Elaine clearly has a camera so if it's a trip of the lifetime then you would just lend him that one or buy him one as they are not expensive .

IMO - you do not do a trip like that and then not take any photos . Everybody takes photos of anything now . It's the norm !

The only thing I can think of is that MR doesn't have a camera, but that wouldn't undo the fact that this trip was probably (in theory) one of the coolest trips Dylan ever took (in theory) and he would no doubt want a few pictures from the trip. I don't know- camera phones, disposable throw away cameras, borrow moms- something.

If there's one thing I know, it's baseball and Dylan clearly loves baseball... A kid from Colorado going cross country to Fenway Park - that's the trip of a lifetime! and that kid's gonna want pictures in front of the green monster, of himself as close as he can get to the field, watching the game, smiling excitedly with a hotdog in hand a Boston hat on the head.

I don't expect MR to have a flickr account and framed vacation photos, but I would think Dylan would have really wanted pictures and MR would've made that happen on this super cool trip.

I find it strange that Dylan would of had a trip of a life time and yet it's never been mentioned by anybody but MR . Why has nobody else mentioned this trip in reference to what a wonderful father he was ?!

RS&BBM

I'm sure if it never happened, we would have heard by now. MOO

I do not believe that Dylan's mom has an agenda, except to find her son, and what happened to him. Why would she want to have LE look at MR, if she suspected he had been taken by a stranger? She wants him back.

I am having a hard time understanding this. Just because pictures are not on the FB page does not mean they don't exist. For all we know his whole house is lined with pictures. Why do we just assume the worst of MR when we know very little of him. Actually only things both x wives has said. jmo

This past spring, my family took a trip of a lifetime to Surprise, AZ to watch our beloved Texas Rangers spring training. I have maybe 3 or 4 pictures. It's not something I focus on. Besides, both my kids aren't big on having pictures made and usually photobomb by sticking out their tongue or something. We have a family portrait done and that's plenty.

Who's to say there aren't any pictures of a trip, just because they can't be sleuthed and found by people. I highly doubt that's the primary concern of the Dylans parents right now.

Dylan's mom said he was looking forward to going to his dads and seeing his friends on the NG interview.

Geez........

Because at the moment the only person to mention the trip is MR , so how am I meant to know it was not a PR stunt to make himself look good and it never happened unless somebody else mentions it ?!

Also Elaine also has said MR could of hurt Dylan if Dylan did something he did not like .

OT. I love the Rangers too and how lucky you are to go to spring training. jmo

With Facebook , twitter , instagram and many other media oppertunitys kids now record most things . Just like how there is a video from Dylan's friends of the summer they spent together . And with Elaine not being on the trip I am sure like the majority of parents she would of wanted to see pictures of her son on holiday .

just off work & caught up on the news...

regarding the evidence rec'd back from the CO Bureau of Investigation and law enforcement stating they aren't going to discuss that since it's still an active investigation makes me think the evidence is important...

if it wasn't related to Dylan's case I think they would have said that.

O/T OMG, it was amazing. I've been a Ranger fan since I was little. My husband is also. It seriously was amazing. I was like a kid in a candystore. My boys got Michael Young's (:() autograph and Yu Darvishes as well. Totally amazing.

Where did I say Mark should put them up?

I said Elaine you would of thought would of put some up . I am sure on such a road trip loads of photos would of been taken and some of them I am sure would of only had Dylan in them .

I find it strange that Dylan would of had a trip of a life time and yet it's never been mentioned by anybody but MR . Why has nobody else mentioned this trip in reference to what a wonderful father he was ?!

If I truly believed, or knew, that a particular person had murdered my child, I don't care what their relationship had been with my child in the past, I would NOT be posting pictures of them with my child, anywhere!

I wouldn't expect Gabriel Johnson's family to post 'loving' pictures of him on a website with his uterine donor who disappeared him!

I wouldn't expect ANY of the families who have had children murdered to post 'loving' pics of their children with their murderer.

I am NOT saying that MR murdered Dylan. I AM saying that if Dylan's mother and everyone responsible for maintaining a website BELIEVE that is what likely happened, how can they be expected to post those pics?

MR had a computer at his house. He had Internet access. I understand he CHOSE not to make a FaceBook account or any other public account where he could proudly post pictures of his wonderful son having great times with him. But that is HIS choice

IF, emphasis on IF, he complained or whined that HIS pictures didn't get posted on a website that is sympathetic to Elaine and maintained by her friends, then, IMO, that is one more sign that he has an "unusual" fixation on control and need for attention.

I'd say if he wants those pictures posted for public viewing, he needs to get his own arse in gear and get it done!

ETA: and even if only Dylan was in the picture, if it were me, I would be sickened by knowing this was taken BY the person I believed had murdered my child. Not a chance.

I haven't heard one word of complaint from him about the pictures not being posted, only from members here. MOO

I think most would find it odd to take such a trip and not have any pictures. Just because some folks like to point out their own unusual behavior doesn't seem relevant to me because when we have no verification/facts of any kind, it becomes reasonable to look at a situation as in what most people would do in the same circumstances...not keep looking into fringe possibilities.

I 100% agree with you .

is it possible DR said negative things about MR in court during the custody sorting out before the move and MR retaliated?

Who is it that decides what is unusual behavior? I find it unusual to post page after page of pictures of a child (infant or teen) with information about what the child's name is, who the parents are, sometimes exact addresses and sometimes just general area, age, interests, etc. in a place where it could conceivably be seen by millions of strangers, trust worthy or not. That doesn't mean that many parents don't do it with no privacy settings at all. I have a lot of pictures of my boys when they were young, but almost none from trips/vacations we took. I even took my grandmother on what she said was the trip of her dreams, and we only took 2 pictures. (one was a picture of 2 puppies in a cage that we saw.) To each his own, again. MOO

I agree. I think it much more likely he simply told the judge he wanted
to live with his mom and exactly why, as the judge would want supporting reasoning for that. Not negatives about his dad but positives about his life in Colorado Springs.

And I think it likely that MR "perceived" that as an insult, or at least a HUGE disappointment.

I'm not trying to get personal with this, but there is a such thing as "norm" and in our society today, photographs are so simple that "most" everyone is taking a pic of something routinely in this day and age.
"Most" people are also familiar with the internet, social media and various sites where photos are accessible by friends and family without placing their child in "danger".
Taking pictures isn't a big deal. I don't understand why those who point out they don't take pictures aren't thinking that is a little strange. Who doesn't want important memories of happy times and once in a lifetime opportunities preserved? I'm nearly 60 and my GRANDMOTHER was an avid photographer in her day. Photographs are important. Those who don't have anything to look back on or anything for their children/grandchildren to look back on will probably realize this with the passage of time.
It may be "to each his own" but there is are "trends" and photo technology is one of those trends. Most folks are excited to utilize these wonderful tools.
