If Er is to be accused of saying inaccurate things, please post a link.

Uhhhh. Maybe you misunderstood. The NIGHT ER got there (around midnight from C. Springs) ... LE and LPSAR were out looking with bloodhounds up and down CR 500 Monday night and into Tuesday.

ER couldn't have seen any footprints anywhere when she got there after/around midnight. IMO. I cannot believe ER would say such a thing. Sounds like one of her "friends" made something up. IMO.

Here's the video from the search of MR home: Watch. Show me where there is any "dirt/soil/sand" along the PAVED road?

http://www.durangoherald.com/article/20121129/NEWS01/121129570

I've been there twice/looked there/there is no dirt that would hold a footprint, etc. IMO.

It could simply be me confused. But whether i got the day wrong i do remember somebody saying they looked for Dylan's foot tread along the road.

Looking for footprints is not the same as finding them.
I would probably still be looking for them, even though in vain.

Have you got a link as finding anything on that page is a nightmare on my phone? .

Thank you :)
That page is a nightmare for me anytime. I know computer hardware and software backwards and forwards, but I am so Facebook challenged. Probably a mental block.

Where has ER stated inaccurate info ?

I would love to see this as I had no idea !

The first one that comes to mind is from the NG transcript and polygraphs.

1. MR failed.

2. Did not know if he took one.

3. She passed but they only asked questions to see if she was a good candidate.

4. MR's inconclusive.

5. Did not tell NG producers MR failed.

I was scratching my head as I did not know which version of her versions I should take as fact.

This has always been my view on that was Elaine was told not to say anything and then Nacy backed her into a corner and then she had to say something .

Coz did Nancy not mention that she had over heard Elaine say something in the hallway ?
( it has been awhile so that may not be correct)

I've been looking around tonight. To no avail, really. Just hoping to happen upon something that would lead in a new direction. Wanted to share, with all here, two really beautiful videos made for Dylan by Jeff Plissner. "Tale of Two Faces" and "Beams of Hope-Monument, CO." They won't solve the case in any way. But if you need a moment just to reflect, and maybe shed some tears these are worth watching.

Exactly , IMO - It would be a case of trying to find any hope and if that kept them busy and gave them a purpose so be it. It was better than sitting around sobbing into a pillow .. MOO

It was all about being proactive i think .

Well, in any case, has MR clarified the issue, if she was confused or inaccurate?

I try not to compare cases, but I always thought Mickey was the victim of an abduction.

A number of things had to happen, IMO, for Dylan to be in the path of an an abductor (and no one else, apparently). He did not take his ride as planned, then he did not use his phone or any other method of contact, apparently. He did not live in that house and was not there often. As far as I know, this trip was not planned long in advance and he does not seem to have been seen upon arrival at the house by anyone at all. When a child is on a visit to a non-custodial parent, they probably are not often alone. So there is no reason to think anyone with aspirations to take him could expect to find him so vulnerable, IMO. If indeed he was awake long enough to take cereal and watch TV, I find it very hard to believe he would not have made efforts to contact his friend, or his mother who would probably have the phone numbers of his friends. He did not leave a note saying he had decided to go on to Bayfield and not wait for his ride.

For him to gather up his things, on a Monday morning, and not be seen by a soul but apparently walk straight into the arms of a predator just involves a lot of circumstances for me. As far as Mickey goes, nothing good happens at 2am as they say.

I do not say it is impossible, just that it ranks behind every other scenario for me at this time.

Yes so did I, and I knew it was probably not going to turn out well, as on the Monday afternoon LE was already stating they had not ruled out foul play. I as well wondered if she had been mistaken for her sister, as the two looked so much alike.

In this case, I could see the possibility of meeting someone new, as he had just moved, and there are some active groups in the area. This is the scenerio I am hoping for as it means he is probably alive.

ETA I cannot forget "Pat" scenerio. That is a scenerio I as well could see.

I am looking around the house in that video, and the area down the street that the camera got. There is gravel in the driveway (could be decomposed granite), dirt in the front yard, leaves and dead grass, each of which could show foot prints or foot paths. Yes, the road is paved, but the grass, dirt and leaves on the side of the road are not paved and (at least when I was taught tracking) usually show evidence of someone walking on them (grass is crushed, leaf piles disturbed in a certain way, scuffs on the dirt, etc). Was there nowhere from the front door of the house, continuing down the road, where someone would walk on the grass, or dirt or leaves? It looked like there was, but with all the equipment, it is hard to tell.

All she had to state is that LE has asked that this not be discussed.

I watched that particular show, against my own advice, and NG was actually very good with ER. I remember being surprised by that.

Yup it then went to had not taken one, even LE stated that they both had.

They may have still rented the property even if it was for sale. Since it's a vacation spot you could rent it by the week. It beats letting it sit empty and not making any money from it. The one for sale is on Safley and there was one that sold on Safley recently also. The for sale sign by Marks house points in the direction down that road. So, if he ran out of gas down that street he could have walked out right there by MR's property.

But if he did run out of gas, it is hard to see how he managed to kidnap a teen without a running vehicle.

I do not understand the second paragraph. What groups are active, and how would this better his chances of being alive?

Not to mention, being so careless as far as being seen and having a conversation. If he had ill intentions, seems he would stay hidden, make sure no one was around before emerging.

Also throw in the fact that he had to wait around for hours for Dylan to appear with his bag on his back and Dylan magically never contacting anybody before hand and the random strange guy knowing Dylan was home alone . And there was no sign of any kind of a struggle either ... Moo

Sigh...I'm just jumping off your post.

The footprint conversation got started because it has been stated in a way that due to ER not finding any footprints, it was another indication that Dylan never made it to the house.

ER did talk about not finding footprints, but I think others took it out of context and ran with it.

FYI - I have a gravel driveway at both of my houses and you can't see foot prints in my driveways.
