The tone of the text says Dylan was not happy . He was not talkative with Ryan and then made plans as early as 6:30am to see Ryan . So he was clearly disappointed he was not seeing Ryan that night .

:cow:

We know from one of the reports that Dylan and Ryan was joking around via text earlier on about girls . Dylan was not replying like a happy teenager !

LOOK at that childs face in that walmart photo hes looks forlorned!

I really feel that MR is responsible some how for what happened to Dylan. I don't know if I'm willing to go with intentional murder. Even with all that we've learned about him I don't see him as being this evil murderer. I just don't. I think it's possible an accident of some sort happened and out of fear he tried to cover it up. What if he let Dylan go out on a quad at night and something happened? What if he did something that inadvertently lead to Dylan's death?

This is all MOO of course and that is IF he is responsible.

IMO this could explain an inconclusive polygraph rather than an out and out fail plus lots of inconsistencies in his stories.

I wonder what I would look like in a Walmart surveillance shot? LOL I can't imagine.

Maybe Dylan didn't want to go in Walmart? Maybe he was tired from his flight? I think it's impossible to know what was on his mind. Maybe a little old lady just ran into him with her cart?

I think IF MR did something it happened like this. Perhaps he took Dylan's phone and Dylan attacked him, MR pushed him off of him, Dylan hit's his head. Or I've even wondered if MR allowed him to drink alcohol that night and something happened. Or perhaps MR caught Dylan sneaking in the liquor cabinet and MR was trying to teach him a lesson and made him drink until... something happened. (sadly I've known parents that have done this)

I have never felt premeditated-preplanned-intentional murder IF he did it.

I just think something went terribly wrong that night!

I think the 2 of them got into it!
I do think alcohol played a big part.

But his Dad says they arrived home somewhere around 8-8:30. So it's possible Dylan had switched over to the iPod when the 8:01 text conversation started with RN (if they were home by then and he has access to wifi).

I'd like to know if Dylan's phone plan had unlimited or limited text. If it was limited, then I'd understand switching to the iPod. If it was unlimited, then switching to the iPod does not make sense to me.

I just find it hard to believe MR would deliberately harm his son. I believe he loved him very much, and if anything did happen to DR while he was with his father, then it was an accident. I can see, however, why MR would want to cover it up, if something did indeed happen. ER impresses me as the kind of woman that would walk through "the underworld" to pursue him if she thought he was guilty of harming him. And we all know how she feels about that.

I dont think it was deliberate!
But to cover it up is criminal!

If I recall the time that the texting was going on was when they were reportedly at Walmart and McDonalds. Maybe he was brief because he was busy. And he may of been disappointed but that was because he wasn't getting what he wanted. I also know teens get over that really quickly. I don't think DR was afraid to text his feelings, clearly he texted his mother that he was in a frowny mood. And that could have been because of the uncomfortable flight. I read about the earlier report of them joking around about girls, but haven't seen it. You don't know where that is posted by an chance? TIA & JMO

Why would Dylan was been tired from flying . He is a fit active 13 year old and he didn't have Jet Lag and I assume did not even change time zones ??

Well it would if cell phone reception were spotty or the battery needed charging.

Didn't he have a layover in Denver? I know just dealing with connecting flights and stuff can be exhausting. And remember supposedly he was up til 4am that morning?

Oh please! I hope I never see myself on a Walmart video! I shop there about once a year and I my face probably looks like that when I'm there.

His head/ears could also be feeling funny from the flight still.

Not sure... Mark made a big deal about buying a direct flight for Dylan. Was that for the November trip or some earlier trip?

I really, really want to see that Walmart Video.

Wonder if the family has viewed it?

I felt the same way until Corey spoke up.

I don't know if it was confirmed but it was said earlier in one of the threads it was a direct flight . So that's what I believe at the moment .

My point was that a normal person would call 911 if their child was harmed/killed as a result of an accident. Considering MR and ER's history, however, I think he would know that she would never give up saying and trying to prove that he had "deliberately" hurt Dylan, even if he said it was an accident and evidence could prove otherwise. She has already made comments alluding to this, if I remember correctly. Knowing how she feels about him, and not saying she does not have a right to feel how she does, but knowing she would blame him and never rest until she convinced everyone that he had hurt Dylan deliberately might be a reason to panic and try to dump Dylan's body instead of calling 911. Does this make sense? I know what I want to say but am not sure I am getting my point across.

Sorry. Still doesn't make sense to me. Especially considering how MR claims to love "that boy." What kind of person wouldn't call 911 when their child has an accident?
