I haven't read any of the recent posts on this thread. But a thought popped in my head a minute or so ago ....

CA is trying desperately to get Casey to walk on these charges. In her heart of hearts she must know that Casey murdered Caylee. What on Earth does Cindy think Casey would be like if she were to go free as Cindy wants? Does she think Casey will be any different? Does she not realize that Casey would be 10 times more dangerous (to pretty much anyone who got in her way) if she was able to get away with murder? Does she think that she could actually control Casey?

What on Gods name is CA thinking????

That the 2 of them will live happily ever after and she will go with Casey on her RV road trip...

In short, IMO, Cindy has done more damage to her daughter's case than she even realizes. She needs to just "be quiet".

Yes, it's all of her outrageous lies that have garnered so much attention to this case. No one wants to call them on it because they are the grandparents. CA lies as much as ICA.
You listen to ICA's lies during her interviews, watch CA/GA on National TV telling brazen lies, watch ICA and LA high-fiving each other and say 'What kind of bizarre family are they?' They all think they are completely above the law.

I also see it a little differently! No one should announce themselves... in the media of all places... being re-baptised... of all days... Caylee's birthday! You don't announce things like that! It is no ones business and it something between themselves and their God!

In the long run... George and Cindy owe NOTHING to me... the media... to the public! They owe everything to Caylee and their God! They need forgiveness from Caylee and their God! Not from me!

Unfortunately... they believe they need some kind of verification from us... from the media... of this unconditional love they talk about... when they do not even know the meaning of the word themselves!

They want something in return for being in the position that they are in... there is nothing in return.... they have lost! They get nothing back. Their daughter is a murderer... their granddaughter is a murder victim. They don't have to choose... but they did a long time ago! They chose the murderer over the victim!

We have no say in what happens to them eventually... they will have to answer to their choices... their lies... their corruption... eventually! I have always said that I really hope that one day they ask for forgiveness... because they are really going to need it... but not from us! It is something higher than us... more powerful than us! It doesn't matter what we believe in... because we all believe in something... and it is in all aspects... the same thing...

I disagree. They certainly owe the community in which they live the truth. Instead they are working to the point of incriminating themselves to free a murderer who they know is a murderer. If Casey were to get out and kill/victimize again, I think her future victims would believe GA and CA owed something to them.

It looks like CA has made a remarkable recovery from the frumpy old depressed Granny phase she was going through, it appears to have happened soon after she testified about her memory problems.
Today she was well dressed, the camera watched her (several times) laughing and chattering away to her companion. Her hair was back to her normal style and she was made up and manicured.
I guess her SS Disability has come through and she can relax... :innocent:

Yep, that's exactly what I was thinking! She looked like she crawled out of bed during her testimony...........now she looks "dolled up".......wonder if she'll have a relapse come trial.........still don't understand how she qualifies for SSI............if that's what she's shooting for...........

GA knew that. He told LE that he went to start the car and thought to himself that he was doing it the wrong way, he needed to check out the car. The moment of truth for him was when he opened the trunk-Was he going to let the trash bag/no body allay his fears, or was he going to call LE to the tow yard in spite of no body, because he knew that smell.

I was stunned at how put together CA looked today. She was a mess a few weeks ago. On the other hand, I thought ICA looked dishelved in sloppy clothing today. (bad heart bun day)

Not trusting CA's motives for getting all dressed up, I wondered:

(1) Is CA trying to gain sympathy for "poor" badly dressed ICA?

(2) Is this another passive-aggressive taunting by CA?

(3) Is it time to look civilized and have good-mother airs? Time to give a favorable
appearance close to trial? Try to get us to forget the devious, mean CA.

(4) Was she going on a date and eating crab puffs after court?

(5) How is she able to afford her current life style?

We know she hasn't worked in almost 3 years and she's in court every time so I doubt it's (a). So, it's down to (b) or (c).

You can totally tell CA was playing it up for the camera in court. She was very animated and and kept slyly glancing toward the camera person as she was being filmed. All dressed up, dramatic eye makeup, big smiles. Yuk. I think she came prepared for some cameo moments before her big '48 Hours' debut. She is a star in her minds eye, just like ICA. Pure narcissism. What a piece of work.

Maybe their church is helping to financially support them in their 'time of need'. Maybe some advances on future media productions? I can't see how they could still qualify for SSI. They are surely getting money from somewhere other than working.

thanks for all the opinions to my question as to whether or not Cindy, in particular might act out at trial. I have finally realized what was making me think that both Cindy and George will not disrupt the trial or cause a problem. the whole family, including KC, look like normal middle class people. they look like my neighbors and my own family in some ways. But they have proven over and over that they have not acted in a way most of us consider normal since this whole circus began. Before they open their mouths I expect them to react like I would in the same circumstances and it still surprises me sometimes when they don't. It shouldn't surprise me after all this time, but it does. Guess I am going to have to work harder to change my perceptions of them before trial.

I'm sorry but if she can show up for court everytime, she can hold down a job. There are people out there that really need SSI so hopefully CA has not been approved. Otherwise we'd all be eligible with what is going on in this case. jmo
