I believe the case will only be solved if something major happens (finding Dylan's body with some sort of evidence of what happened), someone slips and says something to someone, etc. I remember watching some crime show on tv where the detective said something to the effect that many times there are usually a minimum of three people who wind up knowing what happened (the victim, the perpetrator, and someone the perpetrator tells). I just hope that happens, otherwise the case will probably go cold. I think there is already some circumstantial evidence, but not enough to put together a strong enough case for a conviction. MOO
Personally IMO, nothing can be really be gleaned by anything LE has said or not said. They have not publicly ruled anyone out, they have not definitively said what happened (other than it is a criminal investigation), they have not released much of anything regarding the search warrant, lie detector tests, etc.
I guess we will continue going round and round on the same little bits of information. I do believe something happened to Dylan on Sunday night and that much of the remainder of Sunday night and Monday were spent covering the tracks. That's my opinion, it doesn't mean I don't hope to be wrong, and that I don't hope with every fiber of my being that Dylan is being held somewhere and will be found someday.
