And for this very reason I do not believe Judge Perry will let them stay in the courtroom. There was talk of them setting up a side room for the overflow and this would be a good place for them with their support group only. They can react to their heart's content, no one will be watching. There is no excuse for them lying on the stand but this would give them the privacy they need during this difficult time (both CA and GA admitted this freely on the stand the other day) and it will not be disruptive for the courtroom.
We will see them when they testify but other than that if they can't behave if I were the Judge I'd have that side room all ready for them. He does not have to do that. He could make them sit in the hall. The A's are making their own decisions by their actions. But I really don't think they can help themselves.
Hey, and what do you think of JB asking GA how he would feel about testify against his daughter and would he take the risk and not show up in court (something along those lines as I can't remember JB's exact words)? Well, if JoJo had not thought about it before it sure is in his mind now. So he would consider not showing up for KC but showing up for Caylee would be out of the question. GA can't have it both ways. jmo
LambChop,
Judge Perry is NOT going to tolerate anything at trial. He won't do it. I mean when Cindy put her hands to her face, it is my reaction to that - that she was disturbed by the reference to the odor and George's saying it smelled like death. She was not outrageous.
HAVING said that, George Anthony, has been given a tremendous amount of latitude by the Judge and I would not have given him that much. E.g. when LDB asked him about things for verification purposes, he began answering with Your probably have that right there, yes. And he did it time after time, and he muttered "unbelievable" under his breath.
Now I know Judge Perry at the beginning of Day 2 prefaced court with admonishing anyone from snickering, grimacing, etc.
I don't recall when George did this. I think it was Day one, But on Day 4, he sat in the gallery and at times muttered to himself.
I think Judge Perry will become stricter as time goes on, especially when the evidence is presented and it is going to become very hard for the Anthonys because they don't want to hear it.
The opening statements will be interesting. But the closings are going to be horrific for them.
Perry will make them leave if there is a disruption. He won't tolerate it.
As far as George not showing up, he is going to show up and he is going to testify and he is going to act professionally (after he is admonished several times and threatened -I would not be surprised).
LC, I knew Cindy and George were going to act this way. I have been waiting for them to do this in Court so that Judge Perry would admonish them. George especially. He was ludicrous at the Morgan depositions and seems to feel he can do whatever he wants. Not in a courtroom.
