Yes I recall the manager was quoted by some youtuber broadcasting from outside the hotel/ the pool was and had been drained and closed. Per Jeff the room REEKED of chlorine and made his eyes burn. That does not come from a drained pool.

I didn't recall that YT report about the pool being drained. Even if it was, I wonder how long it takes for the odor of chlorine to dissipate from a drained pool? Puckett's account of the wet towels, mail in the trash & chlorine smell always seemed rather believable to me.

I happen to think that the thing that stank was the man himself. Probably showered with bleach to decontaminate himself.

And he was ripe with it, requiring repeated showers to diffuse the stench with transfered readily to towels and clothing.

Probably thought he could overpower decomposition with chlorine, then had to dilute that. Wouldn't be surprises if Barry stayed out of the limelight (it was too soon, you know) because he'd given himself a nice chemical peel. Looking a little too rosy perhaps.

Unredacted. Yikes.

Upon further reflection, maybe the addresses are for professional witnesses only. No private citizens.

Best of all, nice to see Jonny Grusing on the list.

The state's witness list has been filed. Keep in mind witness lists just say who might be called, not who will be called.
Thanks for this - a lengthy list of names, some of whom we know and some of whom we don't (at least, I don't). One familiar name it Jean McAllister, a respected forensic expert in the field of domestic violence and related subjects. Looks like Kelly and Johnson may want to have another go at the contextual evidence Judge Lama rejected (wrongfully, IMO).

Given it was only 2 months into COVID for the US when Suzanne was murdered, I can't recall now if the pool was just closed, or if they'd actually drained it? Even if it was closed, you'd still be able to smell the chlorine if the room was close enough to the pool.
Puckett said the pool was empty/closed.

I totally agree. Barry brought the bleach smell to that room.

It would be logical to ask, Was the smell in the hallway leading down to the pool?

Was the smell surrounding the reception area? Usually the pool is located close by.

Was the smell surrounding the breakfast area?

Puckett said, "when he opened the door he was overcome by chlorine smell in the room."

***The hotel has confirmed that they do not use chlorine to clean guest rooms and that the hotel pool was epmpty/closed at the time of Morphew’s visit

I'm not at all sure if the smell of bleach/chlorine will even factor into the case. But it'll sure be curious to find out one way or another.

I'm not surprised at any of the names on the list but is one missing from Barry's crew?
BM had a crew of MG, JP, CC (all on the list) but I thought there was a 4th person (of course I can't remember his name).

OP might want to re-check the list. Except for JP, who is deceased, they're all on the list: MG, CC, & CC. Only MG is relevant now. JMO

Other than JP being deceased, I'm unsure why you're saying only MG is relevant now?

Employees from Walmart and Safeway are on that witness list.

Perhaps some interesting purchases?

My guess on when SM was likely moved. It would have been, IMO, before snow, frozen ground and hunting season. So late Summer early Fall of 2020. That also gives 2-3 yrs for clothing to degrade, tissue to decompose how the autopsy described and the state of her bones. This is still wild to me and the original location I have no clue. imo
Sold, moved house, moved body.

We can hope.
Or maybe outdoor cameras captured something interesting in the parking lot or a vehicle driving past on a certain route. ?
I remember first seeing all the businesses listed on the witness list for Leticia Stauch trial and all the scenarios we were all guessing!
Mostly they were tracking her movements.

It is just another jigsaw piece when put together with all the others shows a very clear picture of Barry's guilt.
Exactly this. Stand alone, maybe not so powerful. Part of the overall picture, boom.

Don't you think, he had screamed in pain because of his fingernail scratch wounds from Suzanne, if he had showered with bleach? Wimp BM I can imagine as howling in the shower, if. ;)

Comparing the 10/29/21 Prosecution Witness List (31 pgs) to 7/16/25's list (15 pgs), they lost one Safeway witness, but the Walmart dude is the same...
