Snipped by me.

That's funny! I've never heard of LE removing a toliet or a sink or a bathtub. Furniture is a different story
. A bathtub would be labor intensive and would take away a defendant's critical need for cleanliness. Maybe LE only takes bathtubs when they are in someone's yard?

FWIW, a simple Google search led me to this, and I'm sure there are many other examples.

"Investigators probing the death of Drew Peterson's third wife, Kathleen Savio, now possess the bathtub in which her body was found."

I have to ask how common is it that there is only a bathtub in a home? here its extremely common for there to be a bathtub and a seperate shower and many homes now have a seperate ensuite bathroom as well as a family bathroom.

LE wouldn't be able to tell whether Dylan’s cell phone was broken Sunday evening would they?
Was the 9:37 pm text sent from Dylan’s Ipod Touch?
Did Dylan bring his Ipod to Vallecito?

Where are you today Dylan? I hope somewhere safe and bright and that you're not afraid :)
I've been following many other cases and getting wrapped up in them and here there is not much to discuss and lotta snipes at each other, which I totally understand with the frustration level, but I just have nothing constructive or productive to add so I'm making no comments. But I have not forgotten this boy and I think about him a dozen times a day , if not more . Any mention of a storm in CO or if I look at the map at the state above CO or any time the words CO or LAKE or 13 come up in a day, my mind wanders to where is he :( I'm sure you are all the same. I just didn't want anyone to think I've forgotten. 6 months is a heart break and I don't know how any parent can bear it. Kudos to all of you who are still posting. And hey snipes at each other may not be appreciated but it shows how passionate you are of finding Dylan and that's not a bad thing ! Keep it up guys !

I think they would need the phone to confirm if it was broken, they would be able to tell what time the phone last pinged.

IIRC it was from his iPod Touch

from all accounts yes he did bring his iPod to Vallecito.

I wonder if we will hear anything from LE any time soon as it all seems very quiet .

I had to bring this post across from the radio thread

I'd like to know what your impressions are about LE's press release that refuted two claims that MR made.

something I also noticed in this press release is that they state court ordered visit, I wonder why they would include that? haven't there been discussions that its not important information?

I'm curious what you mean about the press releases refuting claims the MR made. I don't understand.

I haven't been able to listen yet. Could you please briefly summarize the two claims you're speaking of?
TIA. :seeya:

MRs claims

1. the postal worker sighting

2. that he reported Dylan missing

What is the issue with Mark, the postal worker sighting and the LE press release?

We do know that Mark contacted LE asking for help when he couldn't find Dylan.

the issue is that MR was pushing the postal worker sighting on the Dr Phil show, it had alsready been ruled out and it was again stated in the press release that it was not Dylan that she saw.

MR made out for quite some time that he had reported Dylan missing, LE refuted that claim. contacting LE and reporting Dylan missing are not one and the same.

I find that the longer the case goes on, my memory is waning on early details. :(

I seem to recall an article in which Bender stated MR reported Dylan missing (I will try to find it), but I can't remember MR stating it.

Would someone be kind enough to remind me of where it was that MR stated that he was the one who reported Dylan missing?

Thanks.

ETA: Never mind! Found one of them. Press release from LPCSO

I thought that the Dr Phil show was before this press release that your referring to.

Sure there's a difference between contacting LE and making an official missing persons report. But the fact is he contacted LE and told them that Dylan was missing. MOO.

So anything new on this case??? Any new information or press releases by LE??? Still hoping that Dylan comes home soon. I'm Team Dylan. It's all about Dylan Redwine and where he is and that he's safe.

the Dr P show aired Feb 27 (where I live) and the press release was March 19

its a good idea to refresh the memory by going back over the media links

MR said in one interview he was at the marshalls office 'taking care of it' and as you stated Bender said that MR reported Dylan missing, which is not true.

Hi Aust, can we add a #3? The statement included how EH and family had remained in CS

which refuted MR's theory of Elaine's kidnapping scheme

Thank you yes that is another claim that should be added.

Yes Dr Phil was before this press release, interesting isn't it that they felt the need to do a press release addressing those things among others.

why would he contact LE to tell them Dylan was missing but not make an official missing persons report? and why would LE feel the need to specify that it was EH that reported Dylan missing?

if anyone checked my original post they would have seen that I was asking a particular person for their impressions, I didn't mean for it to become a big issue.

You are exactly right. The press release date was March 19 and Dr. Phil aired in the US on Feb 26, taped some period before that.

You know, EH stated several times in the media that the last message/text from Dylan was 7 ish or 8. Until the press release came out.

I'm willing to say both these parents are missing pieces, parts, and information about the case of their missing son. Was EH refuted? Was MR refuted? Or did more information come to light? I'm going with the latter.
