#118 Threads closer to justice for Suzanne! 🩷

I'm ready to see BK get the justice owed him. Before a jury of his peers.

You don't get to tranquilize, understand, conceal and vandalize someone whose opinion you don't share, married or not.

He's had five years to pretend he's been harassed and hounded, that master LE overreach pinned an innocent man, that the whole county plus the FBI conspired to finger him for a crime he would never do... while the evidence suggests he would do, could do, did do, knew how to do, that no one else on the planet had the motive, means, access, dominance and methods to do it.

It is time for the State to lay out why Barry's days as a free man should rightly be over.

Depraved indifference comes to mind, among others.

She was a two time cancer survivor, recovering from treatment, at once vulnerable and victorious.

And he put her down, not a euphemism to soften the reality, a reality that is gruesome.

He didn't decide it in the moment either.

You know what's another word for a sustained crime of passion? Premeditated.

There's a price for that. And it should start with LWOP and go up from there.

Since this thread starts with the very first post about Suzanne being missing, I've been reflecting on the video Barry made in the beginning.

How many of us watched that and came to the same conclusion: What did you do to your wife?

I did not jump to any conclusion. I didn’t know anything about the situation and my reaction was of a man who was very uncomfortable in front of a camera and speaking. I got the impression someone had written down what he should say but he couldn't quite remember the words and delivered the message awkwardly so some of it sounded forced. I started following mostly because everyone jumped to the conclusion he was the perpetrator and those kinds of cases where the public jumps to a conclusion before evidence fascinate me the most.

That video was so weird on so many levels. It also took him a week to speak out.

Does anyone remember how quickly after SM's disappearance that BM came out with the sham* reward?

*Sham in the sense that it would only be paid for the safe return on an alive Suzanne, which BM knew was an impossibility.

Yes, it was only three days after Suzanne was reported *missing* that her husband Barry Morphew announced a $100,000 reward for information about her disappearance.

May 13, 2020 / 11:29 PM MDT / CBS Colorado

CHAFFEE COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The husband of a Chaffee County missing woman is now offering $100,000 as a reward for information about her disappearance, a family member told CBS4. Suzanne Morphew was reported missing on May 10.

Thank you. And I see it was May 14, 2010 that a friend added $100,000 to double the reward, which was provisional - for SM’s “safe return.”

I can't even explain how happy that this scum has been arrested again for his wife's murder. I hope he is charged with a death penalty.

Colorado abolished the death penalty in 2020.

edit to add - the change in physical appearance is stunning - did we ever know him to slip the pesky little steroids in to the protein powder during his Planet Fitness days? 💪
And I also believe that this was still the time we only knew the BM as "the husband"

"How ever much they want..."

When was the last actual abduction for ransom, outside of a movie?

Besides, I thought she got herself in the water. And a mountain lion got her. AND she's been abducted into a made-for-TV movie where Jason Bourne buys her back, after some kind of riveting shoot-out?

What's most horrifying is knowing that as he barfed up all the ways Suzanne did not disappear, he knew full well how she did.

What's kind of wild about his uttersly stupid "oh Suzanne" video is that, even within such a short time almost no one believed him. I recall the convos we all had at the time. He made it so terribly obvious.
