I had a dream about Dylan last night that is really bothering me. I know we don't do psychic stuff and I absolutely do not claim to be psychic, but it really bothered me and felt incredibly vivid.
I don't care who needs to do what-someone needs to find him and let him be at peace.

Why so much venom? I'm honestly curious.

I am just beside myself at the notion of a parent of a missing child refusing a media interview, when we have read so many heartbreaking stories here at WS about parents desperate for media, who are completely ignored.

Weird...so did I, and I never do. It was beyond weird, it was truly bizarre.

I'm a person who goes on facts, not rumor by others. The reporter stated at the end he did take a polygraph. JMO

If that polygraph was inconclusive (as ER indicated on Nancy Grace) then police would want him to take another one.

They were not with him when he went missing!
I've never seen anything stating that MR was with him when he went missing either.

How can MR be cooperating if he is refusing a polygraph ?

This is in reference to Cory's video comment about him refusing to take one .

Cory may have said that he refuses to take one, but LE has said that both parents took one and continue to cooperate. I guess we can all choose to believe whoever we want to. MOO

I'm sure they'll be more than happy to give him an interview, if and when he decides it's in the best interest of the return of his son to do so. But for right now, what I see is all his words being twisted to mean something he never said.

He doesn't "owe" the news media anything. So far, they have done him no favors. Nothing he's done to date has gotten his son returned to him.

And, he's still cooperating with LE, which is what is going to get his son back. The people in his community know Dylan is missing and what he looks like. And they are on the lookout. Word has gotten out regardless of him giving interviews.

What would really count in getting the word out about Dylan would be a press release or conference from LE. That's what Mark should be working on, not appeasing nosey people who just want to twist his words and judge him. JMBOO.

So should Ed Smart have refused to do interviews because he did not like what people were saying about him? And because, up until that point, it had not resulted in her return?

Good grief, man, speak out for your child.JMO

I don't get it when some parents don't talk to the media because -gasp-someone online might say something that isn't 100% positive. Don't google yourself, and you won't read it.

I understand that. If I was him, I wouldn't want to be interviewed. The media doesn't HAVE to interview someone to get the story out there. They just want to so they can edit it the way they want for more ratings. MOO

I have heard Dad has taken 1 or 2 and then refused to take a 3rd. I have mixed feelings if so.

Again, I will take my info from LE, not someone who has already accused him of harming their son. If LE states he's being cooperative, then I believe he's being cooperative. Period.

There is a big difference between saying he's not a very good father and that he murdered his son. Big difference. He's get 12 people who feel that way, he goes to prison for years for something he didn't do. Anything he does and says can be used against him later, and a little thing like being innocent doesn't seem to matter to the people -gasp- online.

Aren't polygraphs voluntary? If so then I don't believe LE will say you are not co-operating by declining.

Does anyone have the most recent date that LE stated that MR was still cooperating? Not a reprint sentence from media that is impossible to date, but from LE?

I have seen LE say people are not cooperating if they refuse a polygraph though in other cases. However, that doesn't mean that MR is cooperating. I think LE has definitely indicated that MR is cooperating, but that could be because he is, or because they want him to feel like he got away with something. Like, lulling him into a false sense of security rather than openly declaring him uncooperative and a suspect.

What the media wants would be the LAST thing on my mind; i would be so willing for the chance to talk about, and hopefully to my child, via the media, my own issues would not come in to play for an instant, perhaps at my detriment, but my feelings of innocence, outrage, terror for my child, etc. would surpass anything else. Maybe it seems harsh of me, but I am disgusted that MR is refusing interviews, pouting or whatever the H he is doing, ignoring his older son and Dylan's frantic mother.

No, but couldn't they say he's refusing to take one if that was the case?

I've only heard ER, or people who heard it from her, say that he didn't pass his first one, or that he was asked to take a second one. I've never heard/seen anyone say he took a second one. Do you have a link for any of that? TIA (I really haven't seen much of anything by LE and keep hoping there's more out there that I've missed.)

It was on facebook so take it as rumor.

I guess he is worried about it since it happened and it didn't get Dylan any closer to be returned so there would be no need for it. IMO Elaine and Cody giving interviews hasn't gotten Dylan returned either.

so, ya just give up, eh?

MOO is NO, you don't just give up.. so, too was the major heat on Mark Lunsford, Steve Groene, and even Ed Smart.. yet did you see these FATHERS just close up shop because of ANYONE(including LE in some of these cases) were highly suspicious of them?..

Did you see them laying low because of what the public, media, LE thought of them?

The answer is no and IMO none of the proposed excuses for why Dylan's father has chosen to lay low hold a drop of water..STRICTLY MOO!

eta: my use of "you" is speaking in general as ALL OF US..
