MR should suck it up because what he is going though is no near as bad as Dylan and Its totally selfish IMO to put yourself before your sons well being MOO!

Actions like these make him look even more suspicious IMHO!

I wonder how he would feel to hear that his mom accused his dad of harming him. IMO

And I wonder how he would feel if he heard what so many others were saying about his Dad harming him. What if he comes home. What if he's alive and in addition to what he's already been through, he has to deal with so many people, along with his mother, thinking his father was so low that he'd harm him. Whatever he's going through, more has been added and that's a shame. JMO

Weird...so did I, and I never do. It was beyond weird, it was truly bizarre.

So did I. I don't believe in psychic stuff, but the dream seemed so real, even for a long time after I woke up.

Another father up for scrutiny was Steve Lamar, but he handled it well, especially with his prior legal transgressions. He brought it to the media's attention before his past was dug up. Even though he and Marlene were divorced and she had moved on to a live-in boyfriend, they continue to show a united front. Marlene is the family spokesperson, and Steve prefers to be in the background.

Scott Peterson did interviews, lots of them in which he professed his innocence over and over again. And we no know he killed Laci and Connor. So willingness to do interviews to protest innocence doesn't mean much, but leave you open to all kinds of accusations instead, so why would Mark be willing to do that. As I said, everyone in CO knows Dylan is missing and his face is out there.

Where I am, except for the NG item, there has been no media coverage of Dylan's disappearance. Elaine and Cory's last interview did not reach here.

MR has obviously made his decision to cooperate with LE, giving them what they want and just let Elaine and Cory take care of the interviews.

I have so believed all this time that Dylan was alive that it will devastate me if he's not. I can't even imagine what his parents would feel. JMO

Yes he did.

What concerns me the most with the interviews is that once again ER made MR the focus instead of Dylan.

Dylan needs to be the focus. People tend to tune out or downright ignore interviews where the focus is not on the missing person.

They need to leave the mudslinging at the door.

It would have been nice had Mark and Elaine stood as a united front in this but I guess it wasn't in the cards. He avoided her to start with, she went on national tv and made statements that he was capable of harming Dylan, he made statements that he felt they should work together (which got taken to mean he wanted to get back together with her by a lot of people), he had an interview in which he asked that Dylan be found and brought home and that people not keep the focus on him (which got taken as he was putting the focus on himself), then he went silent because nothing he was doing was effective in finding his son, except staying out of the way and working with LE.

ICA w/u. It needs to be left at the door. It's not too late for them to work together for the benefit of their child. I hope too much water hasn't gone under that bridge.

It seems the media is more interested in asking questions of both MR and ER about their relationship rather than to talk about Dylan. They need to not take the bait and keep the focus where it belongs. They need to deflect those questions and get the focus on Dylan and not answer any of those questions.

I just can't think of a realistic scenario in which he is alive, in great part due to his age. The only way I can imagine is if he left by choice and had a plan and a person to live with, but I don't really believe that.

If he really left that house under his own power, i am not totally convinced that he did not meet with an accident of some sort and simply has not been found. That seems more likely to me than the evil monster being right there, at the exact right moment. But LE ruling this out so quickly makes me think they know more about the status of his phone.

I am also not convinced that he is still working with LE. I've seen nothing that appears to be recent from LE about his cooperation, just the standard reprints from media.

How can MR be cooperating if he is refusing a polygraph ?

This is in reference to Cory's video comment about him refusing to take one .

To be quite honest, I am more interested in the interview he gave, without a lawyer present with the task force members.

I am truly concerned with respect to the HRD hits.

Having different dogs on different days having hits is not good.

He needs to be home, with his family. Sigh.

The odds on Dylan being alive at this stage are slim to none IMO

If LE believed this then I think they would be doing a lot more than they are. They are not pleading for his safe return or being urgent in any sense .

Does LE ever "plead" for someone's safe return? That seems rather unprofessional to me. MOO

A lot of things are done differently there than they're done here from what I've seen. MOO
