Every time i get frustrated with questions LE doesn't answer. I remind myself why. Because they don't "have" to. Doesn't make me any happier tho :banghead:

No, they don't have to. As long as they are on top of things and close to finding Dylan and don't need any help from the community, etc...hope all of this is true.

I agree. He could be a cousin or something. Most likely he is another child but does anyone know for sure?

Isn't MR Mark Redwine Sr? If he's a Sr, it stands to reason that he does have a Mark Redwine child, we just can't be sure that the friend on DR's facebook is one in the same, huh?

I haven't heard anyone calling him Mark Redwine Sr.

I am guessing MAR is Mark, Jr. That is ALL I know about him. I just saw where someone discovered he existed a few days ago.

I am guessing he is MR's son from a prior marriage. We don't need to sleuth much deeper than that though.

I know I am sounding tight here regarding these kids but we really owe it to them to protect their privacy. They're dragged into this through no fault of their own. I always hate it when they are exposed....feel bad for them. (And I use the term "kids" loosely. I realize most of them are probably young adults now.)

bbm

It's ok! I, for one, wouldn't be around if his innocent kids were fair game!

Does anyone have knowledge about how grand juries work in La Plata? Or if a grand jury would even be involved at this point?

Is the lack of INFO normal in a case like this ?

I personally find it strange that more is not being done to find him but i am from London in the U,K so i can only go by cases like The Soham Murders, Madeline McCann , James Bulger , Sarah Payne and a few more but everything stops and its 24/7 media on them cases. And of course the U,S is so very different as it very's state to state but even so , for me it looks like they are basically doing zilch to find this poor boy.

Just no new leads , no info to get the public looking and its quite shocking from an outsider looking in.

I think LE is doing tons. We just dont know the info. Sometimes they release alot. Other times very little to none. I think it depends on the case and how LE chooses to run it. MOO

I thought I'd add an example of what a basic Pearltree resembles for a case that I follow. The real tree I have is against TOS due to the level of detail & connections but it took me less than 3 min to create this example.

The Pearls can be customized with photos, comments, news articles, etc... The maker of the tree can also "instruct" Pearltrees to add Pearls automatically on your behalf, if you like. Think of it as a "smart tree" that will pull and attach Pearls of information on your subject automatically.

You also have the option to share your tree or keep it private.

oh yeah I picked which case you had it for lol

justjeanie and schmae i would have to agree with both of your statements. im going one further by adding that i am a female and i might act the same way your husbands do or other dads might do! at 13 years old there is a level of trust between parent and child. at 13 years old as a parent i would also know my child would throw a fit if i treated him like a baby. i would feel perfectly fine leaving my 13 year old home knowing that if a problem were to arise they would be smart enough to call me. even if there were no problems it would not strike me as odd not to speak with them til i came home a few hours later :)
what do you all say here? imo. moo. all other 3 letter personal opinion stuff lol

It's not unusual, to me. Some drag on forever with no reporting. Each case is different though.

Sorry I used your post but I thought it was in the context of MR driving a truck.

On NG ER said that she wasn't 100% sure if he was still there, but that he has generally worked as a truck driver. We do NOT have confirmation that he has a current CDL, just that he was able to carry one for some time. That's why I have been qualifying my CDL comments with "if MR hasn't had his CDL revoked..."

The United Pipeline Systems (sorry, don't know for sure if I have the title exact) was in MSM at some point as last know employer. I looked up he company name (listed in Durango) at the time because I already suspected he drove truck before ER said anything, and it DOES hire internal truck drivers.

I hope that answers your question. It's all we know, nothing is confirmed.

Hi everyone, this is my first post so please be gentle.
1) If Dylan was suppose to meet with his friends at 630 and MR said that he tried to wake him at 730, why is there no mention that after Dylan woke, ate cereal, watched TV, that he contacted his friends either by text or land line to ask them for a ride?
2) Dylan's bike is outside the front door, if he was headed out fishing or to a friends house and considering the distances involved, wouldn't it make more sense to ride than to walk?
3) Comments by MR are troubling to me, using past tense, is perhaps the biggest. I also find it disturbing that after the Nancy Grace episode, his comments to the press were that ER knows everything and everyone wants to talk to her. When your child is missing it seems inappropriate to have so much anger towards your ex that you almost sound jealous that she did an interview.
4) Does anyone else find it odd that MR didn't know about the vigil, didn't return text messages to CR or ER? I mean, your child is missing, you have no idea what happened and you use this opportunity to ignore the people that are affected?! If it were my child, my phone would be glued to my hand and I'd answer each text, each phone call, each message.
5) I believe that the flight landed at about 6 pm, I imagine the airport is pretty small so there isn't a big time frame for getting off the plane and into a car, we know Dylan was at Walmart, if you google (I hope I'm not out line) the travel time from Walmart to MR's house is about 1 hour. So at a minimum it would have put MR and Dylan at the house at around 7 pm or later.
ER said that she received a text at about 7 pm and the phone was shut off at about 8 pm. I just don't see a 13 yo making plans with his friends (between 6 pm and 8pm) then shutting his phone off, going to bed and then not calling his friends the very next morning to see what they all wanted to do that day.

Can anyone shed some light on these things?

Just here. IMO

For no apparent reason, though.
His older son name is Nick.
I haven't seen anywhere that he also had a son named Mark Jr.

That's why I asked- I thought I remembered reading it- but wasn't 100%

You guys are getting slow, after more than 12 hours away from here, I had less than 200 unread posts to catch up on!

He said he removed the kids from school because of it (I think those were the words), but could he have just meant that he would pick them up and drive them home to make sure she didn't drive with them after drinking?

possible I suppose depending on his work hours unless he wasn't working at the time.

I've seen nothing to indicate that he never talked to anyone about it. MOO

I'm glad that info about MH's other "children" has been mentioned.
I have part of a timeline that may be the final piece in driving Beach crazy! So far we have:

M & F married in 19** (Mike and first wife)
M & F divorced in 19** (Mike and first wife)
M & E married in 1988 (Mike & Elaine)
M & E divorced in 19** (Mike & Elaine)
M & E divorced in 1989 (Mark & E.)
M&E married in 1991 (Mark and Elaine)
M&E divorced in 2005 (Mark & Elaine)
M&E moved to a home together and are engaged (Mike & Elaine)

Am I right in thinking they were living in Bayfield when they divorced?

My experience has been the same. I'm lucky if I can get my husband to even answer a call, let alone actually make one!
*I* do all the work of keeping up with my inlaws for the sake of our kids :banghead:

azgrandma you have mentioned something i have seen over and over again in this forum, the bike outside. no one knows whos bike it is first off. i can tell you that dylan is 5 feet tall. if that were a larger framed bike he would not have fit on it to comfortably ride it. we also do not know if the bike was in working order. so many times i have seen bikes laying around with missing pieces or with flat tires. maybe it did not work. if it was at MRs house chances are it was MRs bike and it would have been too large for dylan :)
