I defend the Anthonys all the time and my heart breaks for them BUT Casey has no say as a mother right now, her jig is up, even if Caylee came home tomorrow she wouldn't have custody

That's true, it's unlikely that Caylee would be returned to Casey under any circumstances, but do George and Cindy realize that?

I have the definite impression that Tony is not at all happy with Casey. He spoke with LE on the very first day of the investigation, and it's stated in the affidavit that he called Amy and urged her to call LE too. His statement about Casey not being the least concerned about Caylee during the time in question, is just one more indication that he's angry.

The WESH article said the relationship between TonE & Casey was unstable. IF there was a relationship for more than just sex I'm guessing it was unstable because he saw what a mooch she was and how needy she was.

An observation:

I see that high school graduates Lee & Casey are quite intelligent & articulate. As George is ex-LE, could Casey have been following missing persons cases?

Casey is not a highschool graduate, she dropped out. I think that in her own circles she may be considered street saavy, and could have some natural aptitude, but as far as being educated, I think that she falls far from that mark.

George and Cindy have not been found to be unfit. It's apparent to me that they love Caylee with every fiber of their being and they've provided a good home for her since the day she was born. I see no reason why they would not get custody.

I agree with you, they have provided a home for this child, but a parent is judged very harshly in times of emergencys or crisis........and they both have failed in this area. There actions suggest that they worry now more for there daughter than there grandchild. I would not leave a cabbage patch doll with them

This would be determined by the courts and if they ever discover who Caylee's father is and if they filed a claim/case later on. All facts are not out nor are they in. LE tells us minimal info. Who actually knows whats going on behind the scenes, regardless of what the media has provided thus far. IMO

They just mentioned on Greta that she is separated from the rest of the jail population - that probably has been said before, but I missed it. WTH don't they release her into the general population and see if we start getting some results out of the pampered little "high profile" inmate???? :furious:

It is so frustrating that LE is staying so tight lipped and it totally frustrates me BUT I totally respect the fact that they are. In so many cases loose lips sink ships and evidence gets thrown out etc. So while it ticks us all off not to know I honestly think in the end we will be saying THANK GOODNESS. I honestly feel like the integrity of this case depends on them keeping a lot of stuff out of the public eye..I guess we shall see!

Personally, I think the very detailed phone records & all the dna results will tell LE all they need to know to charge Casey with Caylee's death.

They'll know EVERYONE she spoke to & EVERYWHERE she was.... the records won't lie like Casey does.

Sex can only go so far.....having a batty chick in your home is not worth it. If the profile of her is right, she was clingy with him, wanted to move in right away, wanted to start a "life" with him. Telling all his friends that she was in love.

The Police can not demand anything from Casey, they aren't even allowed to talk to her. She has an attorney.
They are keeping the info private so Baez can't get a head start on the defense.

Does an attorney have a right to keep LE from talking to a defendant? I thought she had the right not to answer, but didn't realize LE didn't even have the right to ask questions.

This has been an ongoing problem with the Anthony's, in their despair of finding Caylee. First is was Casey providing all the code info. Now its coming from who knows where? Its very apparent, the Anthony's still stand firm on the story that Caylee was given to a sitter/nanny on the 9th of June, who then betrayed Casey but she was still safe. Now its Caylee may or may not be with the same nanny and is being held against her will and she is no longer safe. Question, where are they coming up with these theories? The last we heard per Cindy via Casey. Caylee was in danger immediately during the cryptic DNA info release, then all lines of communication were cut off via Casey per Atty. Baez as a council/request.

Right now on Greta, it's being said that Baez is requesting Casey not see family because visits are recorded and that would put Caylee in danger? What??? None of this makes any sense! Didn't Casey say Caylee was "safe & close by"?

Ok, I'm just throwing this out there... does anyone believe that Caylee may have eaten some of mommy's "Candy" (Zanax) while Casey was sleeping and she woke up to a deceased child and did not know what to do. So she drives around with Caylee's body in the trunk until she can figure out what to do next ... possibly bury or dump Caylee's body..

Just a thought I had...

You can't fix stupid :bang: But it appears to me that they are for sure not telling the truth, at least to the public. What they say to LE is a different matter. But I think they have already hung themselves many times over.

I still think that they are playing "the game". George cannot possibly be an ex law enforcement officer and be so dang stupid..nope I'm not going for it. As soon as Cindy opened her mouth in the very beginning I thought nope they are acting. My FIL is an ex homicide detective in DC- the murder capital of the world..he thinks George is an excellent actor as do I.

If he isn't acting then maybe he is hitting the Xanax as well lol.

THey would be allowed to question her in the presence of her lawyer. He could advise her on whether or not to answer certain questions. LE has said that they are making themselves available, which to me says that they are waiting for her to come to them.

How could a relationship be considered stable after only a few weeks. Those kids should have been going to a movie and sucking face in the back row, not hitting the clubs, grinding and shacking up. Christ!

That is correct IMO, but apparently this is a hightened level and a remake of free love. Peace bro

I think the official reports might not be in hand yet, but that they're probably getting updates from the lab and already know most, if not all, the test results.

I envision LE doing all sorts of things behind the scenes. Tracking down places Casey made purchases with her mom's card, trying to get surveillance tapes for those dates from those places; triangulating (if that's the right word) the cell phone calls to see where she was and when; combing the computer for clues, etc. I think there's a lot more forensic evidence than we've been privy to as well.

I have no doubt they're working it and working it hard and will put all the pieces together. Even if Caylee can't be found and even if Casey never speaks, there will be enough solid circumstantial evidence to build a strong case against her.

The truth is gonna come out one way or the other, whether Miss Casey Anthony likes it or not. She'd serve herself well to cooperate and beg for mercy before they've done all the work and no longer need her cooperation.

good point and they could check to see if she purchased anything suspicious to get rid of a body
