We all know and have read about the "scowl" smiley (which she didn't mention in the NG interview on 12/4 BTW). That is a direct quote from ER and the rest has been said, as direct quotes, later. This was sooner than 11/26 as was stated IMO. AGAIN ... each to their own POV which I also stated.

Please refer back to page 1 of this MP case for more, much more. Again IMO.
Page 1 here: CO CO - Dylan Redwine, 13, Vallecito, 19 Nov 2012 - #1 - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

Not sure why you're referring me back to the beginning. I've read every post and article. I started following this case intensely on 11/20. (Hubby thinks I'm obsessed!) We'll just have to agree to disagree.

The only thing that matters is that we find Dylan!!! On that, I know we agree.

I don't think it would mean a sighting, per se, but, it would help us with the timeline, not to mention the missing posters should be as correct as possible.

If Dylan only packed a few pieces of clothing and one of the items was the Nike t-shirt and when Dad got home, Dad found the t-shirt from the night before still on the couch, we would know that Dylan changed his shirt that morning before heading out.

LE would know this and they should let us know, especially so that the posters are correct. I'm not sure how to interpret their silence on the subject? Either the Nike shirt listed on the posters is correct and so LE is not going to tell us they found the shirt from the night before or the info is incorrect and it is unlikely that Dylan is wearing the Nike shirt and LE is just going to let the missing posters be wrong.

I wish LE would just tell us - missing posters are right OR missing posters need to be fixed.

Salem

But if his dirty Nike shirt had been left behind on the sofa, then Dad would have had something for the scent dogs to use on Monday night. But according to an article I linked upthread, Mom had to bring one in from back home, several days later. JMO

Not to belabour the point.... but.... Dylan packed light, everthing was in his backpack. The info about the Nike shirt MAY (speculating here) have come from Mom and not from Dad. If Dylan only packed a clean shirt (Nike shirt), clean shorts, clean socks & underwear and his personal items and Mom knew what he packed, then when the Walmart shirt was found on the couch (that's me speculating), Mom would have known he was wearing the Nike shirt - because (speculating again) it was the only other shirt he had......

Just speculating - but wasn't it mom's friend that help put the poster together?

Salem

She's a friend to both MR & ER and has been talking with both of them.

Exactly what I was just thinking.

I believe it looks like this: ;(

Does anyone actually *know* what this "interpreted as a scowl" emoticon is? I know what a scowl is but I have no idea how I'd type it using text characters, and if I saw it, danged if I know how I'd know it was supposed to be a scowl.

I was thinking this one: >: (

But looks like there are multiple options.

Same thing happened in Sierra Lamar's case... what mom last saw her wearing (on mom's WATCH) vs the clothing found in the bag, neatly folded. Don't even want to go back there again!!!!!

What Jessica Ridgeway's mom reported her wearing vs the scanner thread looking for a sighting "on scene" clothes ... that led to a "wanted to be grown up" ... phrase mentioned by her mom ... to JR took other clothes to be "older", etc. .... to her backpack found and LE saying "may be wearing other clothes". It was a mess. Don't even want o go back there again either!!!!!

I had to look it up. lol. I had a flip phone and I must say how someone "texts all the time" with that phone is beyond me. lol, but I'm not 13 and could care less about texting even with my iPhone and everyone that knows me ... YOU better not text me. I do not text ... it's rather rude, IMO. If you want to talk to me .. call me ... otherwise, pfffffft. :snooty: lol

I think my DD used to use downloaded emoticons, even with her old flip phone she had in middle school. She had various smilies and also various downloaded ringtones.

That article had no source. IMO.

ER has said that, but YET AGAIN what were the bloodhounds doing the night of Nov. 19th and into Nov. 20th.

La Plata County Search and Rescue members searched for Redwine Monday night in areas of County Road 500.

Added by me ... Monday night is Nov. 19th.

Members of La Plata County Search & Rescue team using bloodhounds searched for the teen Monday night and Tuesday. The search area included the shoreline around Vallecito Lake, several small subdivisions, county roads, steep wooded hillsides and hiking trails. Many of the homes in the area are seasonal while some are occupied year around.

Beats me. I guess they were just wandering around sniffing "stuff". :banghead:

Appreciate your links, but I disagree. Neither the rest of his arm nor the other arm appear red. Saw that theory at the front of the thread as well. Guess there's much in this case that generates different ideas and perceptions. :)

LE has access to the original tape and images and probably access to excellent video enhancement equipment. I'm sure they're on top of it, if there's any cause for concern.

Moo

Just discussing generally, not TO you.

Red is very easy to lose control of in digital photography, especially in highlights. The reason it's worse on your face is because your skin is thinner on your face & neck area.

This is why you'll also see the red on the inner parts of his arms (opposite the elbow) even though that skin is still not quite as thin as the face. IOW it's normal for cheap security cameras, or digital cameras to lose their reds, and when they do- you'll see it more in things that already have a read hue about them. it will be least obvious in things that have cyan (or blue) hues.

Night folks. This is doing my head in.

A helicopter from the San Juan County, N.M., Sheriff’s Office searched Vallecito, Lemon, Haviland, Electra and Nighthorse reservoirs, he said. From the air, authorities were able to search the surface, shallow areas and shorelines of the reservoirs, he said.

“These new searches are not based on any new tips, either,” he said. “We are just trying to be as thorough as possible and look as many places as we can for Dylan.”

I am not good at transferring maps. Sorry. But if someone can map out these lakes, it is interesting to see their relationships.

I know they did "fly overs" and are not doing this from new tips, as stated in article.

I am scared that LE is still at square 1 or they are no longer in the search mode...??

Dylan, where the heck are you and WHAT happened???

I am not sure what you mean by ' no source.' Dylan's mom said there was no scent source offered by MR, on Channel 7NEWS:

http://www.thedenverchannel.com/new...lorado-teen-dylan-redwine-planned-for-tuesday

"The panic is just, you know, Where is he? Is he hurt? Was he able to have turkey at Thanksgiving? You know, just, all the things you want for your children. And the panic sets in because I can't do anything," the mother added.

Elaine Redwine also questions why the boy's father, Mark Redwine, had no clothing to offer search teams and K-9 units.

I've been following this case since the first day, and when it was reported that mom had to have clothing brought to her from Colorado Springs the weekend after Dylan went missing, I couldn't determine who that info had come from. I never saw anything indicating that the police had said it, and I'll note that when the clothing arrived, the police said they didn't need it. Strange.

Around that time, reading the Find Dylan Facebook page, and the pages of relatives, friends, community members, it seemed that the citizen search team wanted the clothing for dogs they were trying to bring in, versus LE wanting scent articles for their own dogs.

Anyway, I haven't seen anything to clarify who wanted the clothing Mom sent for. So... maybe dad gave clothing left at his home to LE to use with their dogs.

That's a good example of what I just posted. It's unclear which search/K9 teams she means - LE or community search/K9 teams.

Can you please provide a link for that statement? I do not remember seeing this in MSM?

TIA and welcome!
