Well duh! It says Australia right there!!!

So you are on the countdown!!
I never made it that far with either of mine!
I had a 25 weeker and a 34/36 weeker! (they are fine and grown)
Take care!
I am excited for you!

You sound like me! I have two angel boys in Heaven Cameron and Nah born at 19 weeks and 24 weeks. I have an almost 5 year old miracle now born at 34 weeks. My darn incompetent cervix!

Thank you :) my baby girl is due on the 4th of January, I wrote the date differently because I'm in Australia hehe.

Yep you're right. Maybe he did like cartoons, maybe he didn't. We just don't know. :sigh:

congrats a month early! what a blessing! don't stress and sleep as much as you can now!! :)

I am just catching up, but saw the new article about nothing being found in MR's home. Glad they noted that he is still being cooperative. He may have shut down some to the media, but looks like he's still talking openly with LE. That's good, with the report of hiring an attorney, I was worried he'd clam up. I know it's unpopular to say anything positive, but that's one thing he's doing as I'd expect of him.

do you have a link to the article about nothing being found in MR's home?

Why would he have a pay as you go phone?

Go to my profile and pull up my past posts I put a possible theory I have in one of my recent posts but I've explained it a couple of times. Just MY ideas only. I cannot type it again as my thumbs are hurting. :floorlaugh:

matter of fact I'm going to soak them in ice water right now...doesn't everyone type with their thumbs?

But I will repeat until I can rule out a couple of my theories I will sit on my happy fence and soak my thumbs.

You got that right. And isn't it always that way, but until I see something definitive that makes me believe he is lying, I am going to go with him. I know it is not popular but I don't feel he is being deceitful. Now if and when I do, I will change my mind. jmo

"Mark Redwine said he left the house about 7:30 a.m. Nov. 19 to run errands, and that was the last time he saw his son. He returned about 11:30 a.m. to find Dylan gone. In an interview with The Denver Post, Mark Redwine said he returned to find a dirty cereal bowl near the sink, the television was on Nickelodeon, and his son’s fishing pole was missing.

Ezzell declined to comment about the statements."

I wonder why LE declined to comment.

I don't know about specific rules prohibiting a 13 year old from purchasing a pre-pay cell (you may be right) but there are pre-paid phones made just for kids like Firefly, for example. I'm looking to see what if any might be sold at Walmart or in local convenience stores, etc.

I believe you can purchase a prepaid phone at any age at Walmart, and even the dollar store...no ID required.

  • #708
I get the impression, perhaps wrongly, that some people who are suggesting that Dylan had another phone believe it came from his mom. Not that it was a secret from his mom.

  • #709
True. I'd also point out he had this lawyer in place due to prior events unrelated to
Dylan's disappearance ~ so he didn't "lawyer up" so to speak...

I am in no way pointing my finger at MR...
just trying to answer ??? my brain keeps asking!!!

I'm not even on the fence!~ I can't find the fence!

:fence: <--------- HERE it is. I'm helpful that way.

I DO know who/where the attorney of record for MR is located. It's NOT Durango. It's been referred to here ... if anyone paid attention.

 Before I get the needle or the lift off.

He had a phone for which his mother was paying. Why would he buy a prepaid phone? He is 13, he doesn't have a job and so why would he pay for a second phone of which his parents know nothing about?

Allowance?
Mom? - packed him money for his trip?
Dad?

On his fb page he "liked" a product/page called "BillMyParents" which is a prepaid MasterCard debit card for kids 13+. Parents can re-load it for their kids.

These prepaid phones can be ordered online. Maybe someone sent it to him.

It's not an impossible scenario.

thanks for posting this. I knew I had read it but wasn't sure where. I think that is kind of scary unless constantly monitored by the parent. I wouldn't give my 14 year old grandson access to that. lol

Can anybody spare a donut for the fat preggo lady over here? LOL.

I'm right up there on the fence too! :fence:

Sure, got plenty to share. :)

When did they ever confirm it? The only thing they confirmed is that he arrived at the airport, and then Wallmart.
Eta- let me rephrase! Confirmed it TO THEMSELVES. Not us, of course. I just meant maybe confirming that isn't on their radar. OR they still don't know. Or many other possibilities.

They aren't confirming a lot of things, as you said, basically whatever suits them.

Like I also said, "maybe they don't know"

I'm not being all one sided and making assertions. I'm pondering. Thus the excessive use of the word "maybe."

The reason I think LE may not know for sure if Dylan slept at the house is because it would be simple and make sense to say so, if they do. It would be the starting point for when Dylan went missing, clear and absolute, instead of the way it is now, kind of ambiguous. Why wouldn't LE want the public to know the most accurate info as to when and where he was last known to be?

(Not to mention the great favor it would be doing for Dad, if they announce they are confident he slept at the house and then vanished-they have to know he is getting slammed on the internet by people who believe he harmed Dylan on Sunday night.)

  • #716
I mean, if LE ever alluded to trying to determine if he made it to the house, something like that, when talking with her. I doubt they would have, but if she caught wind of any doubts about it, I feel she would be expressing them, or would have that second week when she was vocal.

I am not sure even LE is positive where Dylan was Sunday night. Without a witness, I don't know how they can prove where he was, especially since they waited so long to conduct forensics.

That is what I think. I don't believe they can prove it one way or another right now. Unless they took that cereal bowl into forensics the first time they looked at the house, which I highly doubt. But his fingerprints will be somewhere in the house anyway because he was there 2 months previously. And Dad was out of town for much of that time, and probably did not have any extensive cleaning done. JMO

I agree. I am not arguing with you at all. I had to have a checking acct for mine? I had a credit card but they wanted a checking acct #...
Nothing to stop a child form giving a parents or someone else's I guess...

Then again that was 6 years ago! Before the parent credit cards came out I think.

I don't doubt for a second that 13 yr olds today have enough skill to pull it off even without an adult...

I can only speak for myself as I'm trying to think of alternative theories,
as for why he would have a prepaid it would be to communicate with someone family/friends/grownups wouldn't like.... ie stranger online? someone he struck up conversation with while online gaming, that type of thing. Maybe someone who represented themselves as a "cool 17 or 18 year old " who lived near dad's house and set up an outing when Dylan was in Bayfield but wanted to keep it quiet. The turned out to be a predator.

Just a thought?

Getting harder as the days pass to figure out what's happening... :(

Of course anyone can ... age is not required. You can buy them online. It's not an excluded item (ID required) like booze and cigs.

Again, I have no idea about DR cellphone other than ER said it was a flip phone and the Admin (Ms. Hess) of the FDR facebook said it didn't have GPS = to me = old flip phone. JMO and if you believe FB :censored:, but then we get into the pick/choose crap again.

I think the same thing. I also wonder was it turned off or was the battery dead? It's my understanding if its just turned off it can still be pinged but I'm not sure if that's true.

It is...
If it was dead Dylan would have charged it when he arrived at the house.

Id like to know where the last ping was.
