I have never believed a fishing pole existed ......not old.....not new......
not missing.
MR probably has fishing poles. People don't keep them in the house. They are usually kept in the garage or a shed. What gets me is, when he came home and Dylan was gone, why would he think to look and see if a pole were missing? It makes no sense to me.
There is a whole lot that doesn't add up. I know if i was under the radar I would want to provide answers. Then again I would be doing it to find my Child so i could be cleared and LE could move on. My Family and Community wouldn't be left hanging either :banghead:

IF you were innocent. Think of the flip side.
I have a question about cadaver dogs. How long can they trace a scent for? A week, two weeks, a year?
Dylan wasn't there, he thought he might be fishing. If you think that, you can either walk down to the lake or just see if his fishing pole is missing.
Since his pole was missing, he figured he was fishing.
Depends on the dog. Some are trained to alert many years after a person dies. MOO.

Guilty people have been "spending all their time looking for their child" too - if for no other reason than to insert themselves into the investigation and try to steer it in the wrong direction, or get a heads-up if the cops are on to them.
I feel like IF Dylan is dead and IF MR did it, he is in the lake. I don't feel like he was killed at the lake though. I have thought and thought about how he could transport a body and LE cadaver dogs not pick up a scent in his vehicles. Surely LE would have used cadaver dogs on his vehicles, no? I've wondered if he had a small trailer or something available to him. Perhaps he stashed Dylan somewhere, went and got a trailer to transport the body in and went back and got him? What if he put the body in a sealed large barrel or drum? I just don't know if he's that smart though??

Why would he think that? He was supposed to be waiting to go to his friends house...correct?
I also think that surely all cell phone pings on towers close to the lake were monitored from MR and DR's phone. In fact, I would think MR's phone could be tracked back before Dylan went missing. I'm not sure about that one. I wonder if anything interesting was found, but not being shared. MR does not strike me as the type to be smart enough not to take his phone with him.
If their purpose is to get Mark to answer questions, then this picketing/protest is NOT the proper avenue to take to accomplish that, IMO. I'm sure they are frustrated, they have every right to be. But harassment is not the way to go about getting answers, because it will only make him more angry, and angry people don't react rationally. Protests are seldom friendly or peaceful, though they may start out that way, most of them reach the ugly stage pretty fast. Sometimes people end up getting hurt.
If they want him to answer their questions, then it would be better to approach him peacefully and ask to have a one-on-one conversation with him, rather than picketing outside his house and yelling accusations at him. That's displaying the very attitude that they accuse him of having... anger and defiance. So what does that say about their character?
Don't throw tomatoes at me, I'm just offering my opinion like everybody else.
