Why would I want to explain others' interpretations of an interview that seemed perfectly sane and plausible <modsnip>

Yup. They are saying he probably doesn't have the survival skills needed for thee upcoming cold snap we are getting. There is snow up there and it will be hard for him to survive that. Since it's a vacation site, there are a lot of vacation cabins that are empty. He could easily hole up in one of those and outlast the storm.

Unless he hijacked a vehicle and he's out of the area.

OT, locally we have a big manhunt going for a former LAPD officer who has killed 3 people and shot several others. Two innocent women who were delivering newpapers in the early morning were shot by police in Torrance because they were in a truck similar to the one of the former police officer.

He was fired and is now on a rampage to kill every officer and their family members who were involved in him getting fired from his job. This is craziness. The police around here are on high alert and the whole area is like an armed camp.

Also OT... oh my gosh, stay safe! I have been following that story today as well. Unbelievable.

Fair enough, but wasn't the FBI involved in his official interrogation?

I believe they were. I think they've had the experts in on his interrogation, to watch and listen to everything he said.

I think it's so funny that some keep saying this needs to be about Dylan. Well where would this be if Elaine was not pushing to get his name out there? Nowhere.
I believe if MR didn't do it then a stranger abducted him. MR knows if he's innocent and if he is the most important thing is getting Dylan's face and name out there. Maybe Dylan's in another state or another country even? How are they going to reach people all over the US and beyond?
This will eventually quiet down and eventually everyone will forget about Dylan. Elaine can not keep up this pace forever. I think she's giving it her absolute best shot possible. And if none of this brings Dylan home then what? A National TV show like Dr Phil is a one time opportunity. They need to push this now while there is interest. They need to jump on opportunities as they come...because they won't be there forever. It's ALL ABOUT GETTING DYLAN'S NAME OUT THERE AND IT IS ALL ABOUT DYLAN.

I watched the uncut video and I don't recall any discrepancies. Mark may have rambled a bit but I had no problem understand the points he was trying to make. MOO.

I thought he was articulate, didn't hesitate, went back to some memories, talked about his relationship with his son, gave some answers to questions we've had here. He filled in some blanks for us. IMO, JMO, MOO.

This family is out there doing their damnedest to find Dylan, but yet its being seen as a "set up" of Mark Redwine?

This mother wants ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY!!... HER SON!.. do people really believe that her number one, top priority is setting up Mark Redwine?.. this woman, this mother had already moved way on from Mark Redwine.. she filed what shes legally bound to with the courts and the courts granted her the sole custody agreeing that the move with mom, brother, and step father(soon to be) was what was in in Dylan's best interest.. Mark Redwine in turn continued a back and forth with the courts in contesting such..

Whatever... Mom had happily moved on and its mind blowing to see that people accuse this mom of setting up Mark Redwine. If she did not think that Mark Redwine knew anything about her sons whereabouts do people really believe that she would be wasting one ounce of her time, energy, heart, and soul on a man she had successfully moved on from??

Do people not believe she wants her son found and if she believed that there was someone else responsible that she would be putting every ounce of time, energy, heart and soul into that avenue to get her son back??... Mark Redwine does not matter.. do people really think that she wants to focus on him just for the hell of it?.. she's moved on its the very last person this poor woman would ever want to have to deal with ever again...yet she's being accused of not wanting her son home and instead for no reason just laser focused on setting Mark Redwine up...:mindblowing:

Elaine wanting to and working toward setting up poor ol' Mark Redwine IMO is absolutely the most nonsensical thing I truly have ever heard of in my entire life...

LOL I edited my post I was talking about LE and it wasn't clear. I listen for story changes like the one where MR talked to T. and in the new interview he went to T's house & T wasn't there. Both answers can't be true.

Thanks. The cheese slipped off this guy's crackers. He's going after other police officers and their families. The girl he killed the other day was a lawyer involved in his case. He also killed her fiance.

I have no idea how tidy/neat/clean his house was. When we were married you could eat off the floor and could hardly tell we had children because I am a neat freak.

It may not just be his pay at stake but his absence from his job, unexcused. Just because you get the pay doesn't mean your job is secure when you don't show up to work, the work still needs to be done and if he isn't there, his job can be at risk.

In addition, if he's working out of state, and they want him to be there for 2 days to do the show, I think he'd lose much more time having to leave the job site, get to wherever the filming is done, do the show and get back to the job site. Even with minimal sleep, it would most likely be more disruption of work and time off than most employers would want to give after someone had just come back to work recently. MOO

What does him being a man have to do with anything? People keep saying that he should/shouldn't do something because he's a man, but ER should be excused for the same things because she's a mother. I just don't believe there's any difference. If something is a sign of guilt, it should be a sign of guilt in everybody. If something is a sign of grief, it should be seen as a sign of grief in everybody. MOO

I'd say the first thing I'd do under those circumstances is stop bashing him in public every chance I got, but that's just me. MOO

Slight correction. Her FATHER was the lawyer who represented him when he was appealing his termination from the LAPD. He didn't think the man did a good enough job representing him, so he killed the mans beautiful daughter and her fiancé. :cry:

I know nobody in the U.S. personally that has any clue who Dylan Redwine is. If I were to ask everyone I know if they heard about the boy in Colorado who is missing named Dylan I guarantee you nobody would have a clue who I was talking about.

I'm sure that LE looks at any interviews that Mark does and compare it to what he has told them and other facts that they have gathered.

Looking for contradictions or discrepancies is fine, but taking every single insignificant comment or gesture and twisting it into a sign of guilt or a lack of character is way too much. I've seen plenty of that.

As for the alleged discrepancy that you mention, I think that Mark told the truth in the uncut interview and in the earlier interview the reporter got things mixed up with what Mark said the two boys told him later in the afternoon. MOO.
