I agree. So I am trying to figure out a possible scenario. MAYBE, just maybe, someone like Jersey sees his chance to get into the house because the women were outside drunk. So he sneaks in and grabs the 3 phones. Then he tries to call his friends at MW's to see who wants to buy/borrow the stolen phones. He messes around with them some more but cannot get them to work or to go online. But maybe he does eventually make contact with someone.[ he may have gone back to the home he was watering for example, and used their phone.] Maybe he calls someone like Dane, for example, and tells them about the house he just snuck into. And so the next chapter of the break in was done by someone else, somebody who wanted a baby.

Where is this information coming from that LE didn't want him to take a poly? I have never heard of such a thing.

We have been told the pings were very close to the Irwin house so that includes DB as a possibility.

Then again I am not sure how I got that info about the pings being really close. If it came from the attorneys, I have to question which ping, what day, what hour were you speaking of.

My money is on DB or JI dialing out.

From what I remember different media sources stated LE didn't need JI to take a ldt. I don't remember anyone in LE making that comment.

I agree it doesn't make sense. That's because we don't think like a criminal. We aren't homeless without a phone, a car or the uncertainty of where our next meal will come from. JT walked away from a halfway house, had a warrant out for his arrest, and was breaking into cars and homes and living in them. Do any of those things make sense? One neighbor said he watched JT enter another neighbor's home through a window in daylight. We have no idea what he would do or why he would do it.

I don't think homeless or destitute people steal phones or babies.
Why steal 3 phones when his friends were right down the street a ways and some of them had phones?

I don't know anybody who buys phones from homeless people. Wouldn't do any good since phone service is checked and stolen phones are reported. The phones monetarily wise are worthless. moo

I still wonder why it's such a big secret what type of phones we're dealing with here. What is the possible benefit, especially now with phone call and ping records coming out, to keep this information from the public? If one or more of the phones were actually sold, wouldn't it have been more beneficial for LE to ask the public to be on the lookout for someone selling these type of phones? Or at least now that so much time has passed, perhaps they can get some information from someone who has already purchased one of the phones.

Why haven't the lawyers given out this information either? They're telling us everything else, why not the colour and model of phones? They obviously think they are tied to the "kidnapping" so why don't they get a description of the phones out there?

The cell phones ping areas and the type of cell phones are important for one huge reason, Lisa is still missing.

It's possible that whoever took the phones took them specifically for DB!!

Was this somebody you knew? or a total stranger? How can they access your voicemail w/o a security code? And why would they want to? It almost sounds like somebody who was spying on you. What a curious thief!

Nobody can access my vm if they don't have my pin. Doesn't sound like the posters phone was stolen for any reason besides-like you said to spy on her. :waitasec:

She may have drunkenly checked her phone at about 3am...but isn't that almost the same time that Dad arrived home and she jumped out of bed???
Something does not add up!
It is odd to me that she would not remember the phone calls but DID remember every detail after noticing the baby missing!

I don't believe for one minute DB was drunk....drinking yes but not drunk. That was a convenient excuse after LE released that video of her and her brother at the store buying the wine. Also, if she was so drunk she was at the blacking out point, I think LE would have noticed. I know she said she stopped at 10:30 pm and went to bed BUT....from my own experience in my younger days when the hang arounds weren't so bad that on some occasions when I drank entirely too much but had plenty of sleep....I could still be drunk the next morning. I just really don't believe her being that drunk because she sure got sober fast, too fast imo!!

Just an FYI about the "doubt the attorneys have all the phone records..betting LE seized them immediately".. These "records" are not just a single item seizable and then if "seized" no longer are they available for anyone else to have.. They can be printed out and literally hundreds of thousands of times it they so chose to do. It is "data" that is stored by the cell phone provider for x amount of days, months, or years dependant on which provider.. And it is the "data" that is subpoenaed and can be handed over to LE either on a disc or thousands of pages printed off with each individual piece of dated(including all calls, texts, much media, and ping) itemized and listed one by one time amd date stamped..

Deb or Jeremy or both, strictly depends on who the primary account holder for the cell service plan is.. Have access to every last itemized piece of data from the provider(on disc or in print for extra charge) just as all the rest of us who are the primary account holder of our cell service plan..

Point being LE can and did subpoena these records and "seized" them.. That doesn't mean there's none left.. It is data that is seized and collected and that data is still available for Deb, Jeremy or anyone else that Deb/Jeremy give their consent to have access to their personal cell phone data..

Nobody can walk into Verizon or Sprint and get cell phone records and that's a fact. I cannot retrieve or request my own family members records if the family members are over 18.

It doesn't matter if LE seized the cell records or not because that is LE's right.

You cannot give people permission to see your phone records and retrieve them from your cell carrier.

You can get a copy and give that copy to someone but they can't waltz into cell phone companies and get one.

Giving misinformation is what's wrong with much of this case. moo

My daughter has been employed with Sprint for years. I asked her about all this stuff earlier tonight.

Dunno who had it. My phone did not have security code set up so it was easy. None of our phones do. AT&T said it is VERY common for this to happen. They are the ones that looked for that very info when I was calling my phone in.

Not doubting you but the concept. What sense does it make to steal a phone for the soul purpose of listening to someones vm? :waitasec:

Because certain thieves are capable of stealing identity info and financial info from phones these days. They can essentially hack into them and retrieve info that they can use to steal $ from you.

Okay wow, This is really weird. My 19 yr old DD was visiting home yesterday and she was sitting at the table erasing a bunch of voicemails from her i-phone. I asked what all of those mails were, and she said SHE HAD AN APP THAT TURNS HER VM INTO A WALKIE_TALKIE. She said they can talk together in real time, like she is using a walkie talkie.

I wonder if LE would be able to retrieve any messages that were left using that app?

IF this was all done by the Kidnapper then why did the person stop using the phone right about the time 911 was called? Well, we have an estimated time of 3:50. I wonder if Jeremy has any long lost relatives residing in Satsuma, FL. Ron Cummings manipulated that arrival time to match up with the 911 call. All details get lost in the frenzy of public outcry.

Jeremy could be telling the absolute truth, but then again.....

ITA....I would love to hear the 911 call. Especially since JI is so stoic and shows no emotion at all, I wonder if he was excited in the 911 call?!?

Don't LE ask you for the cell phone and they copy the records. They would like to see the texts. I don't think they can get text other then from the phone itself...but could be wrong. At least in the Anthony case it worked like that. They had the time and length of text but not the content unless the witness gave them the phone. Amy kept all of her texts....for months.
