Worth revisiting this interview with MG, BM's former employee.

She's the one person who can testify to his weird in-person demeanor, last-minute Broomfield job scheduling, and odd behavior (leaving inappropriate tools for the job, barely having done any actual work on the wall himself, etc.) on both the Saturday and Sunday of Suzanne's disappearance.

Her testimony is going to be so damning to BM.

I think BM leaned on and confided in MG! She will be an incredible asset to the Prosecution.

Here's the latest development in Morphew's civil case. Looks like it's moving forward notwithstanding his arrest. No motion has been made to suspend proceedings, so far.

IMO, a single affair would not be sufficient to establish the character trait of promiscuity. Character evidence is reputational, established through facts and opinions known in the community.

IMO, a single affair would not be allowed to serve as the basis for a speculative argument that there must have been others.

Maybe Morphew intends to portray GD as a potential perp - I think that's a reasonable read of the JFB podcast interview. But he will need to present evidence specific to him, that would lead a reasonable investigator to see him as a potential suspect, and show that LE did not adequately investigate him.

IMO, Kelly and Johnson know about the interview, and they had this covered before the indictment issued.

-House and hotel room smelled of bleach, but that would be no reason to move her, however the timeframe of last proof of life? 4pm ish(?) She may have been bleached in the cooler and buried once.

I might be shocked at trial, but I think the "smell" of bleach/chorine as been greatly exaggerated over time. I don't even recall when or who reported that the house smelled of bleach. If I recall the spa outside was empty and in need of repair and supplies.

IMO, the hotel 3 hours away was for the purposes of DISTANCING himself from his crime, so I think there is NO WAY that SM's body was anywhere near that hotel.

He also had the drive and desire to harm her, as she planned to extricate herself from the marriage, an action to which he was vehemently opposed (threatening suicide, etc.)

There is no SODDI.

Absolutely . Barry's defence are not going to get very far in trying to cast doubt by bringing in SODDI. All evidence leads to Barry.

IIRC, someone (unsure who) made a comment about this to Andy (about the house smelling like bleach), and he's the source of that info. I don't believe anything else was ever said about it.

As for the motel room smelling like bleach, I believe that was the co-worker of Morgan, the man who is now deceased. ETA: Jeff Puckett. (I'd forgotten his name).

While I've always believed Barry Morphew murdered his poor wife, I've also always suspected the bleach smell had more made out of it, than was relevant to this case.

I don't think at the hotel, but I do wonder if they have any photos of his truck driving that morning with a cooler in it or maybe the day before. Seems they had some photos of his truck going various places so maybe one of them did have a cooler in it.
