I think she is just very emotional. Her child is missing and she is asked if she had anything to do with it.

It's just a gut reaction, but I felt like ER was thinking that she never should have let Dylan get on that plane, and was feeling guilty in that respect.

In a news article the Father stated Dylan was to tired to talk about the new house, but now he's on the couch texting around 45 minutes ?

They also played Nerf ball in one of the versions of what Dylan was doing in the evening. I am not sure why it is taking so long for MR to be coming up with these details. He's been interviewed before, but this is the first time I heard about texting.

I can imagine a 13 year old excited about seeing his friends.

I as well can imagine a father wanting to know how school is going, but a house? Reminds me of someone having to talk about the weather for a lack of anything else to say.

I wonder if LE can get those full un-cut interviews. It seems to me IMO the more Mark talks the more he contradicts himself. Is LE able to get uncut interviews? I know we have an attorney following here...

They could be subpoena'd by the DA or by a grand jury, if necessary. I don't think, JMO, that they would be required to turn them over to LE without that.

What would be the aim of her being behind it , Elaine would not win and would just lose everything . It makes no sense she would be behind this in any shape or form when she has everything to lose and nothing to gain !

If one of my sons ever disappears (too late to do it as a child), I would hope they'd also check me out to see if anything I had done or anyone I knew may have contributed in some way to the disappearance. Just because I live 4 hours from my son, that doesn't mean that any of the dozens of relatives we have in that area or some associate of one of them couldn't do anything.

Hesitation, looking about, not looking at interviewer, then talking about something else and not really answering the question to start with.......strange.

FWIW I believe that it was a hesitation because of a misplaced sense of responsibility for putting him on that plane. She said that she wished she did because he would be home now.
From what I know of Elaine, she has a tremendous amount of pain

Mother had full custody. She didn't need to kidnap her own child.
