I never said I would quit my job and become homeless while searching. I just said I would never stop!

Psychic - that wasn't directed at you :blowkiss:

I, apparently, just feel like writing/typing/sharing tonight. I was honestly just thinking about what do you do? It must be so, so difficult. It seems to me - I would resent every distraction, every obligation and every responsibility that got in my way - so I was kind of talking myself through that, because its not realistic, kwim?

I believe you when you say you would do everything in your power, for as long as it takes. So would I. Not a doubt.

Can we be 100% certain MR was the last person to see Dylan?

BBM

I haven't read anything in MSM where MR has used the word abducted. From the article below, it appears that MR may believe 1 of 2 things happened.

1) Something happened at the lake
2) Dylan was hitchking and a stranger picked him up (reporter's words) and Dylan is "not in the area" (MR's words)

http://www.denverpost.com/recommended/ci_22063185

Reporter: Mark Redwine said Sunday that he hadn't been able to find the boy's fishing rod.

MR: "I question why it has taken this long to start scouring the lake because from Day One they have known it is likely he had a fishing pole with him," Redwine, 52, said.

Reporter: Information he received from the boy's friends suggests that Dylan was hitchhiking when he disappeared, Redwine said.

MR: "It sounds to me like he's not even in the area," he said.

Reporter: He said he is concerned that a stranger could have picked up the teen and abducted him.

Thank you for so eloquently saying what I could not, Tx! :tyou:

Nope. If he killed him then yes. If Dylan was abducted by a stranger then he would be the last person to see him before this happened most likely.

Obviously none of us can say with 100% certainty that we know what happened.

I just wanted to post and let you all know that apparently this baby is too stubborn to come on her own so I am being induced on the night of the 14th (that's tomorrow night here in AUS). I'm praying that while this is happening, Dylan will be found. :please:

I was reading up thread and the subject of media attention was discussed.

I thought if anybody wants to know how to get media attention they need to analize Cindy Anthony.

She had all the media attention in the world?

So what made her so followable? Why did her every word and movement gain her and Casey's case attention and national headlines?

Is there something to be learned there or was it just THAT family that drew the publics attention to every single detail for two years.

It was just that family and that crazy case! That is one of those cases that will never get old. Especially after the outrageous outcome of the trial.

Wishing you luck! I bet your time on here will be greatly reduced soon....LOL.....Unless you can use the computer and breastfeed/bottle at the same time :)

MR is the last person known to have seen Dylan.

Maybe someone else saw/took,Dylan.
Or maybe the last face he saw was his father's.

We may never know, at this rate.

I just wanted to clarify something here. Just because some of us refuse to accuse MR of murdering his son based on what is known at this time (by the public, who knows what evidence LE has?), that doesn't necessarily mean that we believe he has to be innocent.

I happen to be the kind of person who likes to base my opinions on facts rather than intuition. If I have a problem with my computer, for example, I look at all possible causes of the problem, figure out how likely each is, and try to rule them out one at a time until I determine which one is correct. I do the same thing when I have car problems, when one of my birds seems under the weather, when my own health seems to be deteriorating, and most other things in my life.

In my mind, pretty much every scenario involving MR has been brought up at least once, and most many more than once. I'm not saying that one of those ideas isn't correct, but I personally feel the need to look at all of the possible scenarios that don't involve him too (although I won't post those that violate TOS) before I'm willing to decide which one is the most likely. Even doing things my way will obviously not always come up with the correct answer, but I'll at least feel like I looked at it from all sides.

Not everybody needs to do things like I do; I'm terrible at making decisions most of the time for the same reason. I'm usually willing to change my mind if I'm presented with solid evidence that I'm wrong, but I'm also usually satisfied with my decisions once I do make one. MOO

LOL thank you! Oh I will be learning how to to feed and be on here at the same time! You all can't get rid of me that easy, sorry! The iPad should make it easier as it's a bit more compact! I will always try to be here for Dylan.

Yes, same with JonBenet's case. I don't think you can follow some "model" that those cases set, and expect to get the same amount of coverage. Especially when those two cases (Ramsey and Anthony) are very different from each other, yet still managed to both receive massive coverage.

This is sad but true. And the older a case gets the less the media wants it. It's not 'breaking news' any more and there are always new missing persons cases that are hot off the press and much more exciting.

This is why I'm glad to see Elaine trying to get out there before people lose interest.

I agree. Now if MR would get out there the case would get a lot of renewed interest!
C'mon mark! Step up to the plate! Please! Your flesh and blood is missing! Help him!

YES. This. I am so the same way. I admit I do have a theory, but mostly my inability to blame MR is based on the lack of proof. I need to believe without reasonable doubt that someone is guilty. So far there's no reasonable doubt. I totally feel MR is an 🤬🤬🤬 and a bad father, but those things don't automatically equal guilty of murder in my eyes. Thank you, Confusion, for expressing what I feel so much better than I could over the past 25 threads.

How long to you expect to be in the hospital?

Thank you :) If everything goes well, just 3 days in hospital. I will enjoy my time in there lol, and will hopefully have you guys to distract me when I get bored.

So, really, what is he gonna do that MR and CR haven't already? Honestly if we look into this for real...

ER & CR have an interview and what was it mostly about? MR's lack of contact with them.

Interview with MR would likely focus on his response to ER and CR's interview. So where the heck is Dylan in all this??? You can ask for media coverage all you want, but it's the media who is going to decide which is the bigger story, the missing kid or the fireworks between family members pointing the finger at each other. I don't post here anymore, but wanted to stop by for a minute to wish you the very best. God bless you and the wee one ... about to be born. Best to you and yours. <3

Maybe if MR would become involved with ER and CR together, that would put focus in a different direction. But he is not doing that. This is what makes me suspicious, along with several other things......
