I stumbled over Mrs. Ritz / Monarch Lodge. Is it near to Garfield (like I'm thinking because of a map), and is there maybe a connection between a lodge and BM in some way? I am curious now (as of course anyway) .....

Upon further reflection, maybe the addresses are for professional witnesses only. No private citizens.

Unfortunately the neighbor Suzanne had coffee with and spoke to right before the weekend and who went to check to see if her bike was there is unreacted.

I did enjoy seeing Sho D listed and JL listed. I bet they both have information we don't know about yet. I just wonder how MM1 and MM2 are going to be on the stand, it will be tough on them, but I hope they are honest regardless.

Yes I recall the manager was quoted by some youtuber broadcasting from outside the hotel/ the pool was and had been drained and closed. Per Jeff the room REEKED of chlorine and made his eyes burn. That does not come from a drained pool.

Agree, it was also Mothers Day weekend during COVID. Not a lot of travelers I would bet. Why would they put anybody in that room if it reeked of chlorine? Not buying it.

Plausible. If she was near the property or I guess on the property (to me this is doubtful but so was a body move) then BM would know he’s going to lose access with the home selling. So he risks moving her. Or do you think he used the house selling and the physical movement of leaving as a cover to relocate her? I still think the way her remains were described in the autopsy report suggest she was at the recovery location much earlier than the house selling in 2022 I believe? imo

That was the Antler's Lodge, Valentine's Day. Nothing says love like 'disguise yourself'. But then, he probably signed in as Pepe Le Moore.

Maybe he lodged at all the lodges.

if you continue west past the Morphew's home you are soon at Monarch Pass and partway up the pass is Monarch Lodge. I imagine it would be of interest to find out who might have been staying there or just to check and talk to people who worked there. The ski area at the top would have been closed in May. There was a lot of interest in Monarch pass and the terrain around Monarch Pass early in the investigation as it's the only way to head due west from the Morphew home. The witness list looks to me to be many if not close to all the original list from the first case. They won't call many, many of those people and it's possible it's comprised of everyone that was interviewed in the original investigation as well as all the investigators.

Monarch is a ski resort . The highway leading up to it was closed for a day to search after her helmet was found.
The Valentines Day hotel stay was at the Antlers Hilton hotel in Colorado Springs.

Reading over the witness list and I noticed one that has a Moffat, Co address.

Travis Mayo and the address is on Broadway Street. I was thinking maybe a camera, but I don't believe this is near where she was located. I could be wrong, but when I pull up that address, it's near other homes and it is in the area, but I don't think this house would have been close enough to have cameras pointed toward her location.

It just caught my eye when I was scrolling the list since the address was in Moffat.

I see a witness from Texas is that what you are referring to? I know the home he stayed at when he made bond was the Cushman's home and if I remember right, it was their vacation home, so they allowed him to stay there. It was right down from his old house. Maybe Texas is their permanent home and they come to Colorado to the vacation home?

I wouldn't make much of the missing address from the Walmart witness. Walmart uses professional witnesses from Corporate for Court appearances -- typically from their "Technology Investigations Division," who can testify about everything from store surveillance to in-store transactions, identity theft, etc. If DM has the best MSM photos, I'd say Walmart has the best surveillance video/imaging in the country! JMO

I happen to think that the thing that stank was the man himself. Probably showered with bleach to decontaminate himself.

And he was ripe with it, requiring repeated showers to diffuse the stench with transfered readily to towels and clothing.

Probably thought he could overpower decomposition with chlorine, then had to dilute that. Wouldn't be surprises if Barry stayed out of the limelight (it was too soon, you know) because he'd given himself a nice chemical peel. Looking a little too rosy perhaps.

It’s possible the hotel had just closed the pool and it smelled for quite sometime.

It’s also probable that if Barry had showered with bleach he would smell when he returned home Sunday night when he spoke with KE where Suzanne’s bike was found. Bleach is an extremely hard smell to get off your skin.
