for some reason. He may live on a waterway and it is the quickest way to get from point A to point B. Lots of people do that.

From what we know - Baez lives in Kissimmee or Oveido or somewhere in the vicinty of Orlando. Orlando is pretty much in the middle of the state. Takes a while to get to either coast from there. Not really a "boating" community - or at least an "ocean going" boating community. They have a lote of lakes and such in Orlando - but that looked to me as if they were in the ocean. Just a very curious observation - that's all.

Don't forget, when you think "boat," that Orlando is in central Florida. And factor in Fay. Not good weather for boating!

I think anytime you have 30 plus inches of rain it becomes good boating weather.

The boat was most likely just a way to avoid the intrusion of other media. It would be hard for any of them to follow along and interfere or to get in their own shouted questions like they would if they could wait outside another location. They have land vehicles already available to them, but to rent boats on short notice with a tropical storm in the area would make it quite difficult.

Yeah you are right... I tend to forget about water sometimes, being I am in the desert of Vegas! DUHHH...

I think Baez is pounding it into her head not to talk to anyone now that she is home. Not even her parents. He is probably telling her they have nothing on her and as long as she keeps her mouth shut and gives out no other info she will probably go free. He is plotting his strategy with her. He knows LE has nothing on her and can't arrest her for further things. I believe he will push for a quick trial. Once this goes to trial they cannot arrest her for further crimes. \

You know, I thought the very same thing!
WTH can they have to discuss today? They had the late night 2 &1/2 hr meeting the other night, she's been in jail for over a month and just home for 24 hours and they're having a meeting, again??? Give me a break!

This is the most frustrating ridiculous case I've ever followed!

JMO but I ain't buying that one - not for a minute. The media is very careful as to the "spins" they take us sheeple public on. No. - No little cruise. I do believe Geraldo is the NY big journalist tho. They were headed somewhere. Its just funny that they take a boat that takes so much longer. But - again, media has a hard time "following and filming" when one ventures out into the Atlantic. Interesting spin this has taken today.

Yes, it does sound fishy doesnt it? I just remember them (talking heads) teasing him about not wearing a shirt and how they had never been invited on his boat. I agree with you that Geraldo is the "hook up" between BH and Jose. Geraldo probably offered to help if Jose get her out if he would give him an exclusive or something like that. jmo

Everyone and their brother has a boat here in orlando. Daytona, cocoa and new smyrna are only about an hour at most. But yes, we have tons of ski lakes.

GOOD CATCH!!!!!!!! Off shore waters here all up and down the coast have horendous conditions right now. Notice the sun and "flat" water. Where were they? hhhhhmmmm........ Our boats here in Laud. haven't ventured out in quite a few days - both pleasure and business - not to say that I haven't seen boats coming and going in the past week. Interesting - would love to know where they were!!!!!!

You know as a mother and as a grandmother myself I am so disappointed in Cindy. Especially she is/was the primary caregiver of Caylee. I battle between who I am more angry with Casey or Cindy.

I don't know if this question has been raised yet or not, but I want to know why Casey is not being charged with something like "withholding evidence?" The family spokesman says that she is helping out and giving leads, but NOT to LE.....so since it's an open investigation, isn't there something they can charge her with since she is not giving them info? I know she can take the 5th and not talk to LE at all, as she has done, but she is openly talking to others about what she "says" she knows...

Baez and his wife were guests of Geraldo (I assume staying at his home??) and that is Geraldo's boat they are on!!!!!

From what I understood, the interview and the boat ride happened recently but not today. Baez was in NY, remember right before LP was totally injected into this case and this most likely happened then. Geraldo probably waited until his show was coming on to release the video so he could try and grab some more viewers to watch his show.......... All about Casey, All about the GPs, All about LP, now All about GR! Blech!
