I dont think he was there either!

dont you think if MR took a poly and passed he would have said something esp after what Elaine has said.

I just think if he passed he and le would have said so and cleared the guy!

JMO

I agree that if it could be proven we would know as it puts a different slant on things imo.

If it is a random perp then where are the pleas to the public for help in locating him as its been very quiet for the last 3 or so weeks . IMHO.

For me, the reason is twofold:

#1: There really isn't anything new to discuss

and

B: I just can't get on the 'Dad is guilty of something' bandwagon. I will agree that he has to be thoroughly investigated because he was the last one known to be with Dylan, but something about this case just seems 'off' to me.... and it's not all about the dad. JMO

BBM: Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! This has been exactly my feeling since the beginning. Something is off and it's not about Dad. Something else went on. I don't know what, I'm been wracking my brain to come up with other ideas but each gets poo poo'd and ridiculed. Something is off.

I was searching trying to find info on the nerf football and ran across this, it bothered me when I first read it and it still makes me go hmmmmm. IDK about you all, but who answers the door clutching a pillow? Don't you typically put it off to the side and get up to answer the door? Unless maybe you were carrying it as the doorbell rang. Again, just another hmmmmmmmm

When approached at his home in Vallecito, Mark Redwine answered the door clutching a pillow. He declined to be interviewed, saying he had been “bombarded” by media requests.

Hi azgrandma,

I keep reading what you wrote here and I'm not sure I'm understanding what relevance you are putting on MR clutching a pillow and making you go hmmmmm?

The above is all well and good tho, I'm altogether confused on how it has a dang thing to do with MR's drinking and behaviors..

THE comment of which you quoted makes zero claim of MR being an EVERYDAY DRINKER..so not sure how this even relates to the comment either..
<SNIP>
I apologize. I think I post too much as it is, and I didn't think it was necessary to quote everybody who had posted about MR's alleged drinking problem/habits before responding. I'll try to be more careful in the future.

if it were me I'd piff the pillow onto a chair or sofa before answering the door.

its funny I've read that article before but didn't notice this

'Neighbors expressed suspicion Tuesday afternoon that foul play may be involved.

wow I wonder why the neighbours thought that so quickly?

Yes, exactly. In the article about the pillow a woman, B., was quoted as saying that people wouldn't come to Vallecito looking for children...that there was one way in and one way out and they had no play grounds. :moo:

Lol, unless the prosecution misses the searches altogether.

I know. I still find that so unbelievable. They had what they needed the whole time and blew it. It sure took all doubt away with how Caylee died. :(

I have problems with these cases where the last person known to see a missing person wont say if they passed a poly or not.

As I see it if they passed they would be screaming it!

If they didnt take one why not?

Rule yourself out and move on.
jmo

But LE is not discussing the results of the polygraph of either parent. What good does it do for them to say if they passed or not? How would Dylan's mom know if MR passed or not? Does LE discuss that with the parents?

If we are going to speculate, and if MR's test was inconclusive, it may be because he was the parent taking care of his son what parent wouldn't feel responsible even if he wasn't directly responsible. We really have no idea about the tests imo.

<RS>

Because why would LE let a innocent man be hung out to dry if they can stop it ?- what would be the point !

LE have never come out and said Dylan was there that night and if they have prove of that then i think they would say so as they have no reason not to.

IMHO -

LE seems to be unconcerned per general "clean up". Ever been to a house after it's been searched? Or a crime scene- they don't clean that up either. They don't seem to clean up reputations. Many innocent people have unfortunately been hung out to dry for numerous reasons. Their job is to solve a crime imo.

I also think there is more to this than the dad lost his temper and did something by accident. MR has a bad history, so it makes you think he's involved with something. maybe as simple as jealousy/revenge.
but what is the mystery? what's missing?

I wonder how many of us would then be charged as accomplices.

LOL If something happened around here and LE went through my computer, I'm in deep. I'd go to jail so fast. Doing searches for these different cases leaves a lot of "evidence" behind.

And usually by rather a good looking team of LE officers. Men who swagger and women in heels (my pet hate .... why do they put them in heels???)
:)

And did you notice that the only time they don't wear heels is when they know they are going to have to run after and apprehend a suspect??? Then they wear jogging shoes and slacks and a T-type shirt. They must have ESP to know to dress like that that day. :floorlaugh:

Yes but Elaine made it perfectly clear she took one and passed it!
Even if LE dosent say anything!

Why wouldnt dad do the same?

Dirty dishes, laundry, PHONE PINGS, internet activity text messages
neighbors, fingerprints,.

Well I think I'm in the same boat as MR though ... even down to the inactive phones. Sure mine is pinging away, but as I said earlier there are 2 dead phones buried somewhere among clothes or other boy stuff! Neither charged for weeks at a time. So add to that my lax housekeeping skills and a street where we all value our privacy, I could easily be put on the spot!

But I do have to fess up - both sons were glued to laptops playing WOW online (grrr they are obsessed with it!). I just fancied leaving that bit out for dramatic effect. -_- I still think its tough to prove you were home alone with someone, especially if you've done nothing wrong and weren't expecting to be asked for proof :moo:

off how?

8pm sunday night is the last contact anyone has with Dylan.

would it be less or more suspicious had Dylan disappeared right before he was due to leave Vallecito to return home. IMO it would seem to be more suspicious.

It is amazing to me too that when going back in the threads for research I see id's of posters who in the beginning were heavily posting and now not so much if at all. jmo

With little information given, we can only keep going around in circles. I think within these now 22 threads, we have pretty much gone over just about everything we can think of. I know I personally have given alternating theories and reasoning for such.

That and the holidays with family has made me slower in posting. Although I do keep reading and hoping for NEW info, but more importantly keep praying that somehow Dylan will be found!

If there are new ideas to hash out I'm all for it! I do love reading everyone's ideas and challenging my own theories.
I love being a part of WS even if we disagree at times that's just part of being a family right?:grouphug:

frankly, she went on the nancy grace show... and in keeping with that Nancy "sensationalized" the moment.

So what if he didn't do what mom did??? What does that mean?:twocents::twocents::twocents:

Amber Dubois' step father I am sure can relate to what Mark Redwine is going through imhoo.

Ok, so now you know for future info, just in case they push you over the edge, and you decide to dispose of the annoying offspring, all you need to do is sit and play WOW for several hour afterwards, and you have your alibi.

I could be wrong as i am not good at knowing this stuff so please ignore if this is wrong.

If Dylan did spend the night then there should be at least some DNA imo.

For example he slept on the settee and would of surely had a pillow and a blanket/duvet cover as it would of been cold. And as he had not been there in months , one would think they was clean on that day so nobody else should be on them besides Dylan and MR?

So there is DNA proof right there i would of thought , from hair, skin and anything else the human body sheds .
