Yes. The Lt. states "the father" within what was quoted.
I read the New Jersey bit and was not sure if it was about somebody else and trying to explain what they look for in such cases .

Here's the two links & a video: ER is on one or the other - maybe the 2nd

AND A VIDEO w/ Nancy Grace: Missing Boys Mom "Somebody Knows Where He Is"

Yes my son is 6'3'' now so at 13 , he was already pretty big !
Well we aren't there only ones that find some of MR's statements to be rather 'interesting'.
Wouldn't you think LE would facilitate that type of pow wow ? Parents are inexperienced with this but LE and certainly the FBI are. I would just guess in these kind of case, they would give the parents a list or even notify those missing children orgs themselves. That is odd. I guess I didn't realize they are not linked up .
That depends on the type of iPod and whether or not a wifi connection was available.
To add to this, even though we were told that an ipod was taken out of MR's house, have we ever had confirmation that it belonged to Dylan, or that Dylan had access to it?
Did Dylan ever own an ipod?
If Dylan did own an ipod, did he take it with him to visit his father, or is it still in his CS house?
As far as I know, we don't know the answer to any of those questions.
If it was Mark's I do not see why it would of been removed from the house . If it was Dylan's then its part of what he left behind and would of been taken out . MOO
While I was trying to get to sleep last night I kept wondering why they haven't hooked up with a missing child organization. They're so desperate for help and guidance, and IMO making a really bad choice with this protest to harass Mark. Elaine's sister was asking yesterday on FMDR to give them ideas on what they should be doing. Again, nobody recommended they hook up with a missing child organization. It's shocking to me.
Anyway, I kept wondering why they haven't, and realized the only mention I've seen is when D Hess asked LE about Texas Equusearch and LE said no. And Texas Equusearch if you look on their website doesn't offer the comprehensive set of services that other missing child organizations offer. So I wonder if the reason is a simple as that ER and CR think that missing child organizations are only for searching. Maybe they're just not aware of all the other services these organizations offer.
It's just heavy on my heart that they don't have an organization with experience helping them, and I really think it would help. I wish Elaine would call NCMEC and ask them to recommend a few organizations to her and just give them a call and look at their websites.
I have to go to work. This happens every single lickeysplittin' day ! But something caught my eye and it might be telling.
GRACE: And what kind of questions did they ask you?
REDWINE: You know, just basic questions, just trying to see if I was a good candidate for the polygraph.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1212/03/ng.01.html
Does that sound like LDT questions? To find out if you're a good candidate? That sounds like almost a pre LDT test. Is there such a thing? I know some of you have family members in LE. I wonder if we could find out if there is a little mini pre test that is administered and maybe based on the conclusion of that ,they decide whether or not to go forward with an actual LDT. NG asks what kind of questions. I'd assume the questions would be 'do you know where DR is' 'were you involved' etc. But for ER to say 'just to find out if I'm a good candidate'... that makes me think its' the what's your address, type of questions.
So if there is a little pre ldt test, perhaps MR took that and then he decided not to go forward? Could say I took an ldt test and in theory he did, but in the helpful and actual type of ldt test, he did nothing. See?
Yeah I passed an LDT about my job and home and past...but never had to answer a question about DR . Moo,,,,,,jmooo, imhooo and atj~

NCMEC has been involved since 11-23-2012. I thought NCMEC is a missing child organization and would recommend whatever they see fit to ER... Are you suggesting that they should be working with someone in addition, and if so, who?
Bender said five sheriffs investigators are working the case. They have contacted the FBI and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, he said. Dylans photo was featured Friday on the website of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Question, is this thing called vallecito reservoir the same as the ' lake' that they searched?
And did someone say that lake is 4 miles from MR's house?
So the idea that he may have hopped up on monday morning and wandered
over to the lake is pretty ludicrous right?
If it was Mark's I do not see why it would of been removed from the house . If it was Dylan's then its part of what he left behind and would of been taken out . MOO
Yes- the reservoir is the lake...4 miles from MR's door and the road passes many residences and a few businesses on the way. I have studied google maps for hours trying to puzzle out where he could have wandered. There is also easy access to the stream feeding the reservoir much closer to the home, ergo no need to go to the lake to fish.
I'm not sure what she meant by a good candidate. For what? Maybe she was told that some people do not do well with polygraphs and they wanted to see if she might be one of those people? IDK. Curious.
I know a little about how a polygraph works. They ask a set of 'control' questions, to see how you react when you tell the truth compared to when you are lying. Then they tell you a little about what they will be asking. Most of them will try to put the person at ease, as much as possible, then they eventually get around to asking the tough questions, which basically are worded to get your body's reactions. These questions are sometimes interspersed with simple questions like where they live or where they work, so that when they ask a straight-out question like "Did you kill your son?" and "Do you know if your son is dead?" it will throw a person off and their body will naturally react to it.
I read somewhere awhile back where some expert said there really is no such thing as a pass or a fail, with polygraphs. The person administering the test has to analyze each answer and then look at everything combined to determine the results. They also said that it is not unusual for results to be inconclusive, and that it sometimes raises a red flag when a person does not show any deceit whatsoever, because that indicates that they prepared themselves before the test to ensure that they would pass it. IOW, they expect there to be a few indications of deceit because a person's reactions are not 100% predictable.
Sorry I don't have a link because I'm not positive where I read it, it could have been in a book. You all can take it or leave it, I'm just sharing.
