When did JI arrive home? If DB was checking her phone at 3'ish AM She was not totally blacked out! She may have still been a bit drunk but she would have had some recollection of the phone calls!

If you have a black out, you are well aware you had a black out. She was just throwing that out there .... along with a bunch of other malarky such as drunk, passed out, etc.

If she had a black out, she would not recall anything that occurred during it. It is amnesia and you only know what you did during the time if somebody tells you. You definitely know if you had one because when you come to your senses, things are usually very different...you may even be across town and have no idea how or when you got there. You may be in different clothes.

She knows what a black out is. She may not want to admit to it (can't blame her). Did she have one? I bet we will never know.

Voice mailboxes also provided a safe phone number for phreaks to give out to one another as home phone numbers would allow the phreak's identity (and home address) to be discovered. This was especially important given that phone phreaks were breaking the law.

Ok you must have a phone hacker or phreaker in this neighborhood/area. They use the voice mail to bridge together like walkie talkies? Help me understand what I am even reading.

I can't recall ever hearing a confirmed time of Jeremy's arrival home. He immediately runs to the neighbor's home. Is this Samantha? Did she go back to the Irwin house with him when this happened? I bet she did. I know I would. Was she there when LE arrived?

BBM

No, I don't think she did. Her 4 yr old was asleep. And I bet she would not have left her alone after hearing a child next door had been kidnapped earlier that night. IMOO

Post #300 this thread. Last post of previous page...is a wealth of information of cell phones. I am so far behind in technology that I am handicapped. It is embarrassing to say when you live in Silicon Valley.

I wanted to post this picture again, first because Lisa is such a beautiful baby, and second for our Verizon phone people to have a look at the reflection of DB in the glass and what I believe is some type of droid phone that she is using to take the picture. Can anyone determine what type that might be?

I do not know of any digital cameras that shape or thinness so I really believe that this is DB's phone that was being used to take that picture. And it appears to be a fairly recent picture of Lisa.

Could be the Droid 3 by Motorola: http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?&item=phoneFirst&action=viewPhoneDetail&selectedPhoneId=5676

The top slides open to show the keyboard. Press "Alt View" under the pic and it shows it opened.

JI returned home roughly 5-15 minutes before 4 a.m. Police have declined to release the 911 call or dash-cam video. He went to SB's home. We don't know what she did after that. Her husband told CNN that she called him at 5:59 a.m. to say Lisa had been kidnapped.

She may have drunkenly checked her phone at about 3am...but isn't that almost the same time that Dad arrived home and she jumped out of bed???
Something does not add up!
It is odd to me that she would not remember the phone calls but DID remember every detail after noticing the baby missing!

We have Verizon as our service provider. My phone indicates when I have a voicemail and I have to select yes/no to hear it or wait until later. Phone came pre-set with voicemail as number 1 on my speed dial. So all I have to do is hit 1 and "send" and it connects me to vm. I always have to input my password. I didn't want one but it seems to be a requirement for Verizon.

But I just now input *86 and it went to my vm and asked me to input my password. Then it told me I had two old (saved) messages. From there I had many choices ~ one of which was to change my personal options. Thieves might be looking to change the password, etc. But they wouldn't be able to get this far without having the original password first. :waitasec:

So, anyone have a guess about how the thieves would have known that the phones were contracted to Verizon rather than any other provider? :dunno: (If they had first attempted to input another provider's codes ~ would they have shown up on the phone records?)

This is what I was trying to get at in my PP. apparently there is a hack code that thieves can use to get around the password. . .then they're in where they can change it.

I really don't know what to think.

Okay wow, This is really weird. My 19 yr old DD was visiting home yesterday and she was sitting at the table erasing a bunch of voicemails from her i-phone. I asked what all of those mails were, and she said SHE HAD AN APP THAT TURNS HER VM INTO A WALKIE_TALKIE. She said they can talk together in real time, like she is using a walkie talkie.

I wonder if LE would be able to retrieve any messages that were left using that app?

I thought it was a great post. Since I'm not a criminal and don't think like one it was very informative as to how one thinks. It also made me think twice about not having password protected vm, think I'll change that! Don't feel bad, I'm no techie either, most of this stuff is new to me!

BBM's

1. All the phones I have had have the service provider's name stamped on them somewhere and when I flip mine open there is a big AT&T on the screen.

2. Yes, I believe it would.

Folks! What are the odds of THE night your hubby works all night, is THE night the baby goes missing and THE night your cell phone makes calls?? Come on!

Well, we have an estimated time of 3:50. I wonder if Jeremy has any long lost relatives residing in Satsuma, FL. Ron Cummings manipulated that arrival time to match up with the 911 call. All details get lost in the frenzy of public outcry.

Jeremy could be telling the absolute truth, but then again.....

What is shocking to me is that so many teen or 20-something parents somehow keep losing their children!
Not just that...somehow they are able to hide their deaths, without being really very clever!
I am stunned!

Just an FYI about the "doubt the attorneys have all the phone records..betting LE seized them immediately".. These "records" are not just a single item seizable and then if "seized" no longer are they available for anyone else to have.. They can be printed out and literally hundreds of thousands of times it they so chose to do. It is "data" that is stored by the cell phone provider for x amount of days, months, or years dependant on which provider.. And it is the "data" that is subpoenaed and can be handed over to LE either on a disc or thousands of pages printed off with each individual piece of dated(including all calls, texts, much media, and ping) itemized and listed one by one time amd date stamped..

Deb or Jeremy or both, strictly depends on who the primary account holder for the cell service plan is.. Have access to every last itemized piece of data from the provider(on disc or in print for extra charge) just as all the rest of us who are the primary account holder of our cell service plan..

Point being LE can and did subpoena these records and "seized" them.. That doesn't mean there's none left.. It is data that is seized and collected and that data is still available for Deb, Jeremy or anyone else that Deb/Jeremy give their consent to have access to their personal cell phone data..
