A helicopter from the San Juan County, N.M., Sheriff’s Office searched Vallecito, Lemon, Haviland, Electra and Nighthorse reservoirs, he said. From the air, authorities were able to search the surface, shallow areas and shorelines of the reservoirs, he said.

Tuesday was the ninth day of intensive searching for the boy.

Volunteers knocked on doors, passed out fliers and combed wilderness areas for Dylan, who has been missing since Monday.


They also searched abandoned buildings, barns and other outbuildings. They’re making a grid of all the places they have checked, eventually extending the search to Ignacio and Bayfield if necessary.

Someone had asked about searches......LE and local have searched since that dreadful Monday when Dylan was reported missing. I didn't even post the articles about the searches in the lake....if I recall the weather was warm thru the last major search (dec 8) which permitted a lot of local searching to happen

I don't think we know what MR told LE. Did he tell them Dylan went right to sleep? And that he could not wake him in the morning, he was out like a light or that Dylan woke up and told him he undestood he was missing his ride? Did he tell them about the Nerf ball game? We heard bits and pieces like this from MR but nothing from LE. If MR's story to LE has holes or does not make sense, that would not be enough to generate charges. So how would we know? Only LE and MR know exactly what he told them.

Huh? I think they need to look at everyone in ANY case. If you can't rule anyone out, then everyone needs to be looked at.

Seeing as how ER passed her poly, and was 7 hours away when he went missing, I think she is pretty much cleared. Very different situation from MR, imo.

You've never seen a shotgun on tv when the parent of a missing child was being interviewed, but does that mean that there couldn't have been one sitting right out of sight? I don't see how anyone can know that with any certainty. MOO

Big difference between placing a loaded shotgun ON THE KITCHEN TABLE during a television interview, and having one sitting out of sight, imo.

But I wasn't pointing at ER or even talking about her period. I was responding to someone who felt MR saying LE should be looking at everyone as something only a guilty person would say.

I was merely stating that everyone should be looked at in any case where no one was ruled out.
