Maybe he was hired to do someone's dirty work, thus, "I have no involvement with where Dylan is at" :waitasec:

That's Mark's quote. If Mark hired him to "do his dirty work", then Mark would have involvement. :waitasec:

BBM I'm assuming there must be given the name of the town. I was actually really surprised to see somewhere with such a "hispanic sounding" name in Colorado. (once again, is it, obvious I'm in California?). I'm curious too though. If there's not a large Hispanic population there currently or in the recent past, I'm even more curious and confused.

I believe there is a very large spanish presence there!

High hispanic and Native American too.

I agree with you 100%!!! Even if this tip came almost 3 months into the case, it doesn't mean it is not credible. If LE is taking it seriously, then by golly, I'm going to take it seriously too, until I hear otherwise!

Btw, don't you mean 100%, not 10? (last sentence in your post) :seeya:

lol yes I meant 100%, my keyboard is high fangled and the keys are picky about how hard you push. :)

OT, just watching an old Dateline about a missing person and the mother said, "if she was awake, if she was okay, she was on her phone, texting her friends." Reminded me of Dylan.

I still don't get Dylan not making contact on Monday morning.

So this guy was going around the northern part of Vallecito (how near where MR lives???) asking about where to get gas, and Dylan was a real friendly guy that never met a stranger.... Hmmmm, I can see someone asking Dylan where the gas station was and then asking Dylan to "show him" where the gas station was because he was not familiar with the area.

This could be the reason Dad left the house!
To allow this person to go pick up Dylan!
If this man took D he took all his things and the darn Fishing pole!

All JMO

Okay so do both Elaine and Mark have PI's working for them?

I was thinking more along the lines that this guy, or someone like him (possibly asking questions about the house for sale across the street?) could have come to the door to ask questions and coaxed Dylan outside then took him. I was in no way thinking the dad was involved.

Evening: Dylan arrives in Durango from Colorado Springs after 6th Judicial District Judge David Dickinson issued a court order granting Mark Redwine, Dylan’s father, visitation rights during the Thanksgiving holiday. Dylan sends his mother, Elaine, a text message that says he has arrived. Elaine Redwine tells The Durango Herald that Dylan’s text message ended with an emoticon that was interpreted as a scowl.

Dylan’s visit was the result of a court order by 6th Judicial District Judge David Dickinson, who said Thursday he is restricted from commenting on the order or the parenting plan.

District Judge David Dickinson, who has served on the bench for 14 years, announced this week he will retire at the end of February.

BBM

Thanks for these articles. I had read the commentary on one of the Durango Herald articles (can't remember which now) about how Dickinson's retirement was announced recently but I had not done the research to confirm. I believe there are only three judges who hear family court cases in the area. T

Not necessarily, to my way of thinking. Dylan could have got up, had breakfast, put on his backpack (with clothing and cell phone and charger inside), grabbed his fishing pole, and walked outside to go to the river across the street to do a little fishing before his dad got home. Someone, this Hispanic???, could have seen Dylan walking across the street or even down by the river and used the 'house for sale' sign to strike up a conversation.

If he had someone come and take Dylan from the home then when asked Did you harm D
or do you know where he is he can truthfully say NO. But the Q that would get him is
are you in any way responsible? And this could come back inconclusive as i see it.

I tend to agree on LE releasing info willynilly. I don't think it's likely.

I've just read so many bad things about MO that it worries me. I hope it's legit!

Totally agree with you, I hope it's legit too! I'm having a very hard time with this PI though. Maybe it's nitpicky of me, but the guy's horrible spelling alone is driving me nuts. Spell the kid's name correctly for goodness' sake. (your screen name is also a good thing to spell correctly)

I dont think Dylan got up and had breakfast nor walked out that door on his own!

But if that were the case, you'd think the man would have made sure he had gas, and wouldn't ask other people where to find a gas station, bringing attention to himself.

I would like to think you are correct with this one, because if you are it means Dylan is most likely alive and just being hidden somewhere. JMO though.

I think the looking for gas thing was just a screen. I have had experience with these perverts in the past, and they will use something flimsy like that to strike up a conversation, all the while checking you out and the situation.

I think that was just what he was going to say if he was caught by someone.
Its just a thought!
