Apparently Sadie is a cadaver dog and the owner of the search group is quite honest about simply trying to bring closure to Dylan's family.

http://www.kob.com/article/stories/S2916543.shtml?cat=500

But on the official page, where this article is posted, people are choosing to read it as Sadie looking for a live Dylan. :(

Wishful thinking. Although I imagine we all have some flicker of hope for Dylan to be alive somewhere. But bringing in cadaver dogs is for a sad, yet probably more realistic scenario. :(

They could of played a game or something. You are not going to talk though a movie. Considering he made Dylan change his plans to then sit in front of the tv seems strange :cow:

Dylan may as well of actually gone to his friends if that was all MR had planned for the night.

I thought the plans were changed because the trip was pushed back a day...

watching tv but being told you have to wait until the next day to go to your friend's house (he did get there in the evening) is not odd to me:twocents: jmhoo however

I agree, but I don't see a cadaver dog finding Dylan if he is alive and holed up someplace.

I am not sure that precise words used by LE have as much meaning as some are giving them. Sometimes they just answer questions. The next time, they use a different phrase. And I really doubt that they have a whole lot of secret evidence they are holding back. If they did, they would not appear to be 50/50 on abduction vs. something happening at home, IMO. I think they are as open to both theories as they ever were.

Not disagreeing, but from what I have seen with LE statements, they are very carefully thought out and worded. Like I said way back, I've seen many cases where after the person was found I think 'wait that's not what LE said!' but when I go back and re-read it after the fact, it is exactly what they said and I was just misinterpreting it.

Hope that makes sense!

Each to there own :)

i just think that on his first night Mark would made more of a effort with his son. After saying he could not visit his mates . :moo:

Well I'm glad Sadie is a cadaver dog and maybe she'll be our hero and find Dylan. I think a cadaver dog is exactly what's needed. As much as I hate to say that. I think bringing in SAR dogs at this point would be a waste of time.

I never found out if cadaver dogs were ever used in MR's house or vehicle's. I sure would like to know this. It's probably too late to pick up a scent there now with no body.

No a cadaver dog will not be able to find an alive Dylan, nor would they try to use them for this.

I have a hard time with parental abduction since the parents have not also vanished. Although there have been long periods of time when Mark was not very visible.

I feel the same way but I thought the clip was interesting.

I would love a cast of characters (people LE have interviewed)....

I am saddened today...it's cold and snowing here

I don't see many men suggesting a good old game of monopoly to their 13 year old. JMO It just doesn't strike me as strange to sit and watch a movie.

But his Dad says they arrived home somewhere around 8-8:30. So it's possible Dylan had switched over to the iPod when the 8:01 text conversation started with RN (if they were home by then and he has access to wifi).

I agree. I wasn't making any points, just mainly that whether he was texting from his phone or his ipod, it may not show up different on R's phone as far as the contact name at the top.

We have the skills and the ability to give closure to this family and if he's there I know we can find him," said Kessinger.

Kessinger say her bloodhound Sadie is one of many, and the team is ready for this search.

Kessinger wants the Redwine family to know they're willing to search and continue it - even if law enforcement call of ftheir search.

The organization has no fee and is on standby - ready to act if asked.

"When we do give a family closure it is bittersweet, but you know they can at least sleep then at night and have peace again," said Kessinger.

We wanted to know if after more than two months, the dogs would be able to pick up a scent.

Experts tell KOB Eyewitness News 4 it is still possible with cadaver dogs

BBM

So her team has many dogs. They really could be a big help and I'm glad the Redwine's have accepted the offer.

When my kids visit their dad after a while of not seeing him (due to work and other reasons) they just stay home, have something to eat, watch a dvd together. They have never complained or expected to do anything else.

At the end of the day, what more effort should MR have made? He drove to the airport, put up with the delay, took Dylan to McDonalds (that's a treat in my boys' eyes!) and then did a bit of shopping. I would have thought that a night in with a movie was more than enough, after the travelling Dylan had done.

We do not know if a cadaver dog was used at MR's house, right? But they were used at the lake and hit on three spots, right? A fishing pole was found at the lake, presumably DR's, right? MR told LE that a fishing pole was missing, right? MR stated they should be looking at the lake, right? Was MR upset nothing was found at the lake?

The only reason i made my post was because MR stated they had not got to talk that night much . So Mark is responsible for that with the activity he choose for the night. If he wanted to talk then dont watch a movie .

No, it was reported as not being DR's. jmo

Could there have been some sort of accident? Maybe an altercation outside of the truck sometime Sunday night. Or Dylan getting out of the truck and Mark chasing him and some sort of accident happened. As I type this I don't think this is much of a possibility, I'm just trying to figure out when Mark says "I would never harm that boy" if that means he wouldn't deliberately harm him.

I find it interesting that LE has been conducting snow-shoe searches off of bridges and other snow covered areas.

In 1987, James Brennan's dreams of a summer European tour before studying at an Ivy League school in New York City are ruined after his parents have a severe career setback. As a result, James must get a summer job to cover his upcoming expenses at the decrepit local amusement park, Adventureland, where he falls in love with a witty co-worker, Emily Lewin. In that bizarrely shady workplace, the young carnies have unforgettable and painful learning experiences about life, love and trust while James discovers what he truly values.

sounds like a perfect movie to watch for a couple of guys....perhaps they bought it at Walmart earlier or rented from Redbox (wonder, if so, did Mark return it on Monday).

Fishing pole that was found at the lake did not belong to DR.

I still am baffled by the " that boy" . Its his son not some boy.

It would come across a lot more loving if he said " i would never harm my son"

ETA- Maybe its a U,S expression for there children coz over here it is not how one refers to there child !!!

Could Dylan have fallen and hit his head while they were tossing the football? It makes sense that he could have accidentally died and MR tried to cover it up because he knew ER would pursue him and never believe it was an accident.
