Very recent post on fmdr re: phil !

Thank you for clearing that up, mck16.

And welcome to the thread, song22! (I notice you're pretty new :) )

Ofcourse there were going to be plans for him to get back to ER, but my point is MR initiated that visit and the plane ticket on that day. NOT VERIFIED

I am so not expecting any real results to come from Dr. Phil show.
Maybe the family "came together" for a kumbaya moment...I guess that would be better than the brawling. But I still don't see it helping to find Dylan.

It's a long shot because the audience is only a few hundred people, but after the taping, I am going to do some searching to see if I can find tweets from someone who was in the audience.

I found the twitter of some guy who says he will in the audience today. I don't think I can post it but if he comments on the show, I'll paraphrase.

ETA: I have found 7 twitters in all of people going to the Dr. Phil taping today.

BBM dang, you're good! I am thinking if they mentioned they're going to the taping they may also say something about it. I hope so! Look forward to seeing any paraphrased comments. (I'd look for them but I am terrible with Twitter).

I know I sure wouldn't want my name released to the public, if I left a tip on a ongoing high profile investigation.

Not only because it might put me in danger, but also because I wouldn't want reporters banging on my door or curious people.

Absolutely agreed! For those following Liz and Lyric's case, after seeing what the people have gone through whose names were publicized, ugh... one in particular but really all of them have been through a lot with curiosity, reporters, etc. If I witnessed a crime like this, I would go to LE right away but I can say with certainty I would never ever go to the press and I'd ask LE to keep me anonymous.

BBM: Probably the same reason as here: MR was last to see DR, people/family do not feel he is forthcoming, he hasn't been cleared by LE, etc. IMO.

Nah ... the spiteful comments go way beyond that IMO. Frequent jibes about MR (his looks, hair, hygiene etc) that have absolutely nothing to do with Dylan's disappearance or MR's involvement. And the sarcasm - all very clever. Like nasty teenage girls at their bullying worst - but these are adults. Mostly middle aged adults I am guessing, sniping from afar.

Absolutely! I actually have a former co-worker who murdered (I guess I should say allegedly murdered) her husband and fled the country a few years ago. She had made a couple of comments to me shortly before the murder, that I thought would be important to LE, so I went to them and gave a statement, but asked that it be kept anonymous. They said they would, and while the information I gave them came out in the press, it was never stated who told them.

Of course, the prosecutor called me in to talk, and they told me that if they ever succeed in getting her returned to the country to face trial, they want me to testify, and at that point I can't be anonymous anymore. But for now, no one knows that I am the source of that information. And I am glad, because it was a real media circus around here for quite awhile.

It's absolutely disgusting, huh?

Here is something I have been wondering:

How could Mark have known what was and was not in Dylan's backpack?

At one point in the interview he acts like he doesn't know what clothes DR brought with him but then at another point

In his uncut interview MR says:"Dylan had no games or anything in his backpack."

Well, on the official FB page, someone commented under the most recent Dr. Phil post, and it seems that she went to the taping. Her initials are AMP. She says you could feel the power in the room, that you could hear a pin drop, that she is proud of Elaine and the sons, and that she could feel Dr. Phil's intensity. Makes me think that Mark was accused/confronted on the show.

I guess what I don't understand is if someone doesn't like a particular web site or The Dr. Phil show why would they read the site or watch the show? It doesn't make any sense to me. If I don't like or agree with something, I'm certainly not going to subject myself to viewing it. Pretty simple to me!

Very good point. I believe we attempted to have this conversation before but things got sidetracked?

I have no doubt. I can't see it having gone any other way. That's all it was for, so once again, I do not see why he even agreed to go on it. IMO

I'm sure some have children or grandchildren also. Human behavior is quite interesting to say the least.

If only it were that easy. If it was that simple, I'd be staying away from WS, and I just can't. I don't even put people on ignore because I do like to read other's opinions. I don't blame people for thinking MR has something to do with it. That's not the problem. It's the personal attacks on someone's appearance and just downright ugliness that bugs me so much. It's hateful and while ER and AZG both despise MR, it has to be hurtful on some level that people are saying things about him causing people to want to shower or making their skin crawl, I mean this is the father of their children and someone they've shared a bed with. I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong about that but if I had an ex who was the father of my children and people were saying things like that, I'd be hurt. Now if it's proven that MR is responsible, then by all means open season. I don't know if that makes any sense. Kinda rambling I guess.

I think this is wonderful news for anyone who has any hope of resolving this case. Answers were needed. It shouldn't be about "poor MR", it should be about finding the truth. All this concern about MR shouldn't be the consideration. He is a grown man and he even said not to "worry about him" because he will be fine. I took him up on that suggestion because I don't really care if he did it or the man in the moon did it....I am only seeking the truth.

Thanks for trying to clarify. I think I get where you're coming from. :seeya:

I don't believe for one single minute that this hasn't impacted Azgrandma and ER. Azgrandma has publicly told us how much pain this has caused her. She questions her choice in having children with him and so does ER. They probably beat themselves up more than anyone else could possibly do to them. I've seen just as many negative accusations directed at those two women...and many of them were right here on WS. I've seen posters who implied that ER or someone close to her is responsible. I've seen both of them accused of parental alienation. I've seen them called "bitter" ex wives with a vendetta. All of that and more despite the fact that neither of them deserved it, there is NO evidence to support any of those allegations, and this is supposed to be a "victim friendly" website.
This is not a contest. MR raises the hinky meter in a lot of folks. Things aren't right with his story for most of us. He is also the person who was in charge of Dylan and the last person to see Dylan. He has been evasive and although subtle, his story has not remained consistent. He has a history of violent behavior, adult children from two separate families who want nothing to do with him, no supporting family members on his side who are willing to speak publicly on his behalf and IMO, he has not once expressed what I would consider "concern" about his missing child.
I do not and have never agreed with anyone making fun of irrelevant things such as MR's looks, etc. but those people are immature, so I scroll and roll because I'm not in high school and it isn't important enough to me to give them a second thought. They are deliberately provoking MR and it won't work, but they are ANGRY and I get that. If they choose to make themselves look foolish, why should I care? They are adults. So am I. So I ignore the childish behavior because this isn't about them. This is about Dylan.
Just my :twocents:

Yes, at this point, my concern is for Dylan who is either in grave danger or deceased. What does it matter if some anonymous FB posters find MR cringeworthy? I'm more swayed by the opinion of those who know him and believe he could be involved in his son's disappearance. All MOO
