Cindy is Unbelievable

I am reading Cindy's State Depo

In the Depo she states the last time she saw Casey' Universal ID Lanyard was when LE was at her house Jul6 15/16..

Cindy stated she found the ID 2 months later and she gave it to Baez

When LDB asks Cindy WHERE she found it Cindy states she FOUND the ID tucked in a drawer somewhere
LDB asks WHERE Casey's bedroom? Cindy replies NO. In the Kitchen? Cindy replies she THINKs she found it somewhere in HER bedroom (yet she just said she found it tucked in a drawer somewhere)

Cindy thought it was with the purse/handbag that was in the front seat of the car and assumed LE had it...

Cindy blames LE for taking it but she "forgets" SHE took the lanyard and tucked it away in a drawer in her bedroom..then later on gave it to Baez...

IMO Cindy hid the Universal work ID Lanyard on PURPOSE....because it was old/expired or Fake...if that lanyard could prove Casey currently worked at Universal she would not have hidden it away
:twocents:
. . .and IIRC the lanyard did not belong to Casey (it had someone else's name on it) and Casey explained it away saying everyone always traded their lanyards. I think there are pictures of it somewhere.

My worst case scenario for this trial would be for Casey to somehow commit suicide before being found guilty. GA and CA would have a field day, proclaiming Casey's innocence and they will still be looking for the Nanny and/or Caylee. I want Casey to be found guilty.

Casey is too selfish to committ suicide. Besides, she thinks [Baez] is going to get her off, so why would she kill herself? Too much partying awaits her.

:floorlaugh: Cindy says Casey told her Ricardo was her gay buddy . Casey would talk about Ricardo and his room mate and Cindy thought they were gay.. .now why would Casey LIE to Cindy about having a boyfriend...hmmm

Here's the lanyard photo:

Here's the lanyard photo:
I think that was just a pin (name tag) found on Casey's work bag that was referred to when talking about people always trading. The other ID was on a shamrock lanyard.
I bet CA was playing dumb when she said 'i thought the police already took it'.. She knew darn well there were 2 ID's. She had the lanyard hidden and the name tag was probably an oops.

Here's the lanyard photo:

That is not the lanyard. A lanyard is a strap you wear around your neck and theme parks have a plastic pocket that you put your employee ID in. The picture is a nametag and that is what KC said they would switch out. The bag, IMO, belonged to someone else. She may have borrowed it and not returned it, or............. Not to say she did not borrow the lanyard though.

:blushing: Sorry.

Hey, it's okay. You had us all going there for a minute. Strange though that CA turned the lanyard over to JB when legally the ID belonged to Universal. It was company property. The lanyard itself probably belonged to KC.

That is why I believe it could have been a Fake or stolen ID.
But then again I don't know if she had to hand in her ID when she went on Maternity Leave...I don't remember if it was Casey or someone else s interview at Universal that said she did go back to visit once after Caylee was born...

I would assume sooner or later Universal would required her Work ID to be turned in UNLESS she "claimed" it was Lost or Stolen but kept it instead.

If Baez has this Work ID and lanyard then why has it not been handed over to the SA as discovery?

Thanks ...I don't remember seeing that photo of the Name Tag..hmm Chris..now that could be a Male or Female...Did Casey mention anyone by the name of Chris?

There was a Chris S but I do not know if he worked for Universal.

Yes, here's a good post on it: [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4816385&postcount=177"]Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community - View Single Post - REVISIT Possible Reasons Purse/Work Bag in the Car[/ame]

(I will bump that thread in case anyone wants to review it. . . as I should have before I posted. LOL)

It might be interesting to have a thread called "Cindy's Reactions in Court".

Was watching Baez question Melich and mentioned the trunk and odor in the trunk, and camera goes to CA and George. George looks down and Cindy puts her hands to her face and it is obviously, obviously very hard for her to listen to this.

The only reason I thought it might be interesting to have this is because trial is nearing and there was some posting yesterday on how it doesn't matter if the Anthony's hear the truth or not, they will continue to lie.

I agree they may continue to lie, but after seeing her reaction to that, there is no doubt that she was extremely disturbed by it.

And for this very reason I do not believe Judge Perry will let them stay in the courtroom. There was talk of them setting up a side room for the overflow and this would be a good place for them with their support group only. They can react to their heart's content, no one will be watching. There is no excuse for them lying on the stand but this would give them the privacy they need during this difficult time (both CA and GA admitted this freely on the stand the other day) and it will not be disruptive for the courtroom.

We will see them when they testify but other than that if they can't behave if I were the Judge I'd have that side room all ready for them. He does not have to do that. He could make them sit in the hall. The A's are making their own decisions by their actions. But I really don't think they can help themselves.

Hey, and what do you think of JB asking GA how he would feel about testify against his daughter and would he take the risk and not show up in court (something along those lines as I can't remember JB's exact words)? Well, if JoJo had not thought about it before it sure is in his mind now. So he would consider not showing up for KC but showing up for Caylee would be out of the question. GA can't have it both ways. jmo

LambChop,

Judge Perry is NOT going to tolerate anything at trial. He won't do it. I mean when Cindy put her hands to her face, it is my reaction to that - that she was disturbed by the reference to the odor and George's saying it smelled like death. She was not outrageous.

HAVING said that, George Anthony, has been given a tremendous amount of latitude by the Judge and I would not have given him that much. E.g. when LDB asked him about things for verification purposes, he began answering with Your probably have that right there, yes. And he did it time after time, and he muttered "unbelievable" under his breath.

Now I know Judge Perry at the beginning of Day 2 prefaced court with admonishing anyone from snickering, grimacing, etc.

I don't recall when George did this. I think it was Day one, But on Day 4, he sat in the gallery and at times muttered to himself.

I think Judge Perry will become stricter as time goes on, especially when the evidence is presented and it is going to become very hard for the Anthonys because they don't want to hear it.

The opening statements will be interesting. But the closings are going to be horrific for them.

Perry will make them leave if there is a disruption. He won't tolerate it.

As far as George not showing up, he is going to show up and he is going to testify and he is going to act professionally (after he is admonished several times and threatened -I would not be surprised).

LC, I knew Cindy and George were going to act this way. I have been waiting for them to do this in Court so that Judge Perry would admonish them. George especially. He was ludicrous at the Morgan depositions and seems to feel he can do whatever he wants. Not in a courtroom.

And in the same respect if HHJP does not stop their disruptive behavior such as GA snickering (which he did do), shaking his head and their discussions which were overheard "I did not say that" they will not make it to the trial. Remember if Judge Perry does not have control of the court room it is a reflection on him personally. He rules and I believe he is giving them enough rope to hang themselves.

That being said, it's been almost three years and the A's show less respect for the court then they did in the bond hearing. That they will not be told what to do and can't stop themselves from making comments during the sessions. CA by herself has done well but the minute she gets with GA out come the antics.

Whatever decision HHJP makes, I'm sure it will have been well thought out and because he realizes the A's can't be controlled and prevented from acting out. jmo

I just checked. George is on the stand on Monday and he gets into an "amber alert" altercation with LDB and Judge Perry does tell him to listen and then "be quiet" after George says "you opened the door".

LC, Perry will take so much and then he is going to seriously reprimand George. He will not let them disrupt this trial. He has already told counsel if you are not respectful, you do not want to see what I will do and I am assuming he means sanctions.

George and Cindy do not seem to get it through their very small brains that the Judge is serious. George thinks he is at a lawfirm; he is not respecting the court. But he will by the time this trial gets underway or he will pay the consequences. Perry won't put up with it. Perry cares about justice and making it work and if he feels George or Cindy are interfering with their ANTICS, he will make sure they understand.

He had no trouble telling George to "be quiet".

They will be respectful or he will make sure they are. He will recess the court and call them into chambers and I would imagine that he would very harshly tell them do not disrupt my courtroom ever again.

They will get the message.

Solace when George told LDB that "you opened the door" regarding the Amber Alert, wasn't it George who brought up this subject in the first place? I don't recall LDB mentioning an Amber Alert, it was GEORGE that brought it up then tried to blame it on LDB! I thought that was a really stupid remark on George's behalf....blaming, blaming, blaming! That's all the Anthony's know how to do....blame someone else!!!!! :furious:

Sorry, usually lurking as you all are so smart and I usually don't have anything to offer, but I used to work for a vendor at Universal. I reported to work there as if I was an employee of Universal, as ICA would have done when working for the photo company. She would not have had to return her I.D. They would have just deactivated it. They have magnetic strips on them. It is very possible she could have had more than one in her name. Also, it would be obvious when looking at it, that she was working for a vendor. They are slightly different than an actual Universal employee's I.D. and they would show the name of the actual company she worked for.

FWIW - now I'll slink back to lurking :)

I asked this question on the thread about the work bag so maybe someone here can tell me. What was the story about someone named Chris on the bag and Casey's explanation for that.

Also wasn't there some type of shamrock they accused LE of taking?

ETA: nevermind I see the pic.
