You do bring up a good point here and one I hadn't considered quite yet. He MAY have been conscious but he certainly wasn't talking or yelling.

I find it really hard to think about him the way he died. It was as if she tortured him. Very awful.

Well I think his body went into shock shortly after she stabbed him in the bathroom. I'd give a comparison but I don't want to be too graphic.

Although it is a pain to drag it all there it sure is a lot faster being able to do a lot of loads at once!
My sob story about laundry is that I have to take it from the top floor, down the stairs, through the main floor to the back stairs, down the stairs AGAIN and then to the machines. I'm exhausted before the load is even in the washer! I need a ranch home! :banghead:

I know what you mean. We had that situation, then finally broke down and moved to a home with our master bedroom on the ground floor where the laundry room and everything else is. We're just getting old I guess, as when we were younger it didn't bother me in the least.

Aw. I am praying for you and your family. I don't know what to say to him about his hair. But at least buzz cuts are kind of cool for boys.

When my son was in little league one of his team mates had chemo and lost his hair, so all of the team got buzz cuts and showed support. Maybe one of his friends would get a crew cut too, to make him feel better about it. To make it cool.

Sorry chijojo! I saw your post, but didn't know the answer either. I saw the same lady, too and wondered. For a minute I thought it was the mitigation lady, but then JA's big head obstructed my view of her and I couldn't see.

During redirect, she indicated she purchased the third gas can at Walmart before going to Starbucks then returned the can right after Starbucks. I did some research and there are two Walmart stores in Selinas and they are pretty close to each other(about 2 miles apart), but only the one on Main St has a Starbucks at the same lot. I was a bit surprised that Nurmi did not cross exam the Walmart witness and now I think he is trying to say Jodi returned the gas can at the other Walmart and that's why he did not bring up the issue to let Juan do further investigation. I watched the following youtube vid and the only time she mentioned about returning the gas can at the same store is during Nurmi's redirect, and she never CLEARLY mentioned she returned the can at the same store after that and she just said she returned it before leaving Selinas:

No, during Juan's cross he specifically asked her if she returned it to the same Walmart where she bought it and she said yes. I think he even repeated it to make sure. I just re-watched some of the cross so it's fresh on my mind that's how I know for sure.

Yes, the dog knew her. But my dog has known my son for years and he still barks at him as he's coming up the walkway---or at anyone around my house other than me.

I'm so sorry to hear about your son. If you don't mind, what kind of cancer? We have a dear friend who was found to have cancer at 4 MONTHS old. It was in her abdomen. She was in the hospital for a year but survived.

She just had her 5th birthday and they found out two days later the cancer has returned. She just lost all of her hair last week (after her 3rd chemo treatment). She was very sad as she is old enough to know she looks differently than her friends now. We have made her (and are making more) cute little hats with flowers etc and that has helped. We just keep telling her that her beauty (or handsome good looks in your sons case ) don't depend on her hair. She is beautiful because of her beautiful heart that shines through her smiles. She is getting more used to it and even took off her hat at the park today because she was too hot. All of the kids there handled it so well. Brought tears to my eyes.

I'm so sorry Rosemary! I have no idea what to say to him. Maybe you should let him do something really wild with his hair before it all falls out? My prayers are with you and your son.

I just finished watching on Youtube and JW looks absolutely defeated and done as El Juan was delivering his closing. She looked like she has given up, white as a ghost. I, however dont feel sorry one bit for her. Lay in bed with a dog and your gonna wake up with fleas.

El Juan was magnificent, and the killer no longer has delusions...Its first degree.......baby.
