Darn, for some reason I am unable to open it. Something about having to install some flash player.

When you click No to installing Adobe other options come up to read on the left.

I can't tell ya how heartbroken I am that we are still looking for Dylan. I can't help but feel his case is stalling out. LE isn't communicating much and that always makes me feel helpless.
I can't tell if its the case itself or the LE agency that makes a difference...but you certainly can see how differently this case feels from Jessica Ridgeway's case, where LE was in contact with the public daily.

I find MR at fault, even if he didn't have something to do with Dylan's disappearance. I am a mother, and if this happened on my watch, I would FEEL RESPONSIBLE. I don't see this response from MR which bothers me.

it saddens me that cases like this occur so frequently, and IMO, it's pretty obvious who is responsible, but there isn't enough evidence to lead law enforcement to the child....

just like in the case of Isabel Celis, Kyron Horman, etc.

so many children are being "disappeared" by their parents or step-parents, which I feel is what happened in Dylan's case.

I can only imagine the anguish of losing a child to illness or an accident, but to have absolutely no idea of what happened to the child....just that they vanished into thin air...has got to be totally devastating. Personally, I couldn't handle that pain.

Thanks to LE's silence...there is very little about which to post. There are other places to offer prayers, etc...but for WS purposes, I can't think of anything that has not been introduced two dozen times. I have no opinion on MR whatsoever, as far as any guilt with regards to Dylan's disappearance.

Am just so tired of these baffling cases, where the child is gone, and nothing ever happens again. And I have no answers. I don't believe the FBI adds much to the chances of resolving these cases. My faith in LE as far as child disappearances is not very high. They don't leave a trail. Just gone.

Even if they have proof he was there, that isn't going to help much at this point, IMO. Yes, I thought of a toothbrush, but if he packed up all of his things, he may have taken it with him. And it seems they did not do more than a visual search until 10 days or so later, so probably food dishes were put away, etc.

The silence from LE combined with the inability or at least LE not making a point to rule out MR makes me believe that LE knows very little that will be helpful in locating Dylan. Even if they have gleaned out a few facts. It is 5 weeks now, for crying out loud.

Well, if they had proof that he was there that night, it sure would put all the theories that he never made it to the house to rest, wouldn't it?

How do we know that LE is not making it a point to rule him out? We can't know what they're doing behind the scenes. Sometimes these types of cases can take years to solve. Maybe they're looking at people and places away from that area with the possibility that someone could be hiding Dylan. You never know.

Five weeks ago tomorrow Elaine put her baby on a plane expecting him back in a week but he has yet to be returned to her. Thanksgiving and has came and went and we are only days from Christmas now. There is a monster out there that knows where Dylan is and can put an end to this. It is past time for him to do so.

No, you never know. I just have great doubts.

:christmastree::toast::talker:Let's hope that the person who knows what happened to Dylan gets invited to a Christmas party with plenty of booze flowing and someone willing to lend an ear.

I'm sure he will eventually slip up, I just hope whoever is around to hear it is not some starry-eyed girlfriend who can't see the forest for the trees! :moo:

This case seems to be getting colder and colder. Surely LE need to keep people interested in bringing Dylan home and yet nada ,zilch.

It is a shame that justice may never be found for him :(

:waitasec::what: I didn't know that IC's parents had anything to do with her disappearance. Has there been an arrest or an announcement? tia

Sunday - 11/18/12
Dylan picked up at airport by MR
Picture of Dylan at Walmart not released until later - see below
Dylan's phone shut down (how? who knows) sometime after 8 pm

Monday - 11/19/12
Dylan reported missing sometime between 5-6 pm

Monday - 11/26/12
Elaine spoke to ABC and voiced her concerns about MR

Tuesday - 11/27/12
Vigil held
MR arrives late
First time MR speaks to media

Wednesday - 11/28
LE says not a runaway

Thursday - 11/29
MR's house and vehicle searched
Official interview of MR by LE

12/4/12
Photos of Dylan released

12/8/12
Last big search

I don't have the date for LE saying that the investigation is criminal - saying Dylan was possible abducted or met with foul play. I believe they said they were looking this way early on (2nd day of investigation, I think).

So my questions remain:

Did Dylan make it to his dad's house on Sunday?

Did the tracking dogs pick up Dylan's scent at his dad's house and, if so, where did the scent lead to?

NEW Question:

Why wasn't dad begging the public for information???
He did not make a public appearance or speak to the media until 8 days after Dylan was reported missing and after ER voiced her concerns...WHY???

MR was the last person to see/talk Dylan. No one has stepped forward to provide anything differently.

So my eyes are still on MR until LE releases further evidence.

It is intriguing that on the facebook page that people have asked some questions and as far as i am aware none have been answered so far.

So either the facebook admin ( of the page) does not know the answer or they are not allowed to say.

Thank you :)

I get why they are staying lets stay positive but its not that simply when you look at the time passed and absolutely no clues to his whereabouts .

I think part of it is that the FB admin knows both parents and is probably trying to keep the lines of communication open with both. If FB becomes a "lynch MR" page then MR might stop talking. Not that he's saying anything useful anyhow, but...keep your friends close and your enemies closer, right? It is obvious MR and ER don't talk but if MR talks to ER's best pal in the Bayfield area, then maybe something somehow will come of it. Lots of posts there aiming for the Shawn Hornbeck scenario, I think, or the MR has him stashed somehwere line of thought.

Wasn't Shawn Hornbeck raped for 4 years? And he later spoke out and said it was "worse than death". It is hard for me to wish for that. JMO

I would want answer also if I lived in the area.

Is there an ABDUCTOR among them?

For more than a month now, investigators have searched that area. A task force remains active and this week they brought a bloodhound from New Mexico to do spot searches. Those searches have turned up nothing.

Authorities also tracked down the rest of the sex offenders they wanted to talk to who were registered in the area.

All had alibis at the time Dylan disappeared
.

BBM

Where does this leave the investigation?

Bloodhounds spot searches turned up nothing. The video says the hounds can catch a scent that is up to 6 weeks old. What does this mean? Was Dylan not at all in the Vallecito area? Did they take the hounds to dad's house?

No wonder the town's people are demanding answers.
