General question that applied to so many previous messages I thought it'd be better to post separately. I've seen it repeated that Dylan didn't want to go to his dad's, and the longer this goes on the more adament it seems some of the posts are getting about him not wanting to go. I wish we knew more about the "court ordered visititation" but I find myself wondering if this is a bit of sensationalist wording in MSM? Was it court ordered in that the recent custody agreement indicated that they'd alternate Thanksgiving holidays starting with Dylan being at dads this year? Was it a last minute thing, or just part of the custody agreement?

I've also read (here) several times that he was forced to go. Did he ever indicate to a judge he didn't want to go? Other than the "scowling emoticon" in the text to his mom I haven't seen much to indicate he didn't want to go IMO. It seems he was at least looking forward to seeing his old friends. Even if he's not "outdoorsy" it's not like being at his dad's automatically meant a week of backpacking or something. I can see a kid that age preferring to stay at his regular home for any number of reasons, but if there was somewhere that it was said he adamently didn't want to go or was forced to go, I must have missed it. If I did miss something can someone please help me find it? It's been hard to keep up!

I so hope he's found soon.

thats months to me. :)

Can I ask what your hat means? I clearly spend to much time on Mommy Boards because I see "ttc" and trying to conceive is all that comes to mind.

Since I am O/T anyway - Ronso, your lil one is adorable. My oldest will be 17 in a few hours. I have no idea when he got so old but I really miss the cuddly baby stage.

I wonder did Dylan even make it to his fathers house? I hope it is OK to say this but what if the dad did something to him before they even arrived at the dads house?

Would the travel trailer being investigated in the article's pic be considered vehicle #2? :waitasec:

Unless I completely mis-read the article and caption, I think the travel trailer belonged to CSI and it was one of the places they were taking things for processing. I don't think it belonged to the dad.

ETA: I think I may have misread it, I'll look for the original article I saw.

I finally saw the video from the Durango Herald about today's search. It seems to be quite a production, tents, towed vehicles, etc. Is this how searches typically look?

I am behind in reading... So please excuse me if this has been addressed... But are the tents, etc still parked at dad's place... Indicating further searching tomorrow, Friday?

TIA

I can guess at that on ttcRider's behalf. Seeing as that poster is from Ontario, I interpreted that as "Toronto Transit Commission Rider". The TTC is the Toronto transit system.

ETA: I have to say that I LOVED your interpretation....trying to conceive! That's great.

I'm wondering if the 'more dedicated' WSers that I can update me here...but did I see an earlier inference that Dylan and his dad made a stop on the way home?

TIA

From the video with the article it looks like a motor-home/trailer on the left side behind some trees.(seen at the end of the video)Possibly a trailer is on the right with the tents and other set up? But I agree the written article seems a little vague on the trailer.

Colorado Bureau of Investigations and the FBI had tents and a trailer set up outside the house Thursday morning. Investigators wearing white scrub-like uniforms made trips in and out of the house and a travel trailer this morning.
IDK?

Clearly LE is trying to play down the search warrant, and, it is appropriate to check out the last place Dylan was likely known to be, but 15 investigators is a pretty good size team, isn't it?

I think this part is really interesting:

Investigators towed Mark Redwine's two pickups from his property to an undisclosed location for further searching.

:websleuther:
It is 11 days into the investigation and they are taking dad's 2 vehicles to be searched more closely? That leads me to believe that he is still on their radar.

Dad has a travel trailer on the side of the property AND CSI brought their own trailer and tents out as well. This was a pretty thorough search.

I just had a thought while reading your comment on the ' scowly ' face. Who is to say that is even because of going to his dads? My kids are fast and loose with the scowly or frowny or :O face in text. Say mom wrote Dylan,, ' are you with dad? how was your flight? did you get food on the plane? ''
Dylan writes back, ''yes, ok, no :( ''.............see?
