Here is the thing, if MR is not responsible, why isn't he sitting down with the family brainstorming.......all conversation he had with Dylan? From the moment he picked him up at the airport, until he left the next morning? He had to have talked to him quite a bit. Pick apart every word that came out of his mouth....with his family, who knows him best. This is very odd and suspicious none of this is happening. I know people react differently, and I don't condemn him for a lot of things others would.....but this is very odd behavior from an innocent person.

Also from article:

“I firmly believe that this is just a misguided attempt to draw attention to me when the reality of the fact is, you know, we don’t know where Dylan is at,” he said. “I have no idea where Dylan is at. I have no involvement with where Dylan is at.”

Mark Redwine said he won’t be at his house Saturday morning during the rally. When asked what he will be doing instead, he said he’ll be doing “anything but being around here

Wrong Answer!

How about "Out Looking for Dylan"

So a rally on Saturday at MR's house. What will the end result of this be?
Can it accomplish anything positive ?

  • #786
The Sheriff’s Office in no way is involved in organizing the rally outside the father’s house, Bender said.

“We’re not encouraging people to take part. We’re not discouraging people from it,” he said. “We just want it clear that this protest is not in any way connected with the Sheriff’s Office.”

I am wondering the same thing. If they already know MR will not be there, what exactly is the purpose?

snip from your link:

Dan Bender, spokesman for the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office, said the department is aware of the protest. It will be allowed as long as participants do not impede traffic or damage any property, he said.

“We have not identified anyone as an official suspect,” he said.

Mark Redwine said he is becoming concerned for his safety.

He said he spoke with investigators and they recommended that he and Elaine Redwine get a mediator and meet to clear the air. He said he plans to do that through his divorce attorney.

“I’m concerned about rocks being thrown through my window, people out there crazy enough to bring weapons,” Mark Redwine said, claiming the protest is motivated by ill-feelings between him, Elaine and Cory Redwine.

“It’s fueled by hatred, and anger and lack of information,” he said.

I don’t plan to be there,” he said Wednesday. “I’ll be honest with you, I think this is about pushing me off the edge of the cliff. I know that tension is high and there are a lot of frustrations setting in, but I don’t see any benefit to this. I see it as more of a lynch mob than anything.”

Redwine, who hasn’t spoken to media for over a month, said he has nothing to hide and that he has cooperated with investigators

Official as opposed to unofficial?

Interesting they use the word 'picket' and 'protest'.

Gazette article linked above -

Picket planned in effort to find Monument boy

At least 100 die-hard Dylan Redwine searchers plan to picket the house of the missing Monument 13-year-old’s father on Saturday.

Their goal, said Denise Hess, one of the organizers, is to get Mark Redwine to talk openly about what he knows of Dylan’s Nov. 19 disappearance from his home in the Vallecito area near Bayfield.

“We don’t know that he has information,” said Hess.

We don't know that he has information, but we're going to harass him anyway. Nice.

The idea for the protest got its start earlier this week when Mark Redwine’s older son, Cory, 18, announced on a Facebook page that he planned to go to his father’s house and stand outside until he got some answers.

After Cory posted his intentions, the idea of a protest took off, Hess said.

I guess nobody told Hess that they're trying to pretty it up by changing to saying 'rally' instead of picket or protest.

I'm just going to call it what it is - harassment.

Well, if I was MR, I would almost hope that they do throw a rock through my window, or just get out-of-control. It would definitely make me look more sympathetic.

  • #799
the lack of information can also be referring to the general lack of information.

Well I guess this protest served its purpose!

I believe it did too. Got LE talking and involved at least. Makes me wonder what they have been doing. jmo
