If I remember correctly, doesn't LP have a law degree. He stated early on during the NG show I think (can't find a link). If that is the case he is knowledgeable on how the law works compared to the PI's. Even though he throws a lot at us I think he knows what can get him in trouble.

He may have spent those five days advising them to do the right thing and tell LE (he would not be able to), and when he realized that it was not going to happen he resigned. I don't think they moved the body, it was too spread out.

My question is if the PI did not find out this info until 11-15, then he was not on Baez payroll then and it would not be privileged. Did he just come up with the idea to go film it on the 15th and he has known the local since being on the defense team? And when did George and Cindy find out?

Maybe he wanted nothing more to do with this at that point. You would have to be terribly rotten to see something like this going down and not do something. IF it happened it was wayyyyyyyyyy wrong.

LP better watch it on that front too -- all the A's are lawyered up and I'm sure a lil ole defamation suit wouldn't be out of the question.

I think LP has been trying to get them to sue him for months. The publicity! The depositions!

Yes he does. He seems terribly sure of himself here, IMO. Why would he say something like that, implicating an FBI agent, if it were false. I can tell you this, if it is false, he will either be arrested or sued.

I read the ng transcript and to me Leonard was saying he talked to this guy on the 15th of December.....which was pretty close to the time the Joy thing was going on and it was brought to his attention.

Caylee's remains were discovered on 12/11 right? The whole world knew of the discovery by the 15th of Dec...LP said that the guy called him and told him on the 15th that they had located Caylee and that she was dead and they were GOING TO GET HER BODY -- one would have to assume he meant NOVEMBER, since the PI & LP wouldn't have been able to 'go get her body' after LE had roped it off as a crime scene on Dec. 11th?

I think he's backtracking or trying to because he messed up yesterday in what he said, and realized he'd implicated himself in OJ.

It is really slimy if true. Nejame would not been able to do anything about it other than resign. Depending on when the PI's got the info they wouldn't be able to report it either, though I am not really seeing them being ethically bound, they seem more oppurtunistic in drive.

When was it that the A's announced they were going to hold a press conference with new info? Then it was put on hold because MN was out of town. When he came back there was no press conference until that horrible one the the disheveled MB ,the A's spokesperson and the A's looking just awful.
It must have been around this time.

He said November 15th, more than once on NG. Last week. Check the transcripts.

I dont think this is false per say, but he is vague and the story does have confussion and I'm not so sure of everything being said is true.

He just isn't well spoken. On December 15th Hoover called LP and told him that back on Nov 15th he had gotten a call from DC saying Caylee was located, dead, and they were going to go get her (which sounds like they were going to collect the evidence and take it???), they went there and didn't find what they were looking for, but they have a video.

Now that Caylee was discovered on Dec. 11th by the MM, the PIs wanted to start shopping their video around, thus the conversation with LP 12-15-08.

I just watched the rerun. Yes, Leonard said he had the video conversation around Dec. 16-17th, something like that.

That sassy guy who attacked LP was wrong. He said LP was just saying this today about the video. No, I heard him say it on Monday/Tuesday overnight on Jane VM's show. He said then the video was made supposedly in November and LP found out about the tape in December (15th-16th-17th). Boy, I wanted to reach into the TV and smack that sassy creature.

As far as I'm concerned that sassy guy did not have a clue about this case.
He was horribly misinformed, they need to get people who at least know whats going on if they're going to be yapping out of their behinds.

As far as defense att's go I didnt think he was too bad, at least he did not act like everything KC did proved nothing. He was very straight forward in ways KC behaved that I've seen most defense att.'s dismiss.

I was curious how it fits in datewise with JB's statement that 'If Caylee is dead it was a tragic accident...blah blah'.

LP said on NG last week that FBI has the tape and is looking into it. To me it makes more sense now that the A's want immunity, and that they shut up the minute the body was found. JMO

A possibility is that the body was found on November15th and it was moved. It was then put back but not in the exact position as shown in the video tape.

I also find it extremely interesting that MNJ quit on November 20th, five days later. Perhaps one of his PI connections told him something.:waitasec: At that time he no longer cared to be involved with the conniving gp's.

That's right-I forgot MN's quitting abruptly was in the same timeline. I'm sure he saw a bit of the behind the scenes shenanigans and decided it was time to get the heck outta Dodge. What I don't get is whyone PI is videotaping another PI looking at the woods? DC worked for JB first then split with him in Oct and went to work for the A'S-or did he? Maybe the A's thought he had and that's why they hired him. Maybe, DC never really left JB-just went undercover. So, JB has a source in the A camp. Nobody in this case trusts the other!!
This case makes my head hurt worse than a hangover!!

read the transcript from tonights show- I cant but I wrote what LP said down on paper here- He said that the P.I. called him on December 16-17th about their discovery on the 15th of November- that they filmed the area, and Caylee was dead- and yes Caylee was found on Dec. 11th- so LP got the phone call from the P.I.'s after the body was found only to tell LP they knew where the body was from Nov 15th and LP asked them if they approached LE with this info back then and they said No so LP called Nick Savage- This is the way I understand it- If I am wrong anyone- correct me please
