I have to disagree. I think they might be able to find a safe place for him with a distant relative. Just depends on what was going on in those sealed documents.

It has always seemed strange that the very morning of Dylans visit with dad...dad has to leave him for an appointment with his attorney. Really. When is enough with the attorneys.

Something is just not right.

Honestly I can see this being set up the night Dylan arrived and was so unhappy his did wouldn't take him to see his friend.

I can see ER just having enough and doing something to end Dylans misery with dad.

And I can see it as the perfect plan. MR takes off to see his attorney and one of ER's relatives..friends swoops down and off they go.

I hope and pray that is what happened.

Consequences...you might ask...heck ER would be a hero to every woman in America that has had to deal with a loser like MR. And to every child being pulled in two directions.

MOO of course.

I know I would be happy about that, but fear that isn't the case.

I think more people need to be more aware right now as the holidays are here once again, and keep there children real close. If a perp was in the area for the holidays last time who is to say he wouldn't return for Christmas.

OT, but watching one of those shows on ID channel and the detective is talking about the case; he says it has been four days, I have to get to everyone possible while memories are fresh. Not a case like Dylan's, but it is a small town and this detective basically interviews the entire town himself.

That(random perp) is who I am talking about, I don't think either parent could keep Dylan hiden and not be caught.

I hate to quote myself but I want to make this clear, I dont think either could keep him hidden and not get caught if he was alive.

I wish that had happened so quick!

I'm really sorry to keep quoting your posts, but I tend to agree with almost everything you post on Dylan's thread. My apologies :rocker:

This post, especially. As I posted earlier today, if Dylan spent the night at MR's and was in fact last seen at 7:30 Monday morning -- why so silent on the 7:30am - 11:30am Monday time period??
THIS is the four hour window when the crime took place and the locals need to have that specific information made clear. I think people might get focused on looking only for Dylan, but they need to be on the look out for the person(s) responsible.... someone who was unaccounted for during this time, someone whose behavior changed around this time, someone whose daily patterns changed on/after that day, etc.

Like you said, memories fade. Time's a-tickin'. Someone knows something. They might not know they know something, because they're not being given the parameters by LE.

LE requested recreational video from between 6pm sunday night and midday monday, if the timeline was only 7.30am to 11.30am why were they so interested in the 13.5 hours prior to that time? IMO they were suspicious and didn't take the story MR told them as being gospel truth.

I look in different directions and still come back to sunday night.

Did I read something from one of Dylan's friends about their hitch-hiking or did I imagine reading that? I think it was in the last couple of days. Can't remember if that was someone's speculation or directly from a friend.

I happen to agree but I can see an argument being made that LE was covering all bases trying to confirm everything for themselves, looking to see if anyone was following MR and Dylan, if anything was suspicious, etc.
I also come back to Sunday night but I have far more questions than answers.

Say what you will, I to live in this area, grew up in this area, shop in this area, and have friends in this area, many of their family lives on the res, and alot of the older generation does not leave the res.

  • #250
Really you don't believe this? I know there are many that do not leave the res.

No, I do not believe that for a moment.

I know for a fact the Native Americans can come and go as THEY please. Most, if not all, do leave every single day for work.

Why you keep bringing up the NA is beyond me.

Yes they can come and go as THEY please, but many of them are pleased to stay on the reservation. I bring it up because it is also another thing that local police do not have access to. Many do leave for work every day, but as I stated before the older generations often would rather stay on the res.

Discount it if you like. As for be bringing up NA is because the reservations are local, they are part of the make up of the community, and they make this area alot of what it is.

So do I and I don't believe you for a moment. IMO. What the heck NA have to do with DR case is just nonsense.

They are part of the community, and if any of them might of seen anything they may not know to report it is what I was getting at.

I see it as they are just as much a part of the community as anyone else and some may not be aware that Dylan is missing if they don't leave the res, or if they only leave occasionally.

Someone might have seen something or heard something thats pertinent to the case.

I don't see how it can be discounted, its more relevant than some other ideas.

NOT true because the FBI is involved. Did you miss that? The FEDS are involved.

Ok that did not cross my mind. I appreciate you pointing that out.

IMO somebody living in an indigenous community would be just as worried about a missing child as anyone else - they would hardly be immune to all the publicity and pleas for help.

But it was true because I did say LOCAL police.

Of course. The NA don't live an isolated life. They have TV/newspapers just like anyone. The NA can come and go as they please, to work, to get healthcare, shop, school, etc.

Some may as one of our friends that lives on a local res, has a home with no electricity(means no TV and no radio).

But it was true because I did say LOCAL police.

The LOCAL police brought in the FEDS. The Feds can go anywhere in our 50 states. Anywhere.
