Thanks for the welcome onelost girl...need to get back to work now
...Don't laugh...but I got lost in here a few minutes ago!
Yes that's why if the police took GA away, it should solve half of Cindy's problems but she'd rather keep George around.
She tried to control KC but who was really controlling whom? KC seemed to get away with everything until July 2008 so all Cindy ever did was blow hot air imo. Whatever she did it didn't seem to have an affect on KC's behavior.

Not sure if I can fully explain what I'm thinking... but IMO Cindy controlled everything in that family.
KC got away with everything... because Cindy allowed her to.
GA got to stay married with all sorts of benefits... because Cindy allowed him to.
With GA, when things got out of hand, and she realized she wanted to divorce him, CA learned she would have to support him via alimony for the rest of her life, because she had been supporting him & the family for so very long, and she CHOSE to stay with him (which conveniently also gave her eternal guilt & fear power over him--"I am only staying with you because it's cheaper, you mook. But at any time I have the power to leave you...")
With KC, when things got out of hand, and CA realized her daughter had murdered her granddaughter, CA CHOSE to stay with her. Despite KC's clear spite for CA. This also gives CA eternal guilt & fear power over her--"I will support you because it is cheaper (to my ego), you b****. But at any time I have the power to flip on you and don't you forget it. Oh, you won't forget it, because I will encode it in EVERY SINGLE LETTER I EVER SEND YOU IN JAIL/PRISON FOREVER, and please notice the picture of Caylee that I copied and sent you with this letter."
This dynamic is generational. While I am not happy about Ms Barrett visiting KC and the plans for AF to go to Ohio, part of me is VERY curious to know how far back in the family tree these dysfunctional dynamics stretch.
MOO and :twocents:
who is Ms Barret and AF ? sorry I need to catch up:blushing:
 Welcome uvamerica...glad you've joined us. As for "Racetrack"...it's a convenience store/ gas station and I think I recall it being rather close to the A home. As for George not being able to hold a job, you're correctamundo...he's a louse and if I were CA I'd give him 1/2 the house just to be rid of his lazy behind.
WOW! I think you've perfectly nailed their dynamics. Unless someone's been exposed to this level of dysfunction (I have with an estranged family member), it's difficult to believe that there are people who live this way. I agree totally with your theory (unfortunately for dear Caylee).

ITA! But, how do we know if there is any truth to the story about CA having to pay alimony and give him half of the house? Because CA said so? Yeah! Right! It may be true, but I will only believe it at this point if an attorney who is familiar with FL divorce laws says that it is more likely than not what would have happened. Because the source of the info is CA telling her mom who then told her sister, I am in need of a few grains of salt. In my state, this would never happen. If there is anyone on here who can verify the truth to this being the law in FL, please chime in. Otherwise, I will chalk it up to another one of CA's "mis-truths". JMO
I ALL! I am another long time lurker!I love reading your post! re: racetrack ,George is a long time gambler. Cindy threw him out do to his gambling, not having a job. He for some reason could not hold a job before Caylee's death or after.
:croc:Cindy needs George around because who else is their to control. Remember Cindy is a control freak. She controlled Casey and look what happened there. And if she divorced him would'nt she have to give him half of everything?

Even though Cindy is a nutcase, I think it's GA who has a lot to do with KC's behavior. He taught her by his example.
Nonono Woe, Cindy taught her she could get away with it by allowing George to get away with it again and again. yeah George doing it didn't teach her anything good, I'm with you there. But if mom put an end to it, it would have shown her daughter the behavior would not be allowed or accepted. If he beat the dog and she let him the kids would probably end up beating the dog too. (if for no other reason then to see if they could get away with it too) But if he hit the dog one time and she did something about it they would know better then to hit the dog. ya know? My biggest issue with it is she lets 'em get away with it but then holds it over their heads for the rest of their lives. You either have a problem with it or you don't. You deal with it or you drop it because what your doing is abuse. imo
I could be wrong but I thought the money GA lost inthe scam was the money he received from his worker's comp. settlement????
It probably was but the story sounds better for Cindy if it was her money he blew!
