I'm very disappointed in this judge's rulings about the bond. She's very naïve in giving BM the benefit of the doubt regarding following rules. It was right in front of her: using various names, not updating his vehicle registrations. These weren't one-offs.

I am, however, heartened by the thought that if BM makes the bond, there is little chance sly ole BM will abide by it. Only leaving the condo for doctor or legal appointments will be a real hardship for such an outdoorsman. And no guns, I hope means whatever guns he's parked in the condo saying they belong to the daughter and not him are removed. And any chance of dating means Netflix on the couch.

He hasn't made bond yet.

Next come the BARRage of motions. Needs to leave the house for church. He's a godly man. Needs to leave the house for work. He's a workin' man. Someone somewhere needs him to push a rock down a mountain.

The least the judge could have done, if she was going to grant him bailable bail is make it compelling. How about raise it to $5M or $10M, then talk about 10%. He probably has $300,000 of other people's money, in nickels, barried in his couch cushions, in the couch he barried.

I'm stunned he gets to slide out of custody again.

It's not right.

Are push-ups at the gym a medical emergency?

Asking for an enemy.

Another thing I'm dwelling on. Most people who declare themselves indigent are not on the jailhouse phone selling stocks.

  • #864
Please tell me he had to produce a dossier on his finances to prove his indigency. And someone fact-checked it.

Please tell me his bondsman doesn't do blind handshakes.

Barry fibs a little.

Same way Pike's Peak is little.

We could write the script. I am sure there will be appeals for him to visit his mother in Indiana.

I am just hopeful that when he breaks the bond, he is actually back in custody, not given a fine or a slap on the wrist.

Where is Shoshona (sp?) living these days? Would BM see her as any sort of threat with whatever knowledge she may have?

Is he out now?

Zillow values Buck Dr at $377k. A 90% LTV home equity loan or line of credit would cover it.

Interesting. And the house is in MM1’s name on the Indiana ownership site. (I’ll go get the link.) So for it to be used as collateral, she would have to sign off on that.

ETA: Hamilton County, IN - Property Records

Ugly mug of Barry - love that prosecution told the judge all the aliases, grime, and especially that he was living in a trailer driving the same old vehicles. Yes, because he's a cheapskate - always was. 💯% all his life That's why he never registered the vehicles properly and switched the plates around. He's a sorry excuse. Justice for Suzanne!

When I saw him in Arizona, he was driving a white Ford pickup. Iirc, when arrested, he was driving a black pickup. Who knows if he actually owns either of them.

Does it belong to MM1 already?

The Buck Drive house in Noblesville, Indiana, is in MM1’s name. The current belief is that is the house his mother lives in, but I don’t have confirmation of that.

Actually she has to come to CO, when he isn't allowed to shop for his food and household utensils - or is he?? She has to care for her boy instead of him caring for her, it seems. She has had an exciting life with him since 2020, which doesn't mean, it's pleasant. :(

I imagine He would be permitted to shop for essentials if he could not get home deliveries.
I wonder if one of the daughters will move to live near him.

Never mind that he doesn't have a house.

Well, we know he knows how to arrange home delivery to his neighbors' home.

He didn't even have actual housing set up, yet she gifts him with a percentage-due bail.

May house arrest chafe him. In every place imaginable.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up living, as I don’t believe he owns any property in Colorado anymore?

I’m very curious as to how this is going to work.

He probably has a person who does.

Hasn't BM reportedly made financial arrangements to put some of his financial assets in a 'family member's' name? Wouldn't the Court take that into consideration when determining whether or not he was eligible for a PD? This entire decision makes my blood boil, that's why I waited to comment without running the risk of a TO.

Slick BM is far from destitute, he's just running his usual Long Con Game. He's a pro at it, been doing it his entire life IMO. WE see you Barr. 🤬

He needs a lover, who is able to pick up his parcels from incorrect addresses. Absolutely.

I worry for the defendant's daughters. A narcissist can destroy others. JMO
JMO, the defendant will go to prison, eventually.

Was it the judge who said he has rental property in AZ? That he was able to continue that work from jail --

Does AZ have any rental/residency laws? Do they favor slum lords from CO?

How does he always find a way to scam the system?

Lordy that judge had this written out before she heard from both today. Not pleased. So for 300k a bail bondsman can be a surety for Barry. So disappointed.
😢
A bail bondsman will typically charge 10 percent of the bond amount as his fee. This indigent defendant does not have that money. The $300 K fee is not recoverable, so someone will have to be very generous.

I am hoping a reliable source will be able to fill in some more details about

Are we sure he does not have funds hidden away ? I think he will not be happy to pay that amount and it being unrecoverable.
