theres been no claims that I've seen saying he's been missing since sunday

however LE have asked for any recreational video from all routes between durango and vallecito from 6pm sunday until noon monday.

we haven't heard of any confirmed sightings of Dylan past the sunday evening so that could be what people are looking at too.

I know. They were always saying he went missing since Monday, as that is when his mother and father reported him missing.
So them saying he went missing since Monday is not a change in anything.

Isn't that Walmart in Durango? It wouldn't even prove Dylan arrived at Vallecito Lake.

Absolutely true!
That is why I also said '' That coupled with some possible findings at the home, scent, clothing, whatever, may prove he did make it inside the house. ''

My 'guess' is between the walmart vids and something found inside the home may prove to LE or at least make them comfortable that Dylan was indeed inside the home overnight on Sunday for some amount of time... an hour or ten hours, who knows.

Very interesting. I wonder why they are limiting this until noon Monday, and not up until the time Dylan was reported missing?

I am not sure either. Seems since they don't appear to know what exactly happened, why limit the window? After all there are still many hours left from 12 pm on Monday until he was reported missing?

Because they believe dad when he says he got home at 11:30 and Dylan was gone by then ? That's the only way I'd think they could arrive at that time.

Well, I am going to wait until they say something about proving he was home on Sunday. They are still saying that he might have been wearing the same clothing on Monday as he did in the airport. So, I don't think they found any of the clothing he is seen on video wearing.

I agree. They use the "missing since Monday" because that is when he was reported missing...not necessarily that they think he vanished on Monday.

The opportunity for Dylan to go missing begins sometime early Sunday evening...after the last confirmed sighting at WalMart...and continues until Monday.

Using 8 p.m. as the time frame of his last cell phone activity, that leaves approximately 12 hours unaccounted for other than dad's statement. That's a lot of time for "things" to happen. JMO

It sounds like they are believing MR when he said he returned around 11:30 that Monday morning and found Dylan missing.

And so they want video since 6 pm on Sunday?

Then why don't they ask for videos starting Monday morning?
That doesn't add up.

We were all speculating it might be to see other vehicles, like suspicious, maybe an out of town plates or something in the area that might give them some direction. I would say the term ' grasping at straws' applies here because they have very little to go on.

And you're very right. A lot does not add up. I'd say 10 threads or whatever it is later and all we know for sure is dad has a landline and internet service.
Those are the only ' new ' developments from the beginning right ?
It would be great if LE made a statement of some kind.
Which still strikes me odd. Why not tell the community to be on the
lookout for a dangerous child predator if they believe one was in the
area and took Dylan ?

They probably have the phone records by now that shows the time that MR was trying to text Dylan when he got home and found him gone. They have also interviewed other people and some may have said that Mark came over at a certain time to see if Dylan was there or had been there.

http://www.thedenverchannel.com/new...hick-folder-full-of-tips-on-missing-boys-case

In addition to tips, the Task Force has asked the public for recreational video footage or photographs that include vehicles traveling between Durango and Vallecito Lake, taken between 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18 through noon on Monday, Nov. 19.

Bender alluded to videos and photos that the Task Force has received in a written statement, but refused to say more.

"As this is an ongoing criminal investigation, the Task Force cannot comment on details about the search of Mark Redwine's home, details about video and photographs from community members that are being analyzed, or any other details on the investigation," said Dan Bender, public information officer for the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office.

They are doing their jobs. They are tracking him from the time they know he arrived in the area. They are looking for anything or anyone suspicous. They are proving MRs timeline. Just because they might "believe" him doesn't mean they don't do the research .. that would be lousy police work.

imo.

How long was this long trip its what 5 hrs driving?
He flew.

Come on peeps hes 13.
If he was going to his friends home he would have a diff look on his face

The child looks unhappy that is very evident on his face.
I do not think he wanted to be there.

All JMO

If I took either of my teens to walmart, I promise you they would be able to get a couple bored out of my mind shots as well. He's not distraught, he just looks like a kid looking around and passing time to me.

I suspect they specifically chose an image that didn't have dad or anyone in it, since Dylan is the one missing.

But more important.....
They have not been cleared!

They usually say they have been ruled out but they havent yet.

We know they did a poly on ER, and we all can safely assume she wasn't involved, but they never said officially that she was cleared, right? I don't think this team is doing that.

I suspect that you can't really clear someone unless they have a rock solid alibi, anyhow. Even if they prove Dylan made it to dad's, and prove he was on the computer until 2:00 (HYPOTHETICAL!) then it would still leave 2-8 unaccounted for, and thus they still couldn't really clear dad.

IOW, I wouldn't count on hearing he is cleared unless they come together with a very clear suspect aside from him.

That is another thing I always question when children go missing. Nine times out of ten LE never comes out and warns the public. They never did in Jessica Lunsford, Van Dam, Smart, Greone cases either and all along the predators were running loose.

Maybe they think that it is just commonsense that parents will be more protective of their children when they know a child is missing. The only case I can remember recently that they did warn the community was in Jessica Ridgeway's case.

Just because MR was texting Dylan means nothing. It also means little if MR went looking for Dylan on Monday afternoon. Neither situation verifies that Dylan was safe prior to MR's Monday morning errands.

I agree. Those texts and visits could be for ' show'.
Could be , not necessarily .

No matter what, Dylan is unaccounted for during a 12 hour gap of time from approximately 8 p.m. Sunday evening to 8 a.m. Monday morning.
MR's activities Monday morning have been confirmed, but nothing else has been verified.
