I don't care how you slice and dice it. MR is not acting like someone that is interested in finding their missing child. Most parents would move heaven and earth to do anything they could to find them!

If he's innocent he would care less what others thought of him and his only priority would be in finding his child.

Sorry, I'm not seeing it.

I have thought that from day one!
But whats with the three weeks?
Are you not really really curious?

Where is MR going for 3 weeks and if he is going somewhere i sure hope hes being followed.

OMG you think he won't be back in 3 weeks? Like
make a run for the border? Oh wow !

I take it to mean that as much as she suspects MR, she can't believe a parent could harm a child and she has said she can't believe she chose so wrong (to parent with MR). It doesn't mean she doesn't think he did anything, it means she can't believe a parent who loves their child could hurt that child, and she doesn't believe her own choice in having kids with MR could be so wrong.

Oh I agree with all that but I also think the guy didnt know how to be a good father and this is just MO. Did he want to be I think yes.

I do think this guy has anger issues I have said that from day one and I think
whatever could have happend if MR did this was he got very angry at his son
and things got out of hand!

ER and CR know exactly what kind of guy MR is!

All JMO

I do not have any faith in shows such as Dr. Phil providing any answers or leading to finding Dylan. Still, I do wonder at the three-week delay. It just seems so accepting, in a way, that Dylan will not be found anytime soon, so may as well wait until March to do it. But then I always have issues when events for missing children are planned weeks in advance, as I do not think I could be dealing with more than each day as it comes, personally. I know it takes time to plan events, but it just all seems so non-critical, and that is just IMO.

Just so disheartening that as late as 2013 there is really no way to find missing children, except, basically, by luck. Or so it seems. Yes, there are more and better ways to search, etc. but it still comes down to luck in the end. Just very pessimistic about this case as it approaches three months.

Most specifically ' dylan's phone died or broke or fell in the toilet or he said it wasnt' working right ' . In regards to the next morning he did not clear up his earlier several statements with anything like " he woke up and said i understand and i'd rather sleep ' .
He left out the nerf football toss about.
Just seems some details that we've been wishing would cleared up did not get cleared up . I'm talking about within the 40 min video at this time, sorry for confusion.

But he did say this that I cannot tell if he's highly emotional and trying to contain it or what about the trip in summer '' memories or trip of a lifetime that no one can take away'. Not necessarily odd but I think at this point MR knows Dylans' fate. Whether it's because he delivered that fate or his gut is telling him that fate, he knows what it is . :(

saying that he "prays to him (DR)" indicates he knows his fate and that he is deceased. Do you pray to any living people? I "talk to" deceased people (and cats), but not to living ones. When one of my cats was in emergency surgery, I sent him strength and prayed FOR him, but not TO him. So even in crisis, you generally don't pray to a living person. you can send loving thoughts and wishes. so it may be benign. but it sounds off to me.

<snipped for space> When was her first public interview? When was the first time she spoke in public??? To my knowledge, when she was on GMA on ABC, this was her first public interview. Was there one before this where she DIDN'T accuse Mark of having done something to Dylan???

Because if that's the case, even if her first public interview wasn't until 8 days after Dylan's disappearance, then it doesn't change that her first public appearance about it she "started accusing him right from the get go." KWIM?

According to the timeline it was a radio interview with ABC news. It was published on the 26th. jmo

well, after 8 days of no response to texts and phone calls (having been the last one to see DR alive), I'd call out someone on live TV if it were my only chance of communicating with them too. I may even bait them with an accusation or something to get them to respond.

Yeh, it worked well for her, didn't it??? He didn't say another word for almost 2 months.

And I will go back to WHAT SHE SAID TO HIM during the time they were texting. If she was rude and nasty and accusatory, (which I believe she was) then I wouldn't have text her or answered another phone call from her again either. Making excuses for rude behavior and treating someone like crap isn't productive. She could have gotten more flies with honey than with vinegar. She used vinegar, she didn't get what she wanted.

AND 8 days and her first interview is "right off the bat" or "from the get-go" which was what I was answering.

The earliest quotes of Elaine that I can find are on Nov 23rd.

“Dylan wouldn’t have left willingly,” Redwine said during an interview at the home of a friend Friday afternoon. “If there was any way to communicate he would have called.”

This sounds like she's saying that she doesn't feel that Dylan ran away or left on his own to go to his friends. She doesn't say what she feel's about Mark's possible involvement in Dylan's disappearance. MOO.

I am not sure what difference it makes if she did it after one day or 15 days. The bothersome thing to me is that she did it at all. jmo

what I'm trying to convey is her desperation to get answers from the last person to see her son. MR did not return her calls or texts. For weeks. Imagine what you would feel your options are in that situation. I'd be pissed and desperate. She did not say that out of the blue. It was more restrained than what i may have said in that situation.

Is that where she first accused him? Or did she have an interview where she hasn't??? See the theme?

I think they want a face to face with MR.
I also dont think they care if its with Dr Phil or Dr. Oz!
Er wants to sit down and look her ex husband in eyes and ask him sme very important questions! JMO

BBM - there is forensic evidence, in MSM LE said that they were waiting for items back from FBI, they later said that after they received information from the evidence, they were re-grouping to determine their next strategy. Just because LE isn't giving the public a detailed list of the forensic evidence (which they would not do in the first place) does not mean that they is nothing.

In regards to "fully cooperating with LE" IIRC LE said he was "cooperating" not fully cooperating. Big difference.

In regards to making excuses, about two weeks ago IIRC MR said that he would take another LDT, has he? If so, I would believe the MSM would be on top of that in a heartbeat.

MR says a lot, MR does very little of what he says.

BBM
I may be wrong but I thought that Mark said he would take another polygraph if asked to do so by LE. Maybe LE is satisfied with his first one and don't want a second? MOO.

So MR getting mad at Elaine for her accusatory statement early on is a good excuse for not trying to find his child?

Well, we were watching the movie together. I remember the movie being finished. I at some point was pacing the floor and got up and was taking care of a few little things you know over here at the kitchen table while we were doing that but, you know, it was – Shortly after the ending of that movie, which my guess, and I don’t recall because I don’t keep track of the clock… you know…it must have been… I thought it was earlier in the beginning…’cos I was fairly tired anyway, and I know Dylan was tired because he indicated to me that because he had been up ‘till 4:00 the night before and that he had spent most of the day in the airport traveling to get here that he was tired, and, you know, it seems to me it had to been about 10:30’ish maybe by the time the movie got done… somewhere in there and, you know, shortly after that I ran up and went to bed and he finished up doin’ whatever he was doin’ watching Nickelodeon or whatever he was watching.

this is so interesting b/c he goes to GREAT LENGTHS to explain the timeline, why he doesn't know the timeline, got it wrong to begin with and can't clarify it even now. look at all those words in red (if my text color worked) to say what time he went to bed.

if you're already pacing, why do you need to "get up" to take care of things?

all the "you know"s is a way to persuade and make sure the person listening is following you or believes you.

he "remembers" the movie ending???? why say "remember"???? the movie ended. obviously. as all movies do at some point.

one more oddity - they just finished a movie. it was late. everyone tired. MR went to bed "shortly" thereafter. DR "finished" up what he was doing - watching nickelodeon. so DR started a show on Nick and then watched that for a while AFTER the movie when they were both so tired and eventually went to bed? not unheard of, but odd. I think it was just a way to throw the Nick in there, b/c I DON'T BELIEVE IT'S TRUE!!! MOO

Good point. I have never seen anything that states that LE is asking MR to take another polygraph. If they have, I apologize and I'd like to see that link.

I asked Melissa Blasius this exact question on twitter and did not receive a response.

I don't know. I mean, I think she had every right to be upset, and I see MR as being the kind of guy to use it against her, the way abusers do. (I'm following the line that he is capable of abuse b/c of his known history of violence in the family). If she gets upset, then he uses that against her as a reason to not cooperate with her. it's manipulative and vindictive. HOW do you deal with someone like that? You can't. you simply can't.

SM is a huge contributing factor to drama in high profile cases. There are people that go around creating FB accounts for very high profile cases. It's like TV ratings, where the goal is to try and get as many followers as possible. In order to keep the attention of the followers, they will try and work their way into the lives of the key players. When things slow down drama is created to keep people on the page.

Creating a FB page and sharing awareness for a missing child can be done professionally. Drama is not a necessary. Good FB pages and their administrators control the pages to allow it to be a supportive and positive place for family, friends and the public. I question the intentions of those that allow these pages to turn into a circus, just as I question those that crawl out of the woodwork to insert themselves in the investigation.

I think ER and MR need to be wary of who they deal with and I would encourage them to seek professional, established, qualified, help away from the camera and SM.

Everyone has the choice of whether to choose to believe everything they read out there. I personally take it all with a very tiny grain of salt. Sometimes you have to look beyond the surface to see the big picture.

Yes another odd comment. It's as if he's remembering the story as he made it up in his head.
